and to check if it works tries to light it
and sets of a spark. then boom! explosion.

and for abby and nash, yeah sure, exes?

oh and what if after the gas station explodes at night-ish, whatever terp was hinting about (the thing that only comes out at night?) attacks them all and they scatter, with like some people still managing to stick with a few people from their own gangs, but ending up with like one or two people who aren't (those would be like the hostages?)?
it could add drama to have them running around town trying to regroup, while also having to avoid the darkness thing and having to deal with the people who were injured by the explosion?
