Cloudstalk was born in a very strict kithood. He was the only survivor of his litter of three. His mother, Robincry, was already sickly during the pregnancy. Shortly after his birth, she passed away in her sleep. His father, Jaggedfeather, was a very demanding tomcat. Instead of being distraught, he turned his attention to young Cloudkit. He wanted nothing but the best out of his only and first son. Perhaps that is why he only ever learned the practicalities of things. Cloudstalk was never given affection or doting love as a normal kit would from his or her parents. And so, following Jaggedfeather's wishes, he was a hardworking tom who performed the best as he possibly could. His ability also distanced himself from other apprentices, who were jealous and thought he was showing off every time he performed. In a way, he was, as deep inside all Cloudstalk wanted was to please his stone-cold father. He was never successful. His father recently passed away to the sickness that is ravaging the clan.

antstar/ neutral: he considers him illfit to be a leader only
because of his indecisiveness. otherwise adder seems quite
apathetic, it's not as if he's done anything wrong yet.
ashpaw/ neutral pos: perhaps a bit annoying at times around
the camp, he's observed how well he responds in his work
environment and thinks he'd be a good successor to ottermist.
sleepingbird/ positive: outwardly he thinks her doting is a bit
suffocating, but he enjoys it inwardly.
mossfur/ neutral neg: adder doesn't really have a particular
opinion towards him. another comrade, perhaps, or just that
he sees mossfur as a worse version of himself.
russetshade/ neutral pos: adder can't be bothered to feel
much of an opinion for her. he finds her aloof and reserved
personality in kind to him, so he tries to view her as he might
view himself.
pythonshade/ neutral: her ferocity can be a bit offputting,
and adder really doesn't know how to approach such a cat.

avoids conversation with her when possible.

more about the other tom. he respects his loyalty but otherwise

but he doesn't really associate much with the apprentices so he
hasn't gauged her out much yet.
snowflower/ positive: even thought adder doesn't like her impatience
