brief history: mae's parents are amelia martel, a daily prophet advice columnist, and hiromi martel, an obliviator. she has a five-year-old sister, eve martel. her mother is white, with dirty blond hair and blue eyes, whilst her father has black hair and blue eyes. her father's mother is japanese, why her father was raised in japan, and attended the japanese wizarding school, mahoutokoro. although mae was raised in japan, she learned to fluently speak english. her mother insisted that mae be sent to hogwarts, arguing that since she had been raised in japan for ten years, it was only fair that she could embrace her mother's culture. when she arrived, she was sorted into hufflepuff, which she did not expect, as her mother had been a ravenclaw. she has greatly enjoyed her time at hogwarts so far, and cannot believe that her time here is almost half over! her favorite subject is history of magic, as she finds it very interesting how much different british magical history is from japanese magical history. she also finds divination fun, although professor trelawney a bit alarming.

brief description: peeves is a poltergeist living at hogwarts, known for causing loads of trouble! he enjoys pranking the students, and making the life of caretaker argus filch miserable. he is very afraid of the bloody baron, the only one who can put a finite stop to his antics. many have tried using elaborates traps, such as rancorous carpe in 1876, however, all endeavors such as these have ended in failure. the only students he does not wreck havoc upon are fred and george weasley, as they often conspire together on their pranks. little else is known about peeves, besides his ability to make up inappropriate poems up in just a few seconds.
