power and greatness. lions are even referred to as the โ€˜king of the jungleโ€™. even though they may be powerful,
life within the african savannah isnโ€™t always that easy for lions. the dry seasons are long and harsh, prey
is scattered and unpredictable, with many prides wondering when their next meal may be. reaching adulthood
is considered an achievement as morality rates are often so high for cubs. poachers are becoming one of the greatest
threats for lions. but despite all of these odds, lions still manage to hold their title as the great predators of africa.

hello and welcome to the roleplay! this roleplay is based exclusively around lions, african lions to be exact.
the roleplay is set in africa and will follow the storyline of the lions that live within africaโ€™s serengeti national park.
lions can either be lone or living in prides containing males or simply just females. this is a fairly realistic roleplay,
and is more
based around lion survival rather than royalty i hope you enjoy partaking in the

personality: +traits courageous, tireless, trustworthy -traits needs personal space, dominant, defensive
buuxa is very courageous, he considers himself to be afraid of nothing, and will very rarely back down to a fight. since he is also tireless, it is unlikely that he wonโ€™t give something his all, he would rather give it his best or nothing at all. he goes but what he says, therefore he is also very trustworthy, if he says he wonโ€™t do something he wonโ€™t. however buuxa is easily agitated and very defensive, he generally takes things the wrong way. he likes to be right, and it is very easy to convince him out of something once he has made up his mind. whilst he is somewhat friendly towards others and doesnโ€™t mind being in anotherโ€™s company, he really does need his personal space afterwards to regather. otherwise buuxa can become fairly temperamental afterwards. he generally likes to have a close knit friend group rather than getting to know alot of lions. he becomes closer with certain lions. whilst he may not be the most social lion, he has no problem stating his dominance. he has a fairly dominantinb personality, which can make it had to make agreements with him.


background: buuxa left his natal pride when he was around three years old. he roamed the plains as a young lone lion for a few years before he joined a coalition. he remained with the coalition for a few years, however he was never able to claim any prides due to the significance age difference between himself and the other members. once he reached around five years of age or so, he decided to disband from the coalition and now he is a lone lion on the search for his own pride.

personality: +traits honourable, content, highly observant -traits indifferent, quick tempered, envious
lesedi is a matured lioness with an interesting personality. at first she can be difficult to get along with, she is indifferent towards others and alot of the time doesnโ€™t think much of what the other has to say, she normally looks at her best intrest of having them in her life. she had a difficult past and herefore is very wary and untrustworthy of others, but unfortunately leaves no emotional capacity for others aswell. anotherโ€™s feelings will rarely concern her. although she may like to act all tough on the outside, when harshly threatened lesedi is very quick to become submissive due to to her slightly timid nature. since lesedi is timid, she is highly observant. lesedi will notice something about someone or something, which can be beneficial. whilst she may seem negative since she is so untrusting and timid, lesedi is actually rather content and generally thinks positively either way or simply does not let negativity bother her. be careful to get on lesediโ€™s bad side however, she is quickly ill tempered and may lash out on those more vunerable than her fairly quickly. due to her harsh up bringing, lesedi is also secretly envious of anyone who seems happy or has a carefree lifestyle.


background: lesedi had a very tough upbringing. the pride she was born into was a violent pride, with many outbreaking fights amongst the pride males. lesedi was almost killed once by a rival male, but thankfully to her protective mother she managed to survive. lesedi and her mother lived as lone lions for a while, as she was an only cub. they managed to get by fairly well, and once lesedi was getting older her mother decided it was time to join a pride. things seemed alright until lesedi first litter of cubs were born. there were some complications during the pregnancy but everything turned out fine. she gave birth to three healthy cubs, and they were beginning to grow and thrive quickly. sadly her pride was attacked by a band of hyenas. lesedi fiercely attempted to fight off the hyenas from her cubs and so did lesediโ€™s mother. despite their efforts, two of lesediโ€™s cubs were fatally wounded by the hyenas. Lesediโ€™s mother had a terrible wound, and within days it got infected before she passed. lesedi has felt like a failure to her family ever since, leading her to become slightly bitter.

binah is a very flirty and lively young lioness. she is young and in her prime and wants to experience everything the world has to offer. she loves to learn and discover new things and people. binah is always on the lookout for adventure, she doesnโ€™t like to sit still for long periods of time as she is easily bored. whilst binah may be flirtatious, she doesnโ€™t just to along with just about any lion she can be slightly picky and can see through those with bad intentions. to those she loves and bonds with, she is a very caring lioness, always going out of her way for others. she can become slightly clingy and needy, but she doesnโ€™t mind giving others their personal space here and there. she does prefer to be in the company of others though. binah is easily frightened by the anger of others, and simply raising oneโ€™s voice or giving her a funny look can make her feel quite anxious and doubtful. whilst she does prefer to avoid conflict, she will fiercely defend those she loves. binah may seem all flirty and lively, but be aware she can quickly turn to be somewhat grumpy and agitated depending on the day. it doesnโ€™t usually last long however and she isnโ€™t one to hold grudges.


background: binah has only just recently left her natal pride, and is still learning what it is like to be a lone lioness and eventually to be in a pride other than that of her birth pride. binah and buuxa are half siblings, sharing the same father but different mothers. binah never knew much of buuxa, she was only just a young cub when he left the pride. she hasnโ€™t seen him since however she feels as if he may be slightly jealous of her, as she was born to the queen of the pride whereas he was not. she believes buuxa thinks she is โ€œtoo spoiltโ€.

She is a very fragile soul who seems to be rather scared of her own shadow at times.

name: aziza (a-Z-zuh) | name meaning: powerful and beloved | gender: female | age: seven years | family: odion(son) & zuri(daughter) | bulk: three hundred-twenty pounds | personality: aziza is a very watchful and rather protective around those who she loves. This mother is quite wise and bluntly honest when it comes to those who have a haughty attitude. She isn't afraid to treat another lionesses and lions as though they are cubs, scolding them when need be as long as they are younger. Yet, she holds deep respect for those whom are older, and if had taken another pride--would be loyal to them only. Her trust in lions has faded upon having her cubs, but perhaps that could change since it is much safer within a pride than to be alone. | short history: aziza was the queen of a small pride to the east, unfortunately, the king had passed away due to an illness that spread mostly through out the pride. Her family big and small were passing before her eyes. When her cubs were born, aziza made the difficult choice to leave.

name: kanoni (kan-oh-nee)| name meaning: little bird| gender: female | age: three years | family: none in rp | bulk: barely two hundred pounds | personality: kanoni is a playful feline with a certain glow of excitement in her eyes. She is extremely social and loves to talk to those both young and old. Love is a new concept for her that she doesn't know much about. kanoni is quite empathetic as well, lending a hand where ever she can to especially help lionesses. | short history: kanoni, to put it simply, was the smallest of five siblings. Nobody ever expected much from a little feline like herself, but she was the first to leave the pride in search of her own journey.
