● Mayhem is a girl who would much rather live in a world of fantasies and
dreams than face reality. Bubbly, warm, and enthusiastic, it's definitely not
difficult to get along with her. However, her choice of friends may change
that. Mayhem has always been known to be a people-pleaser; she does
whatever it takes to satisfy those around her, even if it isn't necessarily
something she would do on her own. She is a sincere person with a bit too
much honesty, finding she often speaks before considering, which could some-
times make her look a bit too guilty. If she knows she's done wrong, she gets
flustered and stuttery, because the last thing she wants is to displease someone
else and get on their bad side, even if she has "enemies" due to the girl she
calls her best friend. She's far too sensitive for her own good and overthinking is
her strong suit; she's often seen in tears.

She loves change but finds it difficult to accept when it targets her personality,
whenever that happens. As mentioned earlier, she doesn't like confrontation,
finding herself awfully sensitive and, to be quite frank, awful when it comes
to taking criticism and harsh words, and therefore does as she can to run
around it. She often needs praise from other people; approval that lets her
know that things are okay. However, that being said, sometimes May finds she
only really listens to people she's close to. Or, it simply goes over her head until
the moment has passed. She admittedly has an easier time persuading and
encouraging others before herself.

Mayhem is a rather positive thinker, often siding with the utopian side of things
as opposed to the realistic potentials. She sees life as a bubble of endless
possibilities, and is more than willing to give another go at things if need be.
She often acts pretty dumb, or uninformed because she knows how much
the attention means to the Queen Bee, but she's actually quite a good student.
She hides her grades and doesn't like talking about her successes, often.
She can be an extremely dramatic person. May absolutely loves attention
and knows how to act to get it, but only when she isn't around her best friend.
Or, she'll use her charm to draw people in towards the Queen, because then,
at least she'd get a bit of it. She could be considered to be a bit self-indulgent,
though when this is mentioned, she innocently defends herself by saying that
she didn't get enough attention as child, and carries on with life.

She loves love but is afraid to experience it in person. Dreaming about it is great
fun for her, for she has the ability to make up fun scenarios and play out the
endings, but May is afraid to reach the end in her personal life and therefore is
scared to give in to it. She's a rather hopeless romantic, though, and awful when
it comes to chatting with those of the opposite sex, or, honestly, just anyone she
finds attractive.

She's quite a competitive person when she wants to be. Mayhem often sets high
standards, even if she doesn't show it, and likes impressing her peers. She can be a
bit indecisive, though, and is a terrible procrastinator, so getting around to said
plans can take a bit. If she wants to do something, she'll do it right away if she's
determined enough. If it doesn't mean a lot to her, May will gladly put it off, though
going back to it seems highly unlikely.

Mayhem is from a large family
of seven. Her family, recent
immigrants, had always been
very hard-working. May was
the first one born in North
Carolina, and two followed.
The others came from Guiyang,
and they'd only ever taken one
trip out there since their move.
As grateful and determined
the family is in terms of work,
they have always lacked an
emotional connection a lot of
families have. For this reason,
May has naturally attached her-
self to other people around her.

of her life

it off because it probably isn't cool

❀ loves to journal but always rips
the paper up afterwards because she's
lowkey embarrassed

around them if her friends don't like them

Celeste Reyes (Queen Bee) | ✔/❁
- Celeste is her best friend, even if
she isn't treated well. Mayhem is
envious of her successes, and deep
down, really does care for the girl,
but getting that out is a bit harder
then in her mind.

Juliet Kingsley (The Undertaker) | ϟ/✔
- These two had a friendship when
younger, but between Juliet's move
and Mayhem's choice in befriending
Celeste, things fell apart. That isn't
to say she completely ignored Juliet,
though...

Lena Reyes (The Rebel) | ϟ
- Lena's rebellious side does make May
a bit more iffy. She is aware of the tension
between Lena & Celeste, too, and would
take Celeste's side over Lena's, especially
because she knows very little about her.

Kinley Martext (The Golden Girl) | ϟ/✔
- They were friends a long time ago,
but it fell off the tracks once May was
taken under Celeste's wing. Although
May acts like she doesn't care, she
really doesn't have anything against
Kinley...

Andrew Saelim (The Golden Boy) | ϟ
- Mayhem really doesn't know much about
Drew, so her opinion on him is pretty limited.

Vanner Malcom (The Troublemaker 1) | ϟ/-
- Mayhem hasn't ever been a huge fan
of The Troublemakers. Celeste teases
them often and sometimes May even
chimes in. The idea of a rebel makes her
a bit uncomfortable.

Enzo Park (The Troublemaker 2) | ϟ/-
- Just like Vanner. He's a Troublemaker,
isn't that enough right there?

Leo Kingsley (The Playboy) | ϟ
- Mayhem doesn't know a lot about
Leo, but she knows he's a total flirt.
She isn't sure she'll get to know him
more or not.

Brooks O'Conner (Mr. Popular) | ✔/❁
- these two got to know one another
because of Celeste. In a way, they
bonded because of the girl. May likes
to consider Brooks a friend of hers.

Benji Malford (The Poet) | ϟ
- She really doesn't even know who
Benji is, in all honesty. She knows
Celeste has spoken to him before,
but who hasn't her friend
talked to?
