Well, I'm going to get straight to the point. These are the roleplays I will do, everything will be above a 4/10 if I actually want to do it. Under 4/10 means I can do it, but I'd prefer not to. 10/10 means I'm desperate for it. Feel free to suggest something else unless it's listed in my "won't do" section that follows. Why hello there. I am looking for a very specific type of role play so I am going to get right to the point. I am looking for a Star Trek role play with a Kirk/Spock pairing. I realize there are problems that come with different species relationships but that's the fun thing about role playing, working out solutions to problems. And it is just a role play, so if something needs tweaked to better suit the role play it's not a huge deal, right?

- I am a semi literate - literate role player, meaning I can comfortably post between 3-6 paragraphs or more depending on the plot, situation, and what my partner gives me. Since my courses are out for the summer I will be able to post daily, however I am patient and will only expect a reply at least once a week. I understand that you have a life outside of the role play; I myself have a job, a fiancé and a family.

- I would like to be the one to play Kirk, since he is the one I feel I can portray the best. However, if you are interested and you feel you cannot play Spock I will consider switching since I am desperate for this role play. Just be prepared for me to obsess over whether I am doing him justice, he is my favorite. XP I would also like for this to take place after the most recent movie, Into Darkness, however it is ok if you have not seen it, as long as you don't mind a few spoilers.

- I am fairly new to the Star Trek universe, I am currently watching my way through the original movies and episodes. I have just finished season one and I have watched Wrath of Kahn and I am constantly reading things online to learn more. I am looking for someone who can answer some questions and put up with my newbiness. Or, if you are new like me at least be willing to learn along the way and put in some research. I would like this to be as true to the series as possible.

- I would like this to be mature romance (Not necessarily the dirty kind, jeesh) meaning I don't want them running around like flouncy teenagers on spring break. I will role play here through the forums or through private e-mail (I really do prefer email though), but I will not role play through pm.

- I would like for this to be high semi literate with 3-5 paragraphs a post. This does not mean we cannot post more or less due to a situation during the role play that may dictate otherwise, but I would like to keep to that minimum guideline.

- I would like for you to be semi literate, meaning you can post between 3-5 well formed paragraphs with good spelling, grammar and sentence structure, and that your posts are well formed and add to the quality of the role play. Notice I did not say anything about being perfect. We all make mistakes and I am far from a grammar expert. If you couldn't already tell I am addicted to commas. I do however use a spell check and I expect you to do the same. Formatting doesn't matter to me just know that I rarely go beyond shrinking, centering, and maybe coloring my text. I will add a tag if you prefer.

- Like I said before I do not expect you to be a Star Trek expert, but if you are new like me I would like for you to learn along the way and put in some research. I would like for this to be as true to the series as possible, meaning no major changes such as turning the Klingon's into peace loving hippies.

- I would like for you to be able to post at least once a week or more, but due to my desperation I am not being picky. All I ask is that you stick with me and not abandon the role play. I want this to live.

- I would like for you to be able to contribute to the plot and bounce ideas around. I have a vague plot I have come up with, but by no means do we have to go by it. If you have something else in mind, or have any changes to make by all means tell me. I’ll go for anything as long as it is Kirk/Spock.

So, if you have made it this far and you are interested, please pm me! I am really craving this role play and would love to get started as soon as possible. I will however be picky about literacy. I want to be able to match the level of my partner. Feel free to look through my post history or ask me for samples, as I will be looking through yours. If you would like to send me a sample that is fine, since I know posting histories can be deceiving. I completely understand literate role players joining lower literacy role plays to relax, I do it sometimes myself. I am not semi-lit so you don't have to be, but, don't expect me to be semi-lit, But, I would like for you to have decent grammar, I understand typos and if you don't know how to spell something, either change the sentence up or look it up.

I am open to any suggestions on any type of RP, but, I don't RP everything, so, don't expect me to say yes to every suggestion you make, but, I will most likely do a Warrior cat RP or Wolf RP. So feel free to suggest, doesn't matter to me.

________Alrighty, well hello there. I have recently decided that I'm getting tired of having and seeing LONG posts searching for 1x1's. So I'll try to keep this short and sweet. First off, the name is Kayla, Duckheart, Duck, Ducky, basically whatever you care to call me. Honestly, I respond to anything. I'm pretty literate to semi-literate, so if you will only ever reply with 1-2 lines, sorry but I'm not for you. I can't stand people who don't use punctuation, and I don't get along with people who tell me what to do with my characters, so please respect my wishes in those areas.

________Here is a sample of my writing. I usually use third person. I'm looking for someone who posts more than one paragraph per reply, and is on quite a lot. Shoot me a pm, even if your idea isn't on my list... you never know, I might take to it.

_____I absolutely despise doubling! I'm quick to reply, but I'm not online 24/7. I'm great at coming up with plots, so that should not be a problem. I absolutely LOVE anything that is set in Historical times. If I format my posts or not depends on what mood I'm in, or if my partner does or not... I do not do Role-plays that'll give me nightmares, so don't ask, otherwise I have no limits. I like to role-play over a thread, and short character forms help me get to know your character a little. I prefer female characters but can do both, no problem. I don't like making my character's speech different from the rest of my post. I like to make first posts pretty!!

I a semi-literate guy who loves roleplaying. At most I will roleplay up to two/three characters at a time unless it's absolutely necessary that I play more ((Not counting NPCs)). My original characters will almost always be evil/villainous unless I'm playing as an existing person. I will only make two characters at the most, but If I have a third character, they are usually quite different from my existing characters. I am not the biggest fan of romance and prefer if it is kept to a minimal in the roleplay unless it is meant to have romance. I am fine with any type of violence, torture and gore, however as long as most is played off CS. I always rp in third person but am fine with those who don't.


I would prefer if my partner roleplays mostly males in the rp and is also semi-lit. Depending on the roleplay selected most if not all of their characters may have powers. I stand by the saying "Opposites attract", so I prefer if they roleplay unique original characters mostly different from each other in age and personality. However I accept if this is not entirely possible. I would prefer they they also not roleplay anthros, because even though I have an anthropomorphic character of my own, I am not a big fan of anthros unless they are a great character, nekos and the such are great however. Also I would prefer not ALL their characters be gay, absolutely nothing against it, it's just I like variety and dislike too much romance. Person must be fine with at least a moderate amount of violence. I also do not care for or about 'pretty posts', as long as it's legible, it's fine.


We most both be cooperative, polite, respectful and to each other. If we chose to rp gore not for CS then it is to be taken offsite, we also must abide by the CS rules. As for characters, NO Mary/Gary sues ((Over-powered/perfect characters who win every fight)) or Ragdolls ((Overly weak characters whose attacks do little to no damage and let themselves be thrown around. Usually always get severely injured by their opponent or anything, really.)) No OP powers such as Mind-control or Mind-reading. We must both be at least somewhat active.

Hello I would like to roleplay Homestuck! Either canon characters or fan (I only have 2 fankids as of right now thought) I can write paragraphs but I will have really slow replies and I feel more comfortable with doing 1 to 2 liners.
