personality. damien is a charming, well-spoken man; it's no wonder that he has
ended up as captain of the guard. with a very realistic outlook, he proves to be a
rather good strategist and leader of men, and can be very resourceful when the t
ime comes. that said, damien is a bit nervous, always fidgeting and often finding
himself wondering how secure his roles in life are.
history. damien was born a werewolf to a mother and father who were a barmaid
and mason respectively. damien always strived to be something more, and traine
d to be a soldier before he was even old enough to join. when he was, he joined
the guard, climbing to the rank of captain after years of proving himself. despite
its relative normalcy to him, he always feels nervous about being a werewolf in a
world of humans. damien finally feels happy about his position in life, and doesn't

History: Bennet had your typical royal upbringing, even if he didn't retain much of the things he deemed uninteresting. What interested him more was becoming a knight, learning archery, and sneaking out of the castle grounds to play with other kids. Eventually these habits would transfer when he came of age. Going to the taverns to enjoy himself and get into fights he most certainly did not play a role in starting. Let's just say he wasn't the King's favorite son, especially when he was discovered in bed with another man. Not that his fathers scorn was ever one to change how he went about living. No, the King was more the type to pretend it wasn't happening until it was right in front of him, then tell Bennett how he'd never become King if he kept this up. Not that Bennett had any interest in becoming King, he hardly had interest in being a Prince, but it was convenient.

These days he nearly spends more time outside the castle than in, to the displeasure of well...just about everyone. Retainers and guards posted to protect and prevent this in particular.

Personality: Bennet is very much a free spirit, more likely to do what he enjoys with a carefree attitude rather than do what's expected of him. Not one to bend to social status easily, this has gotten him in trouble on many occasions. Many people he comes across don't realize he's of royal birth at first glance considering he doesn't exactly act like he is, but there are those who see right through him. Ben's an honest man with a good heart who wears his heart on his sleeve, you just might not always think so when you're on the other end of his sarcastic remarks. The Prince cares deeply for those closest to him and would do almost anything for them, he's loyal to a fault. He's reckless and impulsive but that's never changed despite many trying.

Moriah was born in between two worlds, although because of such an occurrence, her life was riddled with misery. Her father was a royal among her home country, and her mother was a lowly servant. Her father did not want her, and her mother could not take her... so, Moriah, when she was a wee babe, was put within an orphanage.
Within the orphanage, Moriah was forced to grow up quickly, thanks to the orphanages work system. Once children were of proper age, they were hired to do small jobs about various places to pay for their accommodations. Moriah, by the time she was twelve, had done all sorts of odd and end jobs. She had picked rock in farmer's fields, cleaned various small businesses, tended to farm animals, helped harvest crops, and so on an so forth. As she grew older and continued to work, she became a jack of all trades. She could do just about anything as long as she was given the tools to do so.
When she had turned sixteen she was still within the orphanage, and ultimately booted out since she was, in the current standards, able to fend for herself. She went out into the world and continued to find odd and end jobs, despite the rather low amount she had often got for her work. She lived in various barns when she wasn't working, living with the animals within them... Although she was always booted out after some time.
Eventually, some years later, she had run out of money and could no longer find any jobs that would take her. She was living off of whatever she could find on the streets at that point and it was getting harder and harder to cope with. When on her last legs, she opted to go overseas via a smuggler's ship, to try and find a better life for herself across the open ocean. It brought her to the kingdom of Fordaemdur, and she felt the weight of her previous kingdom lift off her shoulders... although a new weight was placed upon them as she was soon found to have traveled illegally and was placed in the local prison.
She did a little time before she opted to do community service for her time, and was ultimately placed within the castle to do the work of a domestic servant. She did her work happily, and proceeded to work through her time. Once her time was done, she begged to remain working within the castle, only asking for food and shelter as payment, for she didn't want to go back out and possibly fall to poverty and cold nights once more. Miraculously she was accepted into the occupation, and has since remained a domestic servant within the Fordaemdur castle.
She keeps to herself these days, focusing on her job than much else... although if spoken to, she will easily speak her mind, not really bothering when it comes to just who she's talking to. Nevertheless, she's pretty quiet otherwise, invisible in larger crowds and more content to just enjoy what she's got for now. Who knows how long this will last.

~ 𝕿𝖗𝖎𝖛𝖎𝖆 ~
♞ She'd love a pet companion of some sort, though is concerned of how she'd even care for it when she's so busy so often.
♞ Cooking and baking has become something of a hobby. She does so often, usually at night when the kitchen's not in use.
♞ Likes to borrow from the library often, and is trying to learn as much as she can, just in case she'd need it.
♞ While not versed in most weaponry, she can properly wield and use a bow and arrow.
♞ Despite not having a proper pet companion, she still manages to make friends with the pigeons that she finds around the castle. They know her well enough that they'll come to her room when her window is open. Most of them have names.

The Kingdom of Fordeamdur

His Majesty, Sir Ronan Fenn
"You're a lot kinder than I thought ye'd be."
Moriah had, honestly, thought that the
new king would be much like the one
from her home country. Ronan is a lot
kinder... she respects him for that, and
is grateful for his compassion in allowing
her to stay and work within the castle. She
hopes that he will be a great ruler.

His Highness, Sir Bennet Fenn
"What a waste of time and energy."
The domestic servant thinks that the younger
prince could be doing a lot more with his time
than brawling in the local bars... She sees such
works as a waste... honestly, some people.

Her Highness, Madame Edelheide Fenn
"I am forever in your debt, your highness."
The princess was so kind as to help Moriah keep
her servant-hood after her sentence was complete,
therefore the servant is immensely appreciative of
such actions. She is willing to help Heidi in any way
she can when needed, and will not ask questions
later. She also enjoys Heidi's kindness and admires
the princess's intelligence and diplomacy.

Master Caine Mallory
"I have yet to meet a kind wolf, Mister Mallory."
Moriah tends to feel bad upon seeing Sir Caine
when he wanders the halls. She had heard, through
various maids, what had happened to the man. While
she cannot sympathize with him, since she has never
experienced anything like he has, she still wishes that
such a plight never happened to him... She's been
sending him a few little goodies his way, after seeing
how much he appears to like food.

Sir Leon Hilith
"I'd like to get to know ye better one day."
Because of his guard position, Moriah doesn't
see Leon much, unless he's guarding inside of
the Fordeamdur castle, at which case she will
greet him before leaving themselves to return
to their respective jobs. She appreciates the
title in which he holds, for she knows that she,
herself, would have a hard time keeping such a
position, and also appreciates the protection he
and the rest of the guard population provides.

Sir Christopher Belmont Jr. (new)
"Haven't I seen you before?"
For whatever reason, Moriah can't help but
experience the odd feeling of deja vu when she
lays eyes upon Sir Belmont. Part of her wonders
if she has potentially seen him elsewhere before,
thought she cannot really remember where.
Perhaps back in her home country? Or maybe
just within the streets of Fordaemdur.
Nevertheless, she wouldn't mind getting to
know him properly one day.

The Wolves of Fordaemdur

Sir Tarner Eathe
"You're so full of yourself, there's no room for
much else."
Moriah hasn't really gotten to know Tarner
all that much but she's seen him interact with
others and has a distaste for the way he carries
himself. The proud and arrogant are the hardest
to keep company with. She avoids the man when
able, finding his presence uncomforting.

Sir Arlo Eathe
"K-Keep yer flirtin' to yourself!"
The domestic servant has never really been flirted
to before, what with how she lived and looked in her
home country... so when Arlo is around and causing
ruckus, she doesn't know how to take it, and isn't
sure she likes it. Other times, she's overwhelmed
and uncertain of just what he looking to obtain
from such antics.

Miss Sersha Eathe
"You're a popular one, aren't ye?"
Moriah has seen Miss Sersha in her ranks
and she's seen that the woman is quite lively
and likes to make others laugh. While Moriah
likes seeing Sersha's antics from afar, something
about the scout makes Moriah uneasy, thus the maid
never appears to stick around for very long.

Captain Damien Drake
"I look forward to our chats."
Because of her position, Moriah doesn't get to
see the captain of the guard too often, at least
when they are both working. When work is slow,
she often catches Captain Drake wandering and
the two end up chatting. She has quite a bit of
respect for him, both as the captain of the guard
and as a friend. She hopes to get to know him
more as the days go on.

Miss Svala Holt
"It's almost like you prefer pushing people away."
Miss Svala's personality causes Moriah to, mostly,
shrivel back and hide within the crowd rather than
confront the woman. If the smith would much
rather push people away, then it shall be so.

Master Cian Ruane
"I hear the names they call you, but
who do you say ye are?"
Finding the man rather intimidating, and rightfully
so, Moriah keeps a bit of distance between
herself and the Master-at-arms. That, and she
doesn't see him too much anyway, considering
their ranks. Part of her wonders, however,
if there is more to him than meets the eye.

Sir Jason Mormont
"Yer quite kind for a blacksmith."
Of the two blacksmiths, Moriah finds Jason
much more pleasant. Unfortunately, she's
only met him once. Perhaps, one day, she
can have a chance to run into him and have
a proper chat.

Madame Freyja Payne
"You're so kind, and so good at what you do."
Moriah enjoys very much the company of Freyja
and will often see if she's around to chat when
a maid's work is done. She admires Freyja's
amazing intelligence and her ability to remain
practical, something Moriah would have a hard
time doing if she were in Freyja's shoes.

Sir Gehuil Asenah (new)
"Yer not from around these parts, hmm?"
It's hard not to notice the man that appears once
in a while in such a unique looking robe, and Moriah
has caught glimpses of the man when she's found herself
doing errands outside of the castle. She hasn't formally
met the man yet, but she is mildly curious as to who he
is and where he has come from.

Cian was born as the illegitimate son of a local nobleman and a
servant, but in order to hide his son's origin, the nobleman ha
d Cian's biological mother sent away, out of the kingdom, neve
r to be heard from again. The servant had been a werewolf, a
nd Cian's father was aware of this, and when he was born with
the same condition, the nobleman was keen to raise a strong s
on who could go on to be a revered warrior and bring honor t
o the Ruane name. However, his father had no desire to forfei
t Cian to barbarity and the pull of the wilds, and so from an e
arly age, Cian was ingrained with a visceral loathing toward o
thers of his kind, and a belief that most of them are feral bea
sts without control, better off dead and unable to further spr
ead their affliction. Although Cian went on to be raised as one
of the legitimate children of the noble couple, no one could st
op the whispers about his dark hair and brown eyes where his
parents and siblings were bronze-haired and green-eyed, and
even if Cian has never had any delusions about his blood, it in
spired a disdain toward the common people and their gossip.

And after Cian finished his schooling and was appointed to be
the master-at-arms of Fordaemdur, sworn to enforce the law
s of the kingdom and approaching this duty rather dogmatica
lly, the commoners seemed to begin returning his disdain, an
d although he is known as Master Ruane, most of the names u
sed for him behind his back are rather derogatory. When Cia
n is not investigating crimes or working to deter mundane th
reats against the kingdom and its people, he hunts his own ki
nd. His loathing is deep and if he is given the opportunity, he
will kill on sight. Stragglers, ones without the protection of a
pack, are known to go missing after his inquisitions, and no
wolf's truly safe once he becomes aware of their existence. ─
Although Cian does not conduct himself as someone who is arr
ogant and he'll not boast, he does harbour a certain hubris a
bout his status and difference from other werewolves. He is
rather intimidating, forceful, and doesn't hide his viciousness.
