With the exception of I think 1, MAYBE 2 people, we're all familiar with at LEAST the main cast, so no forms needed for claiming canon charries, I just do it for fun tbh

@spirit from what I understand the race takes pride in their silky soft fur, which they refer to as "mink" so people just started calling the race as a whole "minks."

I'm honestly not sure if it has any relation to the mink rodent. I know mink rodent fur is really soft and used in fur coats irl, so it could have something to do with that?
