For better or worse, Edith escaped the fate so many inhumans succumbed to: she never found her
way into the school system. Being thrown to the wolves from an early age taught her a quick and
valuable lesson: the world was never going to deal her a fair deck, and she'd either have to adjust
to the cards she had or lose the game. Edith came into her own as a street kid in shady Chicago
backstreets and dimly lit catacomb holes. Stubbornly defying fate and the authorities, she instead
started to run with a gang of other nobodies and no goods. Scum, street kids -- so many names for
them, and none of them good. Gang life was violent, a dog eats dog kind of world, and often times
she'd find herself on the ground beaten black and blue, sporting cracked knuckles and a bruised ego.
Other times, she was the one coming out of a fight on top. When the world was unkind, she respond
ed with hardening herself. If she was going down, it was on her own terms, spitting blood or not at all.

But such unstable life could never last indefinitely, and oftentimes those placed on pedestals don't
necessarily deserve them. She wasn't betrayed, not necessarily, but the choice between staying or
leaving was never hers to make, and she took the fall out of consequences that weren't necessarily
results of her own actions. Alone on the streets, she turned to the rebellion instead, finding a home
with those misfit souls so similar to her own and a cause worth fighting for.

The base's explosion cost her dearly, and her drive for retribution has only increased.

Sienna was just two years old when her brother was taken. A memory she didn't retain, but it set the precedent for the desperate eff
orts her parents undertook to save her. Efforts which were ultimately unsuccessful, because four years later she fell to the same fate.
Absorbed into a system with no shortage of use for one possessing her unique abilities, she excelled in her classes. Even before she
came of age, it had been decided for her that she was to walk a less conventional path than most. Trained as an operative of a secret
high level sector of Taskforce 117, Sie worked under the code name Ghost on tasks primarily focusing on elimination of targets. An
assassin, and a good one at that.

It was ironic, really. A brother who had never given up on finding her, but ultimately it was her who came to him. Sent to gather info
rmation on flagged rebel activity, her brother unknowingly became her next target. Whether by luck or something else, Cairo was
able to successfully break her out of her conditioning. She joined him in the rebellion soon afterwards on the condition she could
have top bunk in the dorms. He didn't let, but she came regardless. It didn't take long for Sienna to find her place in the rebellion as
one of their mentors. She'd always been a prodigy at violence, and the rebellion will always need trained soldiers.

It's rather difficult to explain away a flock of pink and blue butterflies following a five year old everywhere she went as 'normal', so it
really isn't a surprise that she found herself on taskforce's radar early. One of her earliest memories is being led by the hand into the
backseat of a black car, curiously watching her childhood home retreat in the distance - lost to her forever. Maybe she had siblings.
She thinks she does, but faces are blurred, and she doesn't think too hard about it, because there'll always be many more curiosities

How does one tell how deep the waters go, if the depths
