Appearance: Cliff has light brown hair and amber coloured eyes. He stands at 5'11'' and has a fairly average build. He tends to present himself as quite casual and laid back. His skin is white and he has a fairly rounded face. He walks around very laid back, so he seems a little shorter than he actually is. He wears a red tracksuit, and prefers casual clothing over formal clothing.

Personality: Cliff is a chill friendly guy who loves to make friends and battle. He is outgoing, and likes to talk to new people. He's not very good at being able to tell how someone is feeling, and will approach anyone for a chat, or even a battle if they so wish. He will always try and bring positive energy wherever he goes, always smiling even after a loss, and is always up for trying out new things.

Bio: Cliff was born in Paldea and lived there for most his life, right up until he moved to Asura. As usual, when he was 11 he set off on his Pokemon journey with the support of his parents. In his travels around Paldea, he found many Pokemon, including the six that make up his current team, however he's actually completed his Paldea Pokedex through his travels. He's also beaten all the gyms and become a Champion in Paldea. He was recommended to travel to Asura by the Paldean Pokemon League, since it was a spot for many trainers to come together, so he moved to Asura, however he plans to visit Paldea again in the future.

Appearance: Grunt's default appearance is, in a word, unremarkable. A woman of average height and build, with pale skin, dull brown eyes, and shoulder-length mousy brown hair. Her thin face is lined from years of hard living, set in a neutral expression devoid of emotion. This is not, however how most people perceive her. She's a master of disguise, often drastically altering her appearance to suit her needs or whims, and for the Battledome she's pulled out all the stops. Her hair is now a bright cyan, styled in a messy bob cut, and she wears bright red color contacts under an equally red visor. She wears a black hooded Kevlar vest over a ribbed, silver shirt, deep blue flared jeans with white circular designs running down the side of each leg, and silver knee-high boots. A large gray messenger bag hangs at her side, the strap adorned with the insignia of Teams Rocket, Aqua, Galactic, Plasma, and Flare, each with a large scratch through the center. Her normal casual, meandering gait has been replaced by a confident and purposeful stride, and shoulders normally slumped with apathy are now squared with confidence.

Personality: Until recently, Grunt was the sort of person to let life pass her by. She didn't have much in the way of passion or motivation, and was perfectly happy to drift along with the wind, going wherever it took her. To an extent, that mindset is still a part of her; she has an intense wanderlust and struggles to form any lasting bonds, but her listlessness has been tempered by a fierce sense of determination and independence, a desire to use the years of experience she's acquired to carve her own path.

Bio: Grunt was born under another name, though she hasn't used it in years, on the wrong side of the tracks in Celadon City. Her home life was rough, and at the tender age of sixteen she found herself on the streets, struggling to get by. Like most disenfranchised Kantonian youths, she found salvation in the arms of Team Rocket, both as a means to keep the lights on and as something to derive some semblance of purpose from. When Team Rocket disbanded, she followed the remnants west to the Johto region. When that fell as well, she journeyed to Hoenn, signing up with Team Aqua. Over the next fifteen years she'd circle the globe, signing on with a new group of villains, then moving on when they were inevitably dismantled. Grunt grew from a position to a name, the only thing she was ever called. Her viewpoint changed on her arrival to Alola, where instead of an organized, structured group, she was met with the wild chaos of Team Skull. This, more than anything else, gave her pause. There was no stability to be had here, no structure or organization. She'd come full cirlce, from one slum to another, halfway aroind the world. Was this really what she wanted? To drift from gang to gang, endlessly spinning her wheels for the whims of someone else? No, she decided, she didn't one that anymore. She had almost two decades of experience under her belt, and a team of Pokémon that wasn't half bad. She'd go legit, finally make something of herself, and the battledome looked like the perfect place to start.

Avery is a determined young trainer with a
fascination for space. She grew up in the
bustling city of Rustboro in Hoenn, both her
parents worked at the Devon Corporation,
where the stars were often obscured by the
city's lights. Her love for space was fueled by
late-night documentaries and science fiction
novels. Many days, she could be found at the
pokemon trainers school's library, reading their
books and practicing for the future with her
first pokemon, Nebula, who was just a swablu
back then. Avery is curious, determined, and
fiercely independent. She has a natural
competitive spirit, always striving to be the
best in whatever she sets her mind to. While
confident in her abilities, Avery is also humble,
aware that there's always more to learn. She
believes that just as the universe is vast and
full of possibilities, so too are the paths she
can take in life.
