I've just been settling into university and I've been out pretty much every night so it's a little difficult to get a post up.

Personality: overall, sam is probably one of the most fun guys around the avengers. he's cheeky and brave, making him easy to become friends with. however, he can become quite serious during some occasions, especially when helping steve rogers in his personal life. the two had much in common making easy friends, and with a brazen personality, he can easily relate with others. he even went as far as going off to help war veterans who were emotionally unstable after his best friend died in a failed mission. however, no matter what mood, sam will usually find some sort of light in it, making a hilarious or sarcastic comment.

History: wilson worked in united states air force for a while, assigned to the 58th rescue squadron. he and his wingman, riley, were given the opportunity to become test pilots for the exo-7 falcon, a set of mechanical wings. during a failed mission, sam lost his friend and retired from the air force. instead, he became a sort of therapist for traumatized soldiers.
during a jog around washington, sam met steve rogers who casually ran past him several times, occasionally teasing him with, "on your left." when sam stopped to catch his breath, steve came over to talk and they eventually came to both their veteran status. the two saw how similar they were, and sam invited him to see him during one of his talks.
then one day natasha and steve both appeared at his door, hoping he could be a trusted friend and not turn the two into hydra. when the two stowaways told him of their predicament, sam offered his help and retrieved his wings. when hydra was finally taken care of, he was invited to join the avengers, however, he wasn't greatly interested. yet, after ultron was defeated he came to join them.
while training at an avenger's facility, sam also happened to meet scott lang. after a quick duel between the two, scott escaped and sam's suit seemed disabled beyond repair. soon after, he realized that scott was a good man and searched for him to recruit.
during the incident of the sokovia accords, sam calls upon scott to help them defend bucky and prove the faults of the accords.
(...and then he and bucky go on an amazing road trip...)

Appearance: sam sports a well-trimmed, dark mustache and goatee, with short black hair and skin a chocolate brown color. when in uniform he wears a pair of red goggles, which also enhance his eyesight, and an exo-7 falcon. his uniform colors are red, white and grey, and he carries around his two machine pistols in holsters. standing at 6 feet and two inches high, sam is well muscled and has great legs due to his jogging routine.

Love Life: redwing is his lovely "adopted child". (otherwise, it doesn't seem like he's ever had a special someone.)
