Clan Name:
Snowclan
Territory:
Cold, icy, wet. This clans territory is full of thick, pine trees, three quarters of the year the territory is bathed in snow. The territory only thaws during Newleaf when they clan makes sure to eat and hunt enough to get them through the colder months. The territory has frozen rivers and frozen pools that need to be broken for fresh, running water. There camp is dug into a enclosed hollow, three high walls surround it and the dens are dug deep into the walls and roots of trees and branches. The walls prevent snow from coating the camp. There is lots of moss around the territory, but often it has to be dried during the Newleaf and then stored until needed. Prey includes Hares, Puffins, Beavers and Goose. The cats are often hunted by Lynx but they team up to take down the large predators.
Notable History:
Founded many years ago by a cat who left there clan due to conflict, the cat gathered others, building up a clan. They settled on the territory and just never left.
Unique Skills:
Thick fur, ready for the winter. These cats seem to have fur many times thicker than normal to protect against the snow. There paws are slightly bigger, helping them stay slightly on top of the snow. They are experts at hearing there prey, at sniffing out the slightest meal. They can get into tunnels to get to mice and other small animals.
Reputation/Personality:
They have no neighbors, but will always accept more cats to assist there clan.
Average Clan Member:
Huge and thick furred, these cats clearly have Norwegian Forest Cat, Maine Coon, Siberian Forest Cat and Rag-Doll blood making up there numbers. They are huge compared to normal cats, big enough to fight and even hunt the lynxs that prowl there territory.
Important Notes:
None
Name Rating: 10/10
Name Reasoning: The name fits them to a T, and I don't think there's much to say on that subject!
Alternative Name: None.
Clan Rating: 9/10
Clan Reasoning: Only two issues to pick on - the first being that if the cats are so huge, they probably won't be able to go into small tunnels and hunt down tiny prey. The second being that they wouldn't have to worry too badly about prey during the winter - even in the cold, there will always be hares and such. The cats are large enough to take down a lynx - I wouldn't be surprised if they decided one day to give the meat a try. Other than that, this Clan's superb.
Suggestions: Just work on the two things above!
