Brief History:
Growing up in a household that doesn't seem to care about your existence is taxing. Having them suddenly care you when you nearly drown one of them? Well, that's more than taxing; that's terrifying.
And Velvet Archeron, a noble-born Scale Descendant of the Archeron family - known for their merchant ships and monopoly over said trade - was and always has been terrified of himself. Of the deep, dark, swirling waters in his veins, that even those who were trusted with his care... Tried to use his depths for themselves. To contain him like a river with no end... To flood away their enemies until there was nothing left in their path.
It's why he fled his life with the Archeron's. But stayed close - so close to them that he could walk back into their lives if he wanted to. But they were dangerous for him, worse than the streets of Navem could ever be. He lost all sense of self under their roof, and made it a point to take care to hide himself well from their sight... Even if that would be impossible some day.

Brief personality traits: Deceitful, arrogant, flamboyant.

Likes: Color, sunshine, rain, singing.

Dislikes: Open water, falling, darkness.

Abilities: Able to manifest water and control it (like a waterbender) + make shards of ice from water.

Strengths: Good actor, charismatic, dexterous, beautiful/entrancing singing voice.

Hey everyone! I would just like to warn you all that I will try to reply whenever I can, however this coming week school will be starting for me and it will likely be too chaotic for me to spend too much time on here. I am unsure how much free time I will have after that, but I am quite dedicated to this rp and will make sure post more frequently!

abilities:xia keeps a sai on either side of her, held tightly in their holsters, and a trident strapped to her back. while her armour is lightweight, it's tough. also has half a vial of dragon blood for emergency purposes. the sapphire amulet around her neck is enchanted and allows her to see, absorb, and use the aura fields of living things around her to her advantage. for example, she can take in some energy from a tree and send it into the ground to create a shockwave, knocking people over if they are chasing her.

appearance: when she's on the run, swiping items from displays, xia is covered in a worn brown cloak to blend into the streets. she makes a quick turn and transforms completely, as she wears shining lightweight armour beneath. her shoulder and chest plates, as well as wrist cuffs are pearly white, right on top of her silver chainlink armour. when she's wandering the city, stolen goods and belongings stowed safely away, the tattoo sleeve on her left arm is visible due to the plain white tank top she wears. those tattoos include a cobra spiralling up the entire arm, a red pentagram on the shoulder, a norse knot symbol beneath it, and runes sprinkled between the gaps. her casual look also includes cargo shorts and combat boots, as well as a red bandana tied around her neck, keeping her prized amulet hidden beneath.

personality: xia's brain is a complex of philosophy and questions that could never be answered. she's analytical and curious, but her anger issues hinder her. xia is passive-aggressive and easily acts out over misunderstandings. she's good at communicating with others through speech but lacks the same ability using actions. xia has the heart to care for everyone around her, but genuinely fears loss and knows no way to prepare for it. it's difficult for her to grow close with her peers, but once a bond is formed, it lasts forever.

history: rän-aki kelde and björn-baldr olsen abandoned their child in an orphanage seventeen years ago to continue exploring the world. born as reidun olsen, xia argon grew up to name herself and become independent. with every passing second at the orphanage, she planned and strived to leave in order to lead a life of her own. she succeeded at this when a nineteen-year-old adopted her at the age of twelve, giving her a taste of dragon blood before trying to convince her to steal some from vendors across the nation for him. this man, michael, would later be arrested for heinous crimes unknown to xia, leaving her orphaned once again. at thirteen, xia sustained herself by stealing and reselling items from stalls for cheaper prices. with her extra money, she got tattoos and armour, as well as a few weapons— and her most treasured sapphire amulet.

now, at age seventeen when dragon blood had just been labelled as scarce, xia heads off to seek sleeping dragons in order to take their blood and sell it at a higher rate. along the way, she finds a baby drake whom she names rosemary. the intention was to drain the drakes blood or sell the dragon as a whole, but xia found that she couldn't hurt such an innocent young creature, and continues to hunt, with rosemary in tow.

strengths: good upper body strength. xia also relies on stealth a lot, meaning she's gotten quite good at sneaking around.

weaknesses: xia has asthma, meaning while she can sprint in short bursts, her endurance is compromised and she might give out during long chases.
