Miles is aloof, kooky, and kind of an outsider amongst his Beornen piers. That isn't to say he is disliked, he is actually well respected for his work as Ritual Runner. His work seems to come very easliy to him, almost too easy. When not participating in rituals and activities, you can usually find him nose in a book studying everything he can. He's not really friendly to others, and has a bit of a flat affect when speaking. He isn't outright rude, but he isn't the best conversationalist. Unless you mention something he's interested in, then his eyes light up and he just can't stop talking.

Miles comes from a long lineage of Beornen members, and it has been expected of him ever since he was born that he would one day take his grandfather's place as Ritual Runner. Thus, he's been training ever since he was around 13 years of age. Four years ago, his grandfather succumbed to illness, and thus he took the role of Ritual runner at the age of 20 years old. He's always been fascinatated with the world outside of Beornen, but his family have always scolded him and shunned him from it. He soaks up knowledge like a sponge, and is constantly looking for new information to devour.

Do you think we can advertise it a bit on the advertisement thread? It seems like it's going to be amazing, and I hate seeing that it's not being overly populated as a WoF or Warrior cats roleplay would be.

Appearance: Stands at 5'6", with a runner's build. Long, straight black hair that reaches around mid back when loose. Tends towards colorful outfits and subtle jewelry. Pronounced Brazilian accent.

Personality: Cesar is a good-humored type. Maybe too much, sometimes - it's hard to get him to take things seriously, no matter the situation. Considers the truth secondary to a good story. Does it really matter if some of the things he sells aren't as cursed as he says they are? Does it matter if the tale spun around the item makes for such a fun talking point in parties? Has a keen mind and a good memory. Considers his greatest asset to be his ability to keep up with others, and find out who needs what; most importantly, how much they want it, and what they're willing to pay for it. He's competitive, although also is willing to admit defeat easily enough. He's transitioned early and has long since become comfortable with himself, especially now that he can consistently be recognized as male for all that he also has a flashy style.


Short Bio: Kenta - or as he's known in the artifact trade business, Cesar - is a Brazilian immigrant that's been living in America for around five years. With a bachelor's degree in business administration, he had a side business in trading in antiques and trawling auction houses for interesting items. It was mostly a hobby, until he ended up the owner of a genuinely haunted item; a cursed dagger, supposedly adquired from Egypt. After a month of blood leaking from the walls and other strange occurrences that stopped as soon as he managed to sell it onwards, Cesar started digging into things and slowly becoming more interested in the business of haunted paraphernalia. As he started to get involved in the area of trading for relics that had at least some truth to its supposed magic properties, he noticed that it was a markedly more profitable area. He trades online under the nickname Caesar Cipher.

Other: Chronic nicknamer. Surprisingly athletic. Knows how to pick locks, for... 'career-related' reasons.

It's about midday in the roleplay.
Researchers can be just arriving or already arrived, and Beornen can be at their settlement in the Forest or in Ashenthorne!
