The lead mare isn't necessarily the one who joins the herd first, the mares in the herd decide who the lead mare is, and it's usually the oldest/most experienced mare but it depends on the mares really

But would any stallion or mare want to be in a herd with Ariel, a Clydesdale I will 'recreate' from an old roleplayer, Grimmjow&Orihime which confirmed in a private message he won't role play on this thread anymore or play as his horses.
