(Bio) Alma grew up in a small town as the daughter of a restaurant owner. Her mother left the
family when Alma was little, so Alma lived with her father and siblings who all worked in the
restaurant from the age of twelve or so. She had a happy life with good grades, a nice little
house, a few close friends, and a happy family. Alma went to college and got a degree in
engineering, then she moved to the city where she worked as an engineer for a circuitboard
company before leaving to write articles in magazines about global warming. Alma was in
the middle of writing a book about the importance of the Devonian period when her dimension
collided with the others.

Bio:
Her mother gave birth to her on June 29 on a sweltering, windy day. She was born at home, a tradition dating far back for the woman of her family. The window was opened and the summer breeze came rushing in, ready to greet the little light. She greeted the wind with a giggle and thus was the beginning of her life. Growing up, she was a bit of a tom-boy you could say. Her mother taught her to trust herself, to read and write, and how to cook. Her father taught her how to navigate the stars and the woods, how to shoot with a bow, fish, and how to skin an animal. They were a bit old-fashioned for sure, but she didn't mind. She eventually moved to a big town for college and learned how to modern technology, but she still goes back every weekend. She was in the library after reading a new book, she tried to sketch out the heroine when her dimension clashed with the other.
