I am also curious, and likely mentioned it in a recent post. I imagine they aren't purely alone (there would be groups of all ages and not just conveniently ~20 year olds). I mentioned my girl being from a full group of varying ages but she might've been seen/volunteered to go check something out, or perhaps got separated for some reason or stumbled into strangers while out.
I figured the survivors live in bands of varying sizes, whether just a handful of nomads or full villages with more permanent setups. After all, someone gave birth to them and raised them, right? xD
I have a few minutes so I'm going to see if I can get a name figured out for my character and maybe slap a smidgen of coding onto her form.

kai at a glance seems quite innocent and swee-
t, but don't get on the wrong side of him because
he can get quite violent. although, this is unlikely
and he prefers to be his happy self. he's quite an
easy going guy and likes to make sure there are no
arguments, so he's sort of like the peacekeeper.

Finished my girl! Now to read the roleplay and join in on that fun...
Where are people putting these relationships? With their form?
And anyone have any ideas for the survivors seeing the explorers? I was thinking my Ada could be with one or two others from the group she joined about a year ago (I imagine that group as being fairly settled, maybe 40-100 people). Maybe fetching water, checking out a rumor or seeking out someone said to be lost and hurt (as she is a healer), going after some horses (or other livestock) that got loose, a lost child, searching for a particular herb that she needs in her supplies, etc. Maybe one person she likes okay and one she isn't fond of?

Oh I quite agree; I am primarily waiting to hear her input on what she envisions for the roleplay as my questions/suggestions do rely on further information. By directing the questions to everyone, I was more wanting to engage everyone in case echo hasn't decided on things and would welcome the discussion/ideas. If she doesn't have everything set in stone yet, perhaps comments already posted will help her better get a sense of what she does/doesn't like and what direction she wants the roleplay to go in. ^_^
Personally, I hope to get as much done as possible before Monday when I go back to work, hence utilizing the time so. I can of course roleplay during the week, but sitting down to have full discussions and create characters is a bit harder.

echo . wrote:i'm sorry for my inactivity, im back now. also, everyone is accepted and i think it would be a good idea to put relations with them. what would everyone prefer, the survivors in a big group or two - three of them?
I personally think it would be easier in smaller groups. Less confusing >< lol of course that would mean we would have to decide who goes where. (I'll have Dallas' relations up soon.)

I also like the smaller groups. May make it tricky for having them run into the bunker-folk though - one group may essentially have to wait for the other before joining the scene, if that makes sense.
Or even have some of the survivors run into/meet up with other survivors before stumbling upon the bunker-folk?
Hope everyone has been enjoying their holidays off from work/school!
