Do you know what your characters look like yet? They may help.
Perhaps the male can be spunky, or around those lines, and maybe the female nosy and reserved?

There's no official rank for Beta Female/Beta's Mate since then we have four high ranks rather than 2-3, and the Beta becomes Alpha after. So Cody is still technically a Hunter, but if/when Cole becomes Alpha, she would be Alpha's Mate.

You can do what you want there, she just doesn'tt actually have authority over the wolves like Alphas or Cole, unless that's specifically stated by an Alpha, or Cole. (if Shadow and Ash aren't present)
