Many moons ago a fire raged through the forest, burning everything in it's path.
The fire raged for a whole day and night without stopping.
When the fire finally died out, a huge cloud of smoke was left behind.
Out of the smoke cloud stepped a cat, his pelt strewn with stars.
This cat had died in the fire.
He never again wanted a fire so big or so strong to rule the forest, so he came to a loner in a dream.
He said to the loner (who's name was Smoke,) "You must go to the forest,
there, you will start a new life, and a new clan.
Gather other cats and get them to follow you.
You will be known as Smokestar, and you will be the founder of SmokeClan."
The starry cat hoped with more cats in the forest, fire would be kept away.
He was wrong, and soon another fire will strike, bigger,
stronger, scarier and more deadly than ever before...
