owlwatcher was born into sageclan, and had a pretty normal kit-hood from the beg
inning. the tom only knew the loving mother and siblings he had, though after the
loss of one of his litter-mates, the family grew distant. during apprentice-hood the
tom lost another during a patrol, which made him quite clingy to the rest of his re
maining family. he grew quite protective of them, though they never really showe
d him the same affection he showed for them. that was his mentor badgertooth. h
e grew close to the tom, treating him as the father in his life he had never had. so
meone to lean on during the bad times and someone to have fun with. sadly, short
ly after becoming a warrior the elderly tom died and he's been a little lost since.

the first sounds of the world were of her mother's coughing and wheezing, introduc
ed to illness as a first. her father brought her to the clan along with her litter-mat
es, and ill mother. that's when she first learned about starclan. she believed those
mysterious beings would heal her mother, but she died during leaf-bare. during ap
prentice-hood her brother was killed by a badger, during a patrol. her last litter-m
ate claimed by illness like her mother. the only one who stuck by her side was her
father, however before she became a warrior he was severely injured, though pro
mised her he wouldn't join the stars. he did so the night of her warrior ceremony.
thus she doesn't see the big deal, starclan has only brought her pain and sadness.

flarepaw doesn't really know a lot about her past, besides the fact she was born an
outsider. flarepaw originally was a kittypet, before she escaped into the wild at a
young age. the she-cat was found by a patrol, and was taken into the clan and the
young she-cat was all too happy to leave her boring old kittypet life. however, as t
ime passed she became quite lazy regarding her duties, often bickering with her m
entor and receiving the occasional punishment. as she grew older though she bega
n to treat apprentice-hood as a challenge, and thus has become the fierce little s
pitfire she is known as today. she still has that independent and defiant nature, b
ut hopes to prove herself to the clan and become the warrior she dreams of being.

Rookfang could be a posterboy for the classic warrior. Strong, fit, brave, and often found looking dramatically into the sunset, Rookfang is pretty much everything you expect from a cat whose role is to protect and serve his clan. He's remarkably confident in himself, and dead loyal to his clanmates. He's a planner, and a leader in troubled times. But... get on Rookfang's bad side and you'll find he's not the golden boy he seems. He has a fiery temper that can be stoked with a few ill-considered words, and one wrong move can find you on the end of a moons-long grudge. He can be stubborn and unfair, immovable in his opinions even if he can see he's wrong. He flares up defensively when criticised and while it's often easier to persuade him when he's calm, it's all too easy for him to find something worth getting riled up about. Despite his bristling exterior, he's a softy at heart and generally just wants the best for everyone. He's a true friend and loyal companion, and in the quiet moments he's an affectionate confidant. Not perfect... but he's trying.

Maplefoot has retained all the enthusiasm of a newly-made warrior when it comes to her warrior duties. She routinely volunteers for patrols - especially dawn patrols - and gets restless without a task. She seems to constantly have energy; the only time it leaves her is when she is faced with failure, which is something she hasn't learned to take in her stride yet. Maplefoot's energy and over-the-top enthusiasm can be contagious to some, but to others it's simply irritating and unnecessary. She also tends to be extremely talkative and rambles quite a bit. The she-cat's playful nature does allow her to get along quite well with kits and apprentices, as she is always happy to join in whatever games they play. While Maplefoot's excitable personality is almost always on display, she is quite capable of being serious when the need arises.

Maplefoot's mother, Dappletail, went missing a few moons ago. Her father Tansystripe succumbed to greencough in the leaf-bare, not helped by his grief over his mate. Having been stripped of both her parents in such a short time, Maplefoot is still struggling with her grief, although her normal bright personality is just starting to show through again as newleaf blooms around the clan.
