Wait.. just thought.
Maybe when Rowena gets mad, Fang can get mad and storm off, to the river and finds her. He doesn't wanna know and doesn't care about her losing her pack because of his anger, so he kinda ignores. He goes back to his old den, and she follows. She sleeps outside of his den and eventually he sees her and invites her in for 'one night'... but then she ends up staying a while and gradually they bond? Idk. But I think after this, Fang and Rowena are gonna need a break and he needs company while that's happening lol. Even if it is unwanted. It'd be cute, he isn't a father figure at all.

In the drawing i did i imagined Fang getting angry. Rowena would start furious and violent but simmer down into a crying heap of fur.
