On top of the snowing clouds The Sky Keepers sat around as the next Alpha was born. There she was, a girl. Just like the rest of her bloodline, they knew she would be built to be one of the largest females within their tribe. The pup cried as she was placed gently on top of the soft cloud, the tribe couldn't believe how much she looked like the original Alpha. Her parents were proud as they stood next to her, nuzzling her small little face. Growing up she was filled with curiosity and always wanted to learn, to her ignorance was not bliss. As a pup she was loud and social, wanting to learn and know everything. As Okami grew up she became distant from the wolves and started to focus on her flying. Throughout her years she did not just learn about her people, she learned to use her large wings to her advantage. Okami is surprising a very fast and agile flier after training with her wings for years, causing her to become one of the strongest flier within the tribe, just like the Alphas before her.
As stated above, Okami is a quiet wolf now. She prefers to observe before she speaks to make sure her decision is good for her tribe. Despite what her tribe may think because of her distant and cold nature, she is a very caring wolf. Okami has deep love for her tribe as they have been there for it all. The tribe may have different families within it, but in the end they are family in her eyes. Just as her father and grandparents before, Okami is dominant wolf. She does not appreciate other wolves trying to be more dominant than her in any way possible, this also causes her to be possessive of her current partners (she has never had a mate before), as she does not want to loose them and will fight for them. Those are only her main traits, she does have other traits within her, some good, some bad. A few bad ones within her is that she tries not to trust anyone except for her tribe, but she can't do it. She will forever accept other wolves and treat them as if they were apart of her tribe, unless they show her that they aren't good at all. Okami is also very self conscious, as she feels like she's a giant and hates it, so often enough she will look at a reflection of herself trying to make herself feel okay about her body. When wolves see her doing this they often see her as a vain Alpha who mainly cares about herself, even if that's not the case. Okami is also very negative, no one knows why but it's just hard for her to find the glass half full.
Okami is one of the largest female wolves within the tribe (she is large for her breed and gender), her fur is pure black and her wings ombre from black to white. A lot of the tribe always have to double take her as she looks so much like their original Alpha, the only difference is her pale grey eyes that seem to hold no emotion to wolves who don't know her.

Balto had a somewhat rough childhood, filled with tears and hurt in his opinion. He was always teased about being a hybrid and not a pureblood flying wolf, even though he was childhood friends with Okami, that was until she went off for camp. After she wasn't there to help stick up for him, he had to do it for himself. A lot of the male wolves would laugh and bully him about being gay and always barked at him rude comments whenever he was walking around. Eventually he grew a pair and snapped back at one of them, getting him into a fight but at least he got some respect out of it. Once he had gotten old enough, he was recruited to be a warrior. He liked the idea of being a weather wolf, but he didn't have enough patience to make clouds like they do so warrior it is.
Balto is pretty happy nowadays and is always optimistic unlike his childhood friend nowadays. Being so happy tends to make him approachable, he likes a lot because nowadays he's is quite popular and has friends of all sorts. The male also tends to be a flirt, and likes to bug many Land Runners by flirting with them since he knows they don't care for him. Along with this all, Balto can be quite hot headed when it comes to protecting his loved ones and they decide to make an idiotic choice. He is also quite impatient and likes to just do things and not plan. Luckily for the lead warrior he's submissive so he wouldn't dare to upset them and rush into important things.
