No, knights wouldn't classify as a servant. More like a guard type. I'll add some spots like that I guess.

Personality ➳
Yoska is a quiet, often jumpy young man. While not overly social, he's very polite if approached. He's just not one to go and seek attention.

Yoska has very low self esteem, especially while in the midst of other people. On his own, he does good work. He's great with animals, good at repairs, and is a hard worker. When other people come around, however, he tends to get nervous. He's more timid around larger men in particular. Otherwise, Yoska is a sweet and well mannered guy. He has a quiet voice and a laconic demeanor, would never hurt a fly.

Aside from his obvious personality flaws, his English isn't the best. He is also illiterate. He was never taught to read or write, and by this time in his life, he's too embarrassed to ask for help learning.

His native language is Romani, he isn't allowed to speak it allowed, much less to any of the royals. When he talks, he talks with an accent that is sort of hard to place. Having traveled all across the world while he was growing, he picked up speaking habits from all over the place.

Appearance ➳
When Yoska first showed up at the castle, it was recently after he'd been taken in. Shabby wasn't nearly enough of a word to describe him. He was a too-skinny, dirty, pale and sickly waif. Needless to say, he's come a long way. Yoska cleaned up well and, with proper nutrition, gained the weight that he needed. He stands at 5'10", has built up a lean muscle build, has curly brown hair, dark brown eyes, and olive skin. Yoska is of Romani descent, known to most others as gypsies, no matter how much he dislikes the term.

History ➳
Yoska was born into a large caravan of Romani travelers. His family would travel all around the lands, trading and buying goods, performing, and living as free as a person possibly could. The Romani, however, were not looked upon kindly by most. Known to be swindlers and thieves, when a caravan rolled into a town, regardless of their intent, they were met with hatred and brutality.

Over the years, the race has all but died off. Yoska's caravan was one of the last few traveling groups left. But even they couldn't escape the hatred forever. When they came into a small town outside of Wennington, they were met by a mob. The people attacked, capturing and arresting many of the caravan, while the rest fled. Yoska was among those captured, only a young boy at the time. The captives were either killed or sold into slavery. Yoska was taken in by a farmer to work on a plantation miles away from where he last saw his family.

On the farm, he worked long hours every day, with few breaks and often given little to eat. If he complained, he was beaten, or he would lose his one good meal for the day. As the years went on, Yoska learned to keep his mouth shut. He was 16 when he was discovered by one of the princesses of the Linscot family. She was there on an outing to buy a new riding horse. Yoska was the one who brought the horse out, his head held low and his eyes not meeting anyone else's. The princess took pity on the poor slave boy and demanded that he be taken to the castle to be given a better position as a royal servant.

Yoska, of course, was very surprised. He's been very grateful for his new home, and works hard to prove this. But even after three years of working at the castle, he still talks to only a handful of people there, the princess included.

If neither of the Alarian princesses want to, maybe I could switch him to Wennington and she could be the one who brought him to the castle from the farm.

Personality: Charis is a fiery Greek woman who was taken in at young age from Rome as a slave, traded to the Alarian royal family and has worked diligently for the past 30 years. A strong Greek accent and old accustoms make her odd to most royalty and the butt end of several jokes and insults, these have no affect on her. At a young age she was put in charge of the first royal baby, and ever sense has been caring for any prince or princess to come along. She sees each and every one of them as her child and couldn't be more proud of them, but she is just a maid and will never be their true mother, nor will they see her in such a way.
She is very serious about any and all work she has to do and has been known to give a sound kick to lazy servants,taking it upon herself to keep many of the other maids and servants in line. She can be cruel and cold but the mother hen in her wouldn't let any insult or harm come to the younger maids, servants and the royal children. She loves cooking and teaching the princess needlework and is horrified at the idea of them being wed off, but she is a simple maid and cant do or say anything.
Harsh and blunt to equals she has a true fire and quick temper, around her superiors though she is rather meek and quite, purely so she doesn't get in trouble for her sharp tongue.

Personality: Theo is a loud and boisterous boy who would love nothing more than to sneak away and adventure. He loves talking to the knights and hearing of their epic stories, and wishes he could train to become a knight. He will settle for hunting and war stories though. He has five dogs, 4 English Setters and 1 Crocker Spaniel. Kitt is the baby and he is working on training the young pup to hunt be the baby isn't interested. He can hunt with a falcon but doesn't like the birds and prefers his dogs and horses.
He has a strong dislike of his sisters and most girls in general and when he heard of the engagement though he would get away with not being married off. But he was wrong.
He doesn't want to marry a frail girl like his younger ( by 13 months) sister Vasilisa, because they are so close and she was so coddled he has grown to resent and avoid her.
He can be a sweet boy but it's hard to get him to show his kinder side and will be stubborn through the whole ordeal, if he had his way he would never marry and never inherent the throne.
