meet miss mitsu aoi, a beast tamer in tempest valley. she is a very shy
and soft-spoken girl, usually running off to the forest first thing in the
morning and spending the rest of the day alone with the animals of the
forest. despite her sweet and sincere nature, she has few friends other
than the forests creatures due to her being incredibly shy.

when she was born, mitsu showed no signs of magical abilities, so her
parents assumed that she would be a simple everyday worker. but soon
she began to interact with the animals brought into the valley in a way
that only the beast-tamers did, and her parents were overjoyed. mitsu
is now an excellent beast-tamer, her gentle words and pure heart gain-
ing any animal's trust, but she shies away from any fame placed on her.

since he was young people have seen luca's unthreatening animagus form and pretty face as an invitation to bowl him over, and that's what has made him the way he is now— cold, brittle, hostile. he's learned the hard way that building up walls of iron and ice is the only way for him to not be stepped on, the only way for him to stay upright. to those who've melted down his ice walls, luca's pessimistic but a shoulder to cry on, prickly but there when you fall to pick up your pieces and sloppily glue you back together.

he has coal-dark hair and a very small, slim physique. he doesn't utilize his black cat form as often as some animagi do, since it doesn't actually provide him with more protection than his human body, but it does come in handy for sneaking into places or climbing.

meet akashi, a crow tengu
and likely the one responsi-
ble for rearranging all your
furniture while you were
asleep or for sneaking that
frog under your bed. simply
put, if there's mischief to b-
e done, then you can trust
he'll do it. most of the other
spirit realm dwellers have
gotten used to his antics, s-
ince he means no harm, but
that troublemaking's bound
to catch up to him some day.

as flighty as the bird that
he embodies, akashi never
stays still for too long and
often flits from one thing to
the next quickly. he's also a
bit deceptive, as would be
expected of a yōkai like him,
and isn't one for things like
promises and favors - but
he'll uphold the few promises
and favors that he does make.
of course, he'll try to get out
of it, but akashi'll do it in the
end. eventually. (probably.)
