ajax is a very logical and methodical person, who likes
everything to be planned out in advance, with each of
the possible counter-actions also being considered. he
doesn't ever do something without thoroughly thinking
it and its consequences through first. not the type to
ever rush/jump into things, he has never really had much
of a love life, for although he's an attractive guy, he's so
preoccupied by his work that he doesn't even notice when
any male is flirting with him. call him oblivious. underneath
the cold and distant exterior is a true softie, but it'll take
someone extremely dedicated to get that to show.

ajax was born into the red sun pack; he had one sister, callista, his father
was an epsilon, and his mother was a delta. his mother took calista under
her wing to raise up to become a messenger like herself, swift and fast,
and so ajax learned from his father how to fight. however, ajax' uncle was
a guard, and he was immediately interested by that rank. he became his
uncles apprentice, going everywhere with him, learning how to plan and
use diplomacy, but also how to fight and arrange battles. ajax was only
9 when his parents were killed tragically, and callista and he were officially
taken in by their uncle. however, callista couldn't handle the guilt, and
ended up drowned in the river, leaving him alone with only his uncle to call
family.

history: archer was born and raised in the usa. he had fairly normal childhood until he started public school. the first week went by fine until a new kid, joey, came into the picture. joey regularly bullied archer and was too afraid to tell anyone about the situation. archer's parents assumed the kid was a friend of archer's up until senior year of high school, which was when their son had confessed about joey bullying him. archer hasn't seen much of joey since then, but he is still cautious around people who act like joey did.

archer was pretty sure he was a regular human being up until he turned eighteen and had his first shift. when it first happened he thought he had gone crazy and imagined the whole thing. he was too afraid to bring it up with his parents until it happened again. he only told them because he had woken in a bloody mess. his parents were the ones to break the news of what he was and to reveal that archer's grandpa and grandma, on his mother's side, had been werewolves. his mother hadn't taken the werewolf gene but carried it. meaning that any child she had would have a chance of being a werewolf, which is how archer was a werewolf and his parents weren't.

his parents had no idea what to do with archer's problem, which is why archer was forced to move in with his mother's parents. he lived with his grandparents for a few years before they recommended him to join a pack led by casey hawkins, as they thought she would be able to help him more than they could. he traveled to where her pack was located and was able to join after mentioning his grandparents by name. archer has only been with the pack for three months. besides working to solve his own issues, he's trying to figure out what he wants to do in the pack. but he's also not so sure if this pack life is for him yet. he only knows the basics of how the pack runs.

archer still views his wolf form as a vile creature. there's a great dissonance between him and his wolf because of this. this dissonance has caused issues for him and prevents him from being in the human world. he sticks around the cabin as his wolf can, and will, force it's way out even when it's not a full moon. luckily for him, he can usually tell when the shift is going to happen an hour before it does as he becomes very irritable and aggressive. archer generally locks himself away to prevent himself from harming anyone.
