The Kingdom of Fordeamdur

His Majesty, Sir Ronan Fenn
"You're a lot kinder than I thought ye'd be."
Moriah had, honestly, thought that the
new king would be much like the one
from her home country. Ronan is a lot
kinder... she respects him for that, and
is grateful for his compassion in allowing
her to stay and work within the castle. She
hopes that he will be a great ruler.

His Highness, Sir Bennet Fenn
"What a waste of time and energy."
The domestic servant thinks that the younger
prince could be doing a lot more with his time
than brawling in the local bars... She sees such
works as a waste... honestly, some people.

Madame Avalon Smith
"I often wonder what I did for you to notice me."
Avalon is, what Moriah often says to herself,
her first ever friend. She always looks forward
to the company and time that the two get to
spend with each other. She likes to make sure
Avalon has some time to herself and often surprises
her with little gifts, most often in the form
of food or little crafts. She hopes that their friendship
will continue to last for years to come.

Sir Caine Mallory
"I have yet to meet a kind wolf, Mister Mallory."
Moriah tends to feel bad upon seeing Sir Caine
when he wanders the halls. She had heard, through
various maids, what had happened to the man. While
she cannot sympathize with him, she still wishes that
such a plight never happened to him... She's been trying
to send him a few little goodies his way, after seeing
how much he appears to like food.

Mister Ramses Prescott
"Takes a lot of brain to teach birds what to do."
Moriah has seen Ramses from time to him and
tends to enjoy seeing what he does. She can only
wonder how he could manage to train birds.
nevertheless, she hopes he finds consistent
work someday.

The Wolves of Fordaemdur

Sir Tarner Eathe
"You're so full of yourself, there's no room for much else."
Moriah hasn't really gotten to know Tarner
all that much but she's seen him interact with
others and has a distaste for the way he carries
himself. The proud and arrogant are the hardest
to keep company with. She avoids the man when
able, finding his presence uncomforting.

Sir Arlo Eathe
"K-Keep yer flirtin' to yourself!"
The domestic servant has never really been flirted
to before, what with how she lived and looked in her
home country... so when Arlo is around and causing
ruckus, she doesn't know how to take it, and isn't
sure she likes it. Other times, she's overwhelmed
and uncertain of just what he looking to obtain from such
antics.

Miss Svala Holt
"It's almost like you prefer pushing people away."
Miss Svala's personality causes Moriah to, mostly,
shrivel back and hide within the crowd rather than
confronting the woman. If the smith would much
rather push people away, then it shall be so.

Miss Sersha Eathe
"You're a popular one, aren't ye?"
Moriah has seen Miss Sersha in her ranks
and she's seen that the woman is quite lively
and likes to make others laugh. While Moriah
likes seeing Sersha's antics from afar, something
about the scout makes Moriah uneasy, thus the maid
never appears to stick around for very long.

Personality: Bennet is very much a free spirit, more likely to do what he enjoys with a carefree attitude rather than do what's expected of him. Not one to bend to social status easily, this has gotten him in trouble on many occasions. Many people he comes across don't realize he's of royal birth at first glance considering he doesn't exactly act like he is, but there are those who see right through him. Ben's an honest man with a good heart who wears his heart on his sleeve, you just might not always think so when you're on the other end of his sarcastic remarks. The Prince cares deeply for those closest to him and would do almost anything for them, he's loyal to a fault. He's reckless and impulsive but that's never changed despite many trying.

History: Bennet had your typical royal upbringing, even if he didn't retain much of the things he deemed uninteresting. What interested him more was becoming a knight, learning archery, and sneaking out of the castle grounds to play with other kids. Eventually these habits would transfer when he came of age. Going to the taverns to enjoy himself and get into fights he most certainly did not play a role in starting. Let's just say he wasn't the King's favorite son, especially when he was discovered in bed with another man. Not that his fathers scorn was ever one to change how he went about living. No, the King was more the type to pretend it wasn't happening until it was right in front of him, then tell Bennett how he'd never become King if he kept this up. Not that Bennett had any interest in becoming King, he hardly had interest in being a Prince, but it was convenient.

These days he nearly spends more time outside the castle than in, to the displeasure of well...just about everyone. Retainers and guards posted to protect and prevent this in particular.

Ronan Fenn (♞) ~ "It's complicated." Ronan and Bennet are not nearly as close as they once were. Over time they grew apart, but deep down they are still brothers at heart.
Ramses Brescott (❖) ~ "Bird boy right?" Bennet's seen Ramses around a few times, or so he believes. But they haven't really spoken.
Moriah O'Malley (❖✖) ~ "You don't particularly like me, do you?" Moriah has never shown any outward dislike for him but Ben never felt at ease when speaking with her. Also, he's pretty sure she's ratted him out to the guards a number of times over the years, though he has no proof. But he's always up for a challenge.
Avalon Smith (✔) ~ "You're not so bad yourself." The Master of Horse is someone he was surprised to find commonly drinking in local taverns. Even more so was that she gave a good walloping when things got exciting. He respects and trusts the woman, and finds himself enjoying her company.
Caine Mallory (✔) ~ "I'd fight anyone I had to if it meant giving you your arm back." The two have been friends since they were kids. He trusts Caine far more than he trusts most people. Caine's injury changed much for him but Ben never saw him any differently.

Tarner Eathe (❖) ~ "Can't quite put my finger on it."The two haven't spoken much one on one beyond business but Bennet feels they'd get along. Despite this there's something about Tarner that makes him just a hint of uneasy.
Arlo Eathe (✔) ~ "An interesting one to say the least." Arlo is someone Ben gets along with for the simple fact that they have many similarities. He tries not to upset the hunter as he's seen him angry before. The two take up a healthy archery competition with one another from time to time.

Svala Holt (✔) ~ "Craftsmanship like few others." More newly acquainted friends, when she'd helped him with his short-sword. Ava's parents are farmers in the countryside, so she quickly got to know her way around animals on the farm. Her favorites were always the horses, because they were so intelligent. She also loved that when she rode them, it sometimes felt like she was flying. When she was twenty, she heard that the king had an opening for Master of Horse at the castle, and she knew that she had to try her hand at the position if they would let her. When she first arrived, many of the men who were also vying for the position mocked her, asking how a small woman like her expected to be able to break a difficult horse. It did not take long for her to prove herself worthy of the position though, and the job was soon hers. When she isn't working, she can often be found at the pub enjoying a meal, a drink, and a game.

Ronan Fenn [☆↥]

Avalon holds King Ronan in high regard and has a great
deal of respect for him. She trusts him as her leader and is grateful
for the respect he gives her as master of horse, though at times she
worries about his naivete. She would go to great lengths to protect
him, not only because he is her king, but because he gave her a
chance.

Bennet Fenn [☆↥]

Avalon is quite familiar with Prince Bennet's mischievious
endeavors, given that she's the one who must look after his
horse and can see when it has been tired out. She has also
been in some of the pubs where he has gotten in fights, and
thinks he is rather entertaining. She views him as an ally just
as much as she views his brother as one, and respects him
a great deal, even if she does worry that he may not take
enough responsibility.

Moriah O'Malley [➤]

Avalon is very fond of Moriah. They have known each other
for quite some time (given that they both work in the castle), and
Avalon has always tried to make sure that her friend stays well
amidst all the busyness of her job. She views Moriah as highly
dependable and trustworthy, and greatly enjoys the opinions
she does not hesitate to voice.

Caine Mallory [☾↥]

Avalon feels a little bit bad for Caine. She knows that
his past wounds trouble him, and sometimes worries for his
well-being. She has a great deal of respect for him and his
relationship with the dogs in the castle kennels, and
appreciates his care for them. He is a reassuring presence
in her opinion because of his patience.

Ramses Brescott [☾↥]

Avalon has only met Ramses a handful of times, but she
thinks he is quite sweet. She feels a kind of kinship with him because
she knows how it feels to have a special relationship with animals, and
because of their similar upbringings.

Seraphina Wilde [☾]

Ava has only seen Seraphina a few times, usually from a distance.
She is intrigued by the myterious woman and wonders if there could be
any truth to the rumors that she is a witch. Then again, it could just be
superstitious men being afraid of any willful woman.

Eskil Thorson [☾]

Ava rarely interacts with Eskil, but has observed the young man
from a distance. She senses a deep uneasiness in him, and wonders how
stable and loyal he is.

Nikolias Bentham [☾↥]

Ava thinks that Nikolias is a sweet man, but does not know
him well. She enjoys the times she does see him, and always walks
away with a greater sense of peace.

Jax Mcintosh [☾↧]

Ava doesn't know how to feel about Jax. His personality
seemsa very mixed bag, and she does not quite trust him.

Charlotte Fenn [☆↥]

Ava is fond of Charlotte. Though she is a bit more
hot-headed than her siblings, she can excuse it given that
she grew up with twodifficult brothers. She enjoys it very
much when she comes to visit her in the stables, and can
see that the young woman has a keen determination about
her.

Tarner Eathe [☾↧]

Avalon has her doubts about Tarner Eathe. She has only met
him a few times and respects his charm and ability to persuade even
some of the most stubborn people, but there is something about him
that makes her feel uneasy. She can't quite put her finger on it,
though.

Arlo Eathe [➤]

Avalon considers Arlo a friend, even though she does not
fully trust his brother. Her interactions with him have always been
warm and (usually) entertaining, given that he's such a flirt. They do
not typically spend time together, but she looks forward to the times
she runs into him at the market.

Sersha Eathe[☾]

Avalon has only seen Sersha a handful of times, typically from
a distance. She enjoys her laughter and the lightness she brings to
situations though, and even though she views her as a little bit of a
wild card, she does not distrust her.

Svala Holt [☾]

Avalon knows very little of Svala, even though they interact
often enough since she is her main supplier of horse shoes. She
respects Svala as a fellow woman in a typically male profession, but
she does not like the way she treats other people. She knows there
must be more to her, but there is a twinge of fear that she can't
quite get over when it comes to her (though she would never show it.)

Ivor Archibald [☾]

Avalon does not know Ivor very well, and does not have any
particularly strong feelings about him at this point. He seems to
be a good man, though a bit cocky for her taste.

Freyja Payne [☾↥]

The only times Ava really interacts with Freyja are when she
needs some sort of medicinal poultice or other cure for the horses that
she herself can't make. She respects the woman's obvious gift for
medicine and the vast amount of knowledge she retains, but does not
know much about her other than that. She has heard some rumors of a
strong will though, and she thinks she would get along with her well
under the correct circumstances.

Damien Drake [☾✵]

Ava respects Damien for his strategic mind and finds him incredibly
charming, both when he is confident and when he's nervous. The fact that
she finds him good-looking probably helps with that aspect, but even if he
was less 'easy on the eyes' she thinks she would want to befriend him. She's
developed a bit of a crush on him from afar.

Cordovia Eathe [☾↧]

Ava does not trust Cordovia much. She is a bit too
mercurial for her taste, and she dislikes her temper. She has seen her
kind side, and it has helped soften her opinion, but she does not see
the woman as reliable in any sense of the word.
