And goodness, your dogs all sound like such cuties! I don’t mind dog blabbers ever xD

Dui would hold my heart, I have a weakness for herding breed-ish mutts ahhh

My girl Jay is an almost 2 y/o heeler/bc mix? We think, lol. Mostly black, with a white/grayish mottled chest and blue eyes, some tan markings. Very athletic. She doesn’t like baths :c but tolerates them. I try to make it fast. She’s pretty calm and well behaved for a younger dog though!

But yeah, I’m in a rental house with my family, and it’s fully carpeted >n< ahhhh so yeah, gotta be proactive with not tracking in from the too often muddy backyard.

Since we're talking about our dogs I have a chi-min pin mix named Eevee. Cute, sweet, crazy, ADHD, easily distracted, and even though she's spayed she's boy crazy, hard-headed, and stubborn.

My dad has a chi- Russel mix named Thor. Mostly a grumpy old man but is also stubborn.

He is a mess.. iv never had a dog just absolutely nuts like him before. Its also been a very long time since I had a puppy so maybe that plays into it but he is just non stop and won't listen to anything. For all my effort in the last 10 months he only knows how to sit, shake(paw), and lay down (sorta, he does lay down but smacks you with his paw at the same time)
Staying, coming to his name, and going to the door to go outside is off the table for him apparently
My chickens have stopped laying eggs because he just pesters them non-stop anytime he is outside. I have to make sure there is no way for him to get outside when I let them out lol.
He is currently wearing a cone after his surgery and he just uses that thing to smack and bully the other dogs at this point (And any people) I love him but he is a little gremlin for sure XD
He is my first herding breed dog.

I had a lot of chihuahua mixes growing up because people just dumped them a lot where I lived. Iv had a german shepherd/lab/chow and a boxer before too. Currently aside from Dui, Beau, and Asher, I have Molly, a Bluetick hound, and Baby, a very old cranky chihuahua who tries to eat beau anytime she sees him lol. Not counting my zoo of other animals but our poor carpet is just... it needs to be replaced at this point. Luckily we own our house but still.

Jay sounds like an absolute doll though. Heelers & Collies are beautiful just in general but I bet she is really pretty being a mix

Also @ anyone who has a dog older than or around the same age as Magnus & Enver, would you like to have had a run-in with them as pups/trainees on the dog's territory years ago?

Amaruq and Redd could've had some type run in, since they're both elderly, maybe something where they crossed paths while she was a wandering medic? Maybe something where she healed Redd when they were younger, but she keeps it secret? I know she's not a dog but it'd be something interesting! Like they both know about it yet they act neutral towards eachother?

I love chihuahuas! I volunteer with a dog rescue occasionally, and I have noticed a lot of them who take a while to get adopted ;n; mostly because of their attitudes? I’m guessing. They are hoots to be around though!

And ahh, thank you! I’m def biased but yes, she is a doll! Had some separation anxiety at first, but we’ve made so much progress and she’s really settled down. She’s pretty smart, and very food motivated. Not that stubborn, but maybe I just haven’t noticed xD but she knows come, sit, stay, paw, down, back, wait, sit pretty, and we’re working on place rn.


Also! I tagged Clove in my last post, since I believe she was at the watering hole.

And yeah! Quote is Magnus’s age, so the trainee pup (flashback/past thingy?) would be cool ^^ I feel like she’s neutral on the dog pack thing, depending on the kind of run-ins she’s had with em in the past.

Ooo, that sounds like a good idea!
Depending on when their meeting was it could be different. When he was younger (2-6) He would have been very hard to handle. He would have probably been aggressive or at least very rude and chased her off the territory for being a wolf. Anytime after that, he would have been more civil, even questioning her on wolf customs and such. So if you would prefer a bad or good interaction either one could have occurred with him

Its a shame but yea, lots of them have "Big dog syndrome" and think they are big and bad haha. As a very short guy I can understand their constant rage though. They get adopted out here pretty fast actually, or at least go to rescues. Our shelters are more filled with Pitts, Hounds, and labs unfortunately. Lots of hunting dogs people don't want anymore or the such.
Sweet girl. Beau has really bad separation anxiety too. It's sad to see them so stressed by being alone and all that. Im glad she is doing better with it though! And all those tricks! Amazing. Not only is she pretty but smart too! As bad as he is Dui knows the most tricks out of my dogs lol. They pretty much prefer to make us do the tricks.

That could be cool yea, we can work something out too. Her history says she was alone for the first 2 years of her life right? Around then Magnus lost his mom while she was saving a dog from drowning in the river and became alpha. He has not gone to the dog territory since then really and stopped sneaking over when he was 10 months. Perhaps when they were younger though they ran into each other while exploring the dog territory and spent a day or two playing or something before they had to part ways/go back to the pack and left her. Only to meet again when she was older and joined the pack? So she would know that Magnus wasn't always so grumpy or something. Hope those sentences make sence, Its getting late here haha.

Ahh I’m an idiot! That’s right lol, she wouldn’t have been a trainee. It’s late for me too, and I was just writing another wolf’s backstory for a different roleplay.

But yes! I think that’s a good idea. She would have probably been skeptical about joining any pack at that point but meeting another pup her age she would have enjoyed for sure. And then like you said later down the road joined the pack!

You made sense, haha, but I get it. It’s time for me to hit the hay.

how about something when Redd was 6? the two have a four year age gap so she'd be 10, around the time she joined the pack! maybe while Timur was taking her to join she noticed Redd in need of help? She wouldn't have much to say about things like pack customs except for how a pack would operate and rankings or apprenticeships, i think Amaruq would hold a sorta "you are our descendants and we should treat you as we would our own" type mentality, but hides it from the rest of the wolves
