queen naomi, well, she isn't an orthodox queen. she really tries to
give off the royal impression, but somehow she just comes across
as a little intimidating and hostile. however, those who know her
know that she is actually just like a regular civilian. she's very fond
of her sleep, and since she does so much work, she really doesn't
get much of it. because of this, you may see her sneaking in a nap
or two here and there. she doesn't hold much energy in her body
due to this new war, the stress really gets to her. she may seem
quite dazed and confused lately, but she really is qualified to be
queen, i promise. she is quite clumsy also, which can serve to be
slightly comedic, but only at the right times. naomi does have a
funny bone in her body, and she used to be not only the queen of
aya, but also the queen of puns. however, she seems to have died
off of her funny streak for the time being. there are important
matters to attend to. naomi cares for her subjects very much and
she would give her life for all of them, and more for her son.

naomi started off as a mere seamstress in era,
taking care of her mother and sister, providing
for them as much as she could. they weren't
necessarily poor, but they were far from rich.
that was until naomi met her current husband.
he was the heir to the throne and she found
her happily ever after with him. little did she
know how much it would change her life. she
was given servants, protection, lessons on
'fitting in with the royals,' and much more that
changed her small town life into a pristine one.
she was introduced to more than just her town
of era, and eventually she grasped the lifestyle
as her own. she was doing just fine, had a child
whom she loves, and she was a loving queen.
that was until these humans found their way to
the lands. she lost her spark of fun and spunk
and now she is lacking energy and secretly
scared of the downfall of aya and her family.

naomi's tail and ears are both white, and while
she only has one extremely fluffy tail, she has
the appearance of having nine tails due to this
clothing piece she wears. the fun game is trying
to figure out which tail is her real tail.

meeting ryu, you'd think he was a fox kemonomimi.
with his sly and mysterious personality, ryu can sneak
himself into any situation and slither out of it w/o a
problem. however, this white wolf kemonomimi still
proves his worth in the royal guard. he is a very gifted
fighter, always zooming in and out of view before he
gets hit by his enemies. no, ryu may not be a fantastic
swordsman, but give him weapons like his shuriken
and you'll be amazed by his skills. his stealth/speed
are his best attributes, & though his physical strength
doesn't compare to those two, he has successfully
served the royal family for five years without making
a single mistake. oh, and did i mention that he wields
magic? well, now that i have your attention, let's talk
about that. ryu has movement magic, which means he
can move any object with a single though and even
alter objects. this is half the reason he has become
such a necessity in the guard. he isn't the lead guard
by far, but he definitely has grown a bond between
himself and the queen. she is one of a few people who
knows his true self: a soft-hearted, comedic, loveable
dork. however, most don't see that side of him b/c he
wears a careless cloak of tomfoolery and deceit. even
so, he would lay his life down for the royal family.

emiko iwasaki, better known as emi to her friends, or 'the sha
dow' to her enemies, grew up as a very strong-willed individu
al. her parents were highly trained assassins, ones that began
her training at a very young age. as an only child, she was put
on a high pedestal to be the best next assassin that the family
had, and boy did she live up to that standard. someone may lo
ok at emi and see a small, weak petite girl, but boy would they
be wrong. emi may not be the strongest person in the world,
but she makes up for it with her weapon skill. twin swords we
re the first weapons she was taught how to use, which is why t
hey are her favorite, but second to those she holds a bow and
arrow close to her heart. lastly, she tends to use throwing kni
ves as a surprise attack. there are two that she keeps hidden i
n her bun, which look like normal hair pieces. emi was introdu
ced to the group when it first formed and became deputy.

for an assassin, emi is very calm and nonchalant.
you'd think as an assassin she would be quite on
edge and mysterious, and though a lot of people
don't actually know she is an assassin, as she has
left the life behind for now, she still has the skills
to prove it. she has a very manipulative side to h
er, picking up on subtleties about people and usi
ng them to her advantage. even with this in min
d, she can actually be quite sweet and inviting, so
long as no one wrongs her. something worth men
tioning is that she can use life magic. however, t
here is a catch. unlike usual life magic, emiko ca
n only use this magic with...her lips. she can only
drain energy through kissing, and same with tran
sferring energy. this is why she has heavily relied
on her weapons instead of her magic. this limit o
n her life magic keeps her from wanting to use it.
however, that small spark from her manipulative
side does get the better of herself sometimes.
