Nuru has been a seer for two years but has only recently found a pride. The role of seer has been passed down through her family for generations. Generally the females would take on the role, however there has been a couple instances of males holding the responsibility. Nuru found herself with the ability when she was only a year and a half right after her mother took her last breaths, taken by an illness. Under normal circumstances her mother would've taught her how to harness the gift of revelation, preparing her for what to expect when she was older. However, this was not the case. The young lioness was forced to inherit the role earlier than intended. Her most noticeable trait was the trademark of a seer: her glowing eyes. Nuru had stayed with her home pride for a year before setting out to find her own. She told them she had seen herself leaving to find a greater purpose. While the pride was sad to see her go, they understood she must leave and wished her the best of luck on her journey. With determination, she set off to find the pride that would need her sight. On her travels she had happened upon a few small prides. Some of the members were wary of her strange glow but were kind nonetheless. Nuru would get her hopes up with each passing group only to feel she still hadn't found the right pride. Her gift of sight wasn't always clear. Usually it was vague or easy to misinterpret. She had to use her intuition to the best of her ability when deciphering a vision.
