do medicine cats get assigned mates?

there are two medicine cats because they are automatically paired together. <: sorry, i forgot to add that to the arranged mates.

oh! I just got a good idea! Maybe med. cats can only have kits when there is a pair that aren't able to have kits (one/two is infertile) so they have the kits, but the pair raises them as their own??

I feel like Sweetnose would be low-key terrified of Leopardpaw. They are polar opposites. Shes so mean and he is so... well... sweet! But at the same time he definitely could develop feelings for her lol

I say they should be able too... since there will be the males who are capable of caring for the clan while the females are in the nursery... or maybe only one pair is permitted to have kits at a time...
