Darklings - Discussion and Forms

There should be a couple new members joining soon as well, so we may want to host a party so that everyone has an opportunity to jump into the roleplay. I'll have the party at Jonathan's house. All we need to do is decide when it would be a good time to move shift into that. It could be during the day so there aren't any real time skips.

Personality: Nathaniel is a very strong and selfless individual. Even though he knows of his demonic heritage he tries to hide in by telling himself that he doesn't need to use the powers that he inherited from his mother. He will put other people before himself and will even fight a stronger opponent if he needs to. If he completes a mission he will use some of the money to feed the poor children that he comes across and often has some sweets to give them if they are good. He likes to use his good looks to get into any social event or place to get information about a target or creature that he is hunting.

History:Born to the head of the hunters order and the queen of all demons, Nathaniel's life was filled with tragedy and hardship. From an early age he was trained in the ways of the hunters taking down a elder vampire at the age of sixteen and saving several of the captives. However when he turned 17 his mother came to collect him so to speak. Without much choice, Nathaniel was sent to the world of his mother and she began to teach him of his demonic heritage and even allowed him to battle several demons that were threatening to eat him when his mother would turn his back. With his mother Nathaniel began to experience several different types of powers. As his training came to the end, his mother sent him back and it was then there that Nathaniel was stripped of his hunters rank after the council learned of his heritage and had him hunt down a vampire count.

Powers and Abilities: He has enhanced speed and agility and can use several hunter items to help him in a battle. He can use an old bone that was passed down to him by his father that allows him to roll faster as it almost appears that he teleports. He can conjure and manipulate blue flames serving as shields and fire attacks to his weapon. He will enter a state of berserk when his life is threatened, when he enters this state is eyes will become black and his horns will grow out of his head as his body changes color to a silver grey. When in this form he can move faster then a normal human and can punch through solid stone. He will often have to pull himself out of it because every time he uses it he loses a bit of his humanity.

Weapon: He has two weapons the first one is a pistol that he has modified to fire both regular rounds and silver rounds. This gun he usually hides within his trench coat and will try to use it to intimidate people. His second weapon is a curved sword with what looks like a bunch of sticks on his back. If he places the curved sword next to the pile of sticks it will turn into a scythe that he uses when he is cornered.

as much as I love Severin and Estelles' conversations I think it would be better if we skipped straight to the party as a kind of restart so everyone can get their characters involved. ^^

@Artoias, I think we will but maybe a little later? I'm writing a post up right now to hopefully put a few characters together ^^

I'm open to whatever time suits the group best. Also, I'm leaving this coming Tuesday to go on a two week trip to Tanzania, so I will be unable to respond, but will if I can. I'm sorry that I forgot to give more advanced notice but I may wait until I come back to get some of my characters more involved in the roleplay. Perhaps I can come up with an explanation for having Severin out of the story for a little while, perhaps @ArtoriasoftheAbyss's character could injure him so he's forced to hide until he recovers? If we reach the party before I leave, I think a conflict could arise that could make my absence a little less jarring. I will respond as soon as I reach the airport in Amsterdam or return back to the States.

Should the party just about be starting? Since Nathaniel seems to be tailing Lynn and Aria at the moment (I'm not sure) would it be a good idea for them to head there in search of help or something? Because I don't know about Aria but Lynette isn't the strongest ghost out there XD
