Bentley has long brown hair that reaches his upper back and sharp pear-green eyes. He is usually found wearing a scarf and pullover knitted sweater, often with pyjama pants. His hair is often messy and he has constant bags under his eyes. He usually wears fingerless gloves, not for any practical reason, but he thinks they're comfy.

Bentley was diagnosed with clinical depression when he was 19. He's slowly but surely recovering. He has big mood swings and typically doesn't care for himself. His grandmother raised him and she used to run the gym, which is styled after a garden, but she died when he was 17, leaving him to inherit it. He tries his best to keep it functioning but sometimes just... can't. It's no surprise when he shuts down the gym for a couple days so he can take care of himself for a while. He tries to show his affection for the Pokemon who live in the garden, but barely being able to care for himself makes it tough. The garden just seems a lot emptier as Pokemon have left the area due to seasonal neglect. He's trying, though, and he's getting better.

‘ice prince’ (a nickname he abhors

appearance: svein has viridian green eyes with long cat-like eyelashes (that he very carefully and meticulously maintains, mind you), and short off-white, very light blue hair with longer side bangs that frame his face. although his slim figure and average height don’t do much for him, svein’s charming face, accompanied by his elegant but stern countenance, demands attention.

his full team consists of his politoed (ability: drizzle | item: damp rock), toxapex (ability: regenerator | item: leftovers), lanturn (ability: volt absorb | item: choice specs), ludicolo (ability: rain dish | item: weakness policy), kabutops (ability: swift swim | item: life orb), and his main partner, gyarados (ability: intimidate | item: gyaradosite), the latter of whom he can mega evolve. in most gym battles, he uses his politoed, kabutops, and gyarados, saving his full team for only certain occasions. needless to say, his strategy consists of washing his opponents away with a powerful deluge of rain, hurricane, and thunder.

dio tends to be self-righteous and
arrogant, though his confidence is not
exactly misplaced. he knows what he's
good at and he's not afraid to flaunt it.
despite that, he is always striving to do
better, and he believes that stagnation
leads to laziness. to that end, he spends
a lot of his time training both himself
and his pokémon. he tends to take things
too seriously and generally misses the
joke, and the easiest way to strike a nerve
is by comparing his achievements to his
older brother; he's gone to great lengths to
