anyway i thought i should mention that there really isn't a way they could have met alive? gemma and cade are the oldest, and even if you changed when maddi died, she would have been reallly young when she knew cade. cx
but them having a thing when they're dead is fine. gemma would notice maddi has a thing for him and be like 'lol no back off'
