Once we get a doctor and a couple more general members we should be ready to start! If you know anyone who might be interested in the rp I'd appreciate if you can let them know. No pressure though!

I wanted your opinion on something for the rp. Do you guys want our characters to meet and make the group during the roleplay? Or would you like all the characters to already know each other? Personally I think I'd be interesting to write out the characters meeting, forming the group, have Grayson assign the roles, and finding a base. But this roleplay is mine just as much as it is yours so I wanna know your thoughts :)

appearance, Kiren is 6'0, with a slim build that hides his ability to run for days without sleep. He has light blue eyes and thick brown hair, worn short and brushed away from his face and forehead. The only time you'll see him with any sort of stubble on his chin is when he's extremely stressed and doesn't have the time to maintain his appearance. Fashion is a very low priority for him, and he generally wears whatever he finds comfortable, resulting in him cycling through the same shirts and jeans. (fc: Liam Hemsworth)

history, Kiren had a pharmacist for a mother and a doctor for a father, and as such grew up learning about medicine and the human body. He himself was interested in the medical field, and was in the middle of a degree when the outbreak occurred. He was forbidden from attempting to help by his parents, and as such barricaded himself in the house to avoid contracting the virus, but eventually left when it was clear that he had lost his parents to the disease. He's very distraught over the apocalypse, though it doesn't show often, and 'what ifs' plague his thoughts constantly. What if he had tried to help? Would a cure be found faster? Sure, he wasn't officially qualified, but he knew a lot from his parents. Even if a cure wasn't found, maybe life wouldn't be the way it is now. Maybe his parents would still be here. If only...

personality, Kiren is very extroverted, and enjoys small talk with classmates and patients. He does his best to be optimistic and cheerful, even if the situation is dire. It is clear he loves to help people, and this desire is still present with greater intensity post-virus. Every life is more important now, and he will go above and beyond to save a life, even if he suffered because of it. As someone who was once learning to be a doctor, he feels the pressure to save lives intensely, and couldn't imagine what he would do if someone died because he failed to do his job. This can result in him overworking himself to achieve, and when he's in this mindset, it would take a miracle (or some very sound logic) for him to be persuaded to take a break, or give up. He is also good at thinking on his feet and finding alternative uses for an object, a skill that has proven invaluable in this new world he found himself in.

power/relationship with animal, Kiren was very surprised to find an animal that matched his mark, much less a horse. He had never interacted with horses before, and as such was very cautious around her, but the two bonded quickly and became good friends. With practice and trust, he is now able to ride her well despite lacking any equipment (she was likely a wild horse before all this), though he hopes to find a saddle or make one somehow. Horses also have a much better sense of smell than even dogs, a fact he discovered recently, though it made sense as his endurance was linked to her as well. The two often roam around searching for medicinal herbs, or traveling long distances to find more modern and specialised medicines.

Kiren is impressed by Grayson's ability to think strategically even when
he isn't in the best of conditions, considering their first meeting. He is
clearly someone who puts his group members first, and has something
about him that draws people together. They may not know each other
well yet, but Kiren wouldn't mind following someone like him.

Kiren's first impression of Silver was someone that pushed herself too
much and got injured, and so far that image has not been dispelled.
Even if her face is hard to read, her actions are not, and he can tell
there is someone compassionate underneath it all, although he can't
approve of how careless she is with herself.

Aisha is someone he finds easy to talk to, and he both understands
and appreciates her desire to have as many things as possible, all while
being generous with what she had. Her cheerful and friendly nature
with everyone in the group makes him think she functions as the glue
that holds them all together.
[ ⬌ ] Rikimaru Renegade - 2nd in command
Kiren didn't know what to think of Riki when they suddenly appeared at
Jackson's camp. But the fact that they did not use the chance to attack,
and that Aisha and Jackson had faith in them, meant they were friendly.
They appear to be the quiet type, but from the car bomb distraction
he knew they can be depended on in a crisis.

Kiren appreciates his carefree nature, glad there is someone who could
consistently lift people's spirits. There wouldn't be much of a group if
the mood is always dark, in his opinion. He hasn't talked much with
the fighter, but he feels that the other man is very reliable.
