@ohm Sure thing! I could see them having a good relationship
as mentor and apprentice but also friends. Silver will probably
have to scold him a lot, but he'll love on him as well, Ripplepaw
has a really good energy.

@autumn Aye, thanks! Mothpaw is adorable! I'm a-okay
with it, but let's start them out as friends first. Mothpaw
is a total sweetheart, so Adderpaw will probably linger
around her anyways.

@derision Thank you for changing Adderstalk and
I'm sorry for causing the sudden change. I took about thirty
minutes trying to match the color of his name to the lines
and wouldn't have been all too willing to change it anyways.
Otherwise, I would have changed it immediately, as I myself
am not fond of matching prefixes.

i've personally never had an issue when cats have had the same names,
especially as it happens multiple times in the books and your cats will
be written differently anyway - however i do understand where you
guys are coming from with not wanting the same prefixes. on that note,
i'll be making a new rule saying that people can't use the same prefix
twice.

it sounds like you guys seem to have done the mature thing and sorted
it out amongst yourselves, so if you are ok @derision having adderstalk
be cloudstalk then i'd like to put the topic to rest and move on. if anyone
has any issues in the future, i would much rather you pm'ed me and i will
deal with it straight away privately! no need for lots of drama in this thread.

it is difficult to please everybody when it comes to owning a roleplay, so
please try and be as understanding as possible if i make a rule you don't
necessarily agree with - thanks guys! <3

before i make a post- what exactly are the symptoms of this sickness? is it just coughing, a headache/stomachache, aches and pains or what? or can it vary depending on the severity? also, echopaw can tag fawnspring if you'd like! she's got a soft spot for apprentices :)

so the sickness comes from tainted water (though the cats themselves aren't 100% sure of the cause yet!). i expect it to vary a lot based on how sick you want to play your cats. for those of you who are playing mildly sick cats, i would say definitely a headache and a stomachache. for those of you playing moderately sick cats, vomiting as well as the aforementioned symptoms, as well as being incredibly lethargic and maybe unable to go about daily activities. for extremely sick cats, they probably won't even be able to get up and could get close to death - foxstar died from the water so it is possible, though rare.

the symptoms would last about 3-7 days, however if they are brought more water from the stream then they may continue to be sick for longer.

in my next antstar post i'm hoping he'll organise a few things even though he's all over everywhere and can't make a decision to save his life, such as some hunting parties to go further afield to find prey that isn't sick, as well as a party to try and figure out what the cause of the sickness is, probably led by ottermist or ashpaw (or a senior warrior) depending on who can stay back and look after the sick cats!

she's appreciative of the friendly cat, and although
this indecisiveness may irritate her sometimes, she
holds a keen interest to see how a cat who was for
merly a "follower" will fare leading the clan.

the slender medicine cat keeps to herself oftentimes
when she is not tending to the wounded and ill, and
weaver can respect that. while she wouldn't be wea
verrain's first candidate to jump into conversation
with, she does think that even medicine cats need
to vent sometimes and she is always ready to silently
be an ear if ottermist ever wanted to.

the young cat hasn't done anything to irritate her yet
or sway her opinion of him negatively but she's not
especially connected to him. she does applaud him
his maturity at his age and thinks that will greatly
influence his abilities as a future medicine cat.

she truly admires the older warrior for the perserve
rance he showed after his wound, to overcome an
injury like that and still be a formidable warrior is
something weaver is truly in awe of.

for all the she has gone through, weaver has empathy
for sleepingbird. she considers the motherly cat to
be a friend and is used to her doting antics by now.

▪ silvertail | ✔ / ✯

weaver thinks it's good to have someone as practical
and logical as silvertail around to give everyone a r
eality check when needed. she could definitely see
herself being good friends the the silver tabby.

▪ mossfur | ✔ / ♡

the usual face of indifference that he wears rubs her
the wrong way, almost to the point where she's irrit
ated that she hasn't seen any other emotion from th
e tomcat. though, because of this she finds herself
intrigued by mossfur and wants to stick around to
uncover what's beneath that face he wears. she has
yet to discover this "intrigue" she has for him is actu
ally developing feelings.

as apprentices she found him insufferable and not
much has changed since. she's not fond of hawk and
is usually always irritated by him.

if not for the rudeness this molly often displays, she
probably wouldn't mind her that much. bluntness
is something weaver appreciates, yes, but it's blat
ant rudeness that she won't stand for. probably
wouldn't be civil if russet's rudeness was directed at
her.

▪ wolfheart | °

his compassion for the clan and his dedication to
all have earned credit, and weaver will give credit
where credit is due. although there aren't notable
feelings of good or bad towards the tom, wolf's com
passion to help his clan mates sits well with her.

▪ pythonshade | ✔

while most may look at the fierce molly and be intim
idate, weaverrain sees a formidable ally and possib
le friend in the calculating feline. she's counted on
to get something done efficiently and python surely
does it, just one thing weaverrain likes about her.
she's strong on her own two paws and seems level-
headed enough to know what she wants that the
two have the possibility to grow into friends.

she's a sweet cat and weaver doesn't think she needs
to prove her worth any more than anyone else, esp
ecially since she's done quite well for herself despit
e her impairment.

weaverrain, an exuberant molly who's primal nature is characterized
by her devotion and fierce loyalty to her clan, is also a feline who is
said to be a rather focused and work-oriented individual. weaverrain
should not be judged by the softness that her appearance displays,
it is often her eyes that give way to the truth that she is in fact far
from a soft cat, with their unyielding ice blue intensity that can make
even the bravest warrior squirm in their pelt. though the molly does
in fact carry herself with a relaxed and elegant air, others are often
warned to take caution of her moodiness that can switch at the twitch
of an ear.

alongside the unpredictability of her moods is the unflattering notion
that weaverrain is a cat who is easily irritated. courage runs deep thr
ough her veins and there is never something that she won't try to face
up against to protect her clan, no matter how badly the odds look for
her or how dangerous the situation. her determination got her to whe
re she is today and she would sooner roll over and die than admit def
eat without trying every course of action possible. weaverrain is one
of the cats who possesses no filter and says whatever is on her mind
whenever she deems it fit, though when she is nervous or angered she
doesn't even have time to think about whether the time is appropriate
to say something, it just rolls of her tongue before she can stop it.

although the flame point warrior lacks a filter, it seems like she is inca
pable or may simply not want to voice her own feelings aloud. yes, she
acknowledges her emotions; if she admires, respects, cherishes or loves
someone, yet it is very rare that she will verbally voice these emotions.
showing them through actions is more her style. even then, if weaverrain
dislikes someone she won't hesitate to let them know with words and
actions. she is not accustomed to the idea of falling in love because the
re had never been a time in her life where she had been able to feel
that way with anyone. though her parents spoke of it before they passed
and told her that they truly wished she found a mate in her future if it
made her happy, weaverrain had never had the opportunity to feel som
ething akin to love for a cat who was not her family. so thus began the
progress of disbelief. she simply didn't believe that love like that was
possible, that it was all fabled.

her quietness as a breath of fresh air when compared
to some of the rowdier cats in the clan. weaver feels
that she can speak freely with her and not worry abo

like usual, weaverrain appreciates maturity and it's
no different with the fluffy tom. she likes that he's
very laid-back and easy to talk to. she would defini
tely be one of those cats who tries to lift up his self-
esteem without being invasive or clingy.

▪ cedarfoot | ✔

the one thing she can always count on when it comes
to cedarfoot is that he will always give an honest an
swer if she asked for his opinion. she genuinely likes
the tomcat and enjoys his company.

▪ cloudstalk | °

she doesn't truly feel any negative feelings towards
the tomcat, and although he can't be blamed for his
lack of ability to empathize with others, it does mak
e it a little harder to empathize with him.

▪ fawnspring | ✔

weaver regards her as a benevolent soul with a kind
heart and is always up for a chat with fawnspring.
she doesn't necessarily agree with her mindset of
needing to please others, but that's not really a
huge concern to weaverrain

▪ mothpaw | °

there hasn't been any issues weaverrain has had with
the apprentice and genuinely thinks she's got a good
head on her shoulders despite the feelings she may
have of not fitting in. weaver is rooting for her on
the sidelines and hopes that things work out for her.

thank heavens he is not her apprentice. weaverrain
could deal with his grumpiness but his attitude and
hostility when he talks would hit one too many ner
ves and she would probably bluntly tell him to watch
his mouth and get a new attitude.

youth will be youth and weaverrain understands that
so for the most part she's patient with ripplepaw and
may only balk at half the crazy things he does now.

▪ adderpaw | °

if he were her own apprentice his laziness might sta
rt to irritate her, but the tom's punctuality would
be his saving grace.

she will always respect strong feminism when she see's
it, and that's exactly what she see's when she looks
at snowflower. while they both share a mutual livli
ness and strong aura, weaver's own collectiveness
could balance out the impulsive nature of the queen.

▪ skykit | ✔

weaverrain would probably really like this little kit
and be intrigued by her larger-than-life personality.
she could see herself being fond of the small kit

she doesn't really pass too much judgment on kits
so it's safe to say until they annoy her or give her a
reason to dislike them, weaver is okay with briarkit.

curiosity killed the cat. nothing has ever been as true as this statement.
well, besides the fact that saplingpaw is in fact, not dead. though with
a personality such as hers and curiosity to match her thirst for the unk
nown, it's a miracle saplingpaw hasn't suffered more injuries than she has.
the brown molly has always been an adventurous soul, truly at ease and
content with herself when she's out and about and exploring. never in
her life had she been an easy one to tie down or constrict to certain res
trictions, which is why she is quite the handful and not the easiest app
rentice to control. saplingpaw is witty and daring, poised with smart re
marks on the end of her tongue ready to render any cat speechless.

she likes to push the limits, to venture to places others wouldn't dare
and to take on the tasks that her seniors tell her she's not ready for.
her favourite hobby? proving others wrong. once she sets her mind to
something it's set in stone and she cannot be deterred until she sees it
through. though she does have a one-track mind and has to see one
thing through before she can take on another, saplingpaw excels greatly
in her training, constantly attempting to think outside of the box in ter
ms of battle and hunting techniques.

saplingpaw, even with her sharp tongue and bundle of sass, is a kind cat
and a loyal friend who will stick with you through thick and thin. her
flirtatiousness can turn heads, and if that doesn't then her shameless
nature definitely will. she indeed has no shame and the things that
other would normally be ashamed of or embarrassed by, do not phase
her in the least. alas, although saplingpaw is known for being a reckless
time bomb, others have often spoke of her humbleness and praised her
ability to tune out the negativity around her.
