+ Has the ability to manipulate light so that it may pass through her, rendering her invisible
- Due to the light passing through her, the light no longer reflects off her retina's, rendering her blind while she's invisible

+ Has the ability to read heat signatures of others [inside buildings, blocks away, underground, ect]
- Cannot read people wearing anti-heat signature outfits/suits [ex: T'Challa's suit due to it's vibranium base]

H I S T O R Y;
Life's not been good to Iris. She's heard the saying some people have it worse than others, and she certainly has had it worse than others. As a child, Iris was taken from her mother and integrated into a HYDRA-based program in a desolate, rural area of Russia. The lead scientist was adamant on recreating the 'Super Soldier Serum,' but with a twist. The man wanted super soldiers with abilities, and the clean mind of The Winter Soldier. He wanted to create the most dangerous army this century had seen since the Invasion of New York. And under him, as an intern of sorts, was Baron von Strucker. Iris was one of the scientist's test subjects, as were about a dozen more. None of the subjects were allowed contact, and none of them ever managed to have contact with each other. The closest the got to identifying each other were the different screams that inhabited the halls in the dead of night. The worst part was none of the tests worked, so they were put through various painful chemical, biological, and physiological tests that seemed endless. Until one night. A breakthrough was made, and Iris, since she was the strongest at the time, was chosen to endure the test. To the greatest relief of the scientists, and the horror of Iris, the first 'miracle' was created. Iris received abilities, but at a great cost that haunts her to this day. Once receiving her abilities, she became unstable.
Iris had no idea how to handle the absolute power that surged through her veins so suddenly, that she became a greater risk to have around then to try and stabilize and move to phase two, solider brainwashing. So the scientist ordered her cell guard to shoot her. They had their formula, and they had a dozen other subjects. One loss was better than the possible destruction she was now capable of. But, before the guard was able to fire, her powers surged beyond her control, and an almost nuclear-sized reaction occurred. A blast, with her being the origin, erupted and caused the annihilation of the building, and everyone in it, except her. It reduced the building to rubble, smoke, and ashes. All research, all information, and all evidence was destroyed. The only exception being herself, and one Baron von Strucker. At the time, Strucker was called to another HYDRA area at the time, allowing him to avoid death. He and HYDRA soon found out of the destruction of one of their most promising bases, and so Strucker, since being the intern to the head doctor, was moved to Sokovia to try and recreate the tests, which later provided Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver during Ultron's reign of terror.
After the blast, Iris fled the scene, into nearby woods, as a SHIELD team quickly moved in not long after. They must have assumed there were no survivors, due to the carnage spread out before them, as nobody came looking for her. And so, she continued on being someone who didn't exist. There was no file on her, she was in no system, and she had no papers. And because she didn't exist, she was forced to fend for herself for a time until she could get her new abilities under control. Abilities which now included light, heat, and energy manipulation, and a few characteristics of the super soldier serum. The most prominent being a slowed aging process, slightly enhanced senses, and better stamina and strength. Though, from her appearance, she may look completely normal to those who don't know her.
From there, she managed to get foraged papers, and moved to the States, where she now resides. Once in the States, she began to pick up a knack for hacking, although not nearly as impressive as some hackers out there. But she knew enough to forage papers, a driver's license, and a passport until she was able to get a job. After blending in for a time, she enrolled to a University. Despite her rocky and depressing past, she remains incredibly optimistic and joyous, much to the amazement of anyone who knows who she really is.

Description; Talitha is toned and muscular, yet in a sleek way. She's 5'10" and very slim. She has a bit of an hour glass figure but it's not very pronounced. Her skin color is more of a pinkish tone and she's fairly light skinned. Her face is longer with a more chiseled jaw. Her hair is jet-black with one small turquoise line running through it, which just randomly appeared when she gained her powers. That stripe glows faintly in the dark and she is constantly trying to hide it do it doesn't give away her position. Her eyes are almost the same color as her blue streak and she has heterochromia, a strange anomaly where you have a streak of a different color in your eye. She has a rare black streak in hers.
Talitha usually wears either a hoodie combination that looks similar to this, or a leather jacket combination like this.

Personality; Firstly, Talitha is cold and stone hearted, yet she does feel the need to help innocent people in danger. She's pretty introverted but not in a shy way and detaches herself from others, rathering to be a loner. This means that she's very independent and not exactly a team player, which can be difficult in some situations as she'll just go every girl for herself on you. She's always been very sarcastic, clever and a bit foxy at times. She's extremely serious and you'll never see her laugh, unless your very close to her or you did something really stupid.
Secondly, Talitha is also very truthful and untrusting. She doesn't sugar-coat and thinks it better to tell the honest truth, even if it's harsh. It takes quite a bit to gain her trust, but takes very little to lose it, never to be gained again. However, if you go through the difficulty of gaining her trust, it's worth it. She'll be brutally loyal and protective until the end. She can also be a bit more caring to those she's close to, and will try to help in any way possible.
Thirdly, Talitha is very decisive and stubborn. She won't give it up in any situation, even if it's hopeless. She's one of the worst enemies to possibly have, because she won't give in when hunting you down and won't give up until she finds and either kills or severely hurts you. She's also a good planner and organizer. She'll think through things pretty thoroughly before doing it.
Lastly, Talitha has a red hot temper, but it shows in an odd way. Instead of having the usual kind of mad, screaming, violent rage, she gets even colder and harsher. Her voice becomes full of poison and her looks, well, let's say if looks could kill, you'd be dead. She also gets very stiff and rigid to keep herself from hurting someone. She holds grudges against people until they either redeem themselves to her, which is rather difficult, or disappear from her life.
History; Talitha didn't really have much of a childhood. After she turned three, her parents were killed and her and her siblings were taken to a German testing facility. They were named Alpha, Beta, Gamma, and Delta, then were each injected with acid. The reasoning was that she and her siblings had a special acidic blood line and the Germans were going to exploit that to make an acidic warrior for World War 2. That way, they could fight against and hopefully defeat Captain America or Wolverine.
Her siblings Beta and Gamma died the process, one immediately and one slowly but they both died in front of Talitha's eyes. When the only two remaining, Alpha and Delta, survived the the rest of the testing, the Germans began 'training' them in different fighting techniques. Delta with the stave; Alpha with a chain whip. This was to make them strong and hardened battle soldiers. However, their training was basically ten to twenty well-trained soldiers trying to kill them. At first, they'd done terribly anf we're constantly beaten for losing, but they started to slowly gain the upper hand on the soldiers, until they could each handle at least ten each. After every training lessons, the two were forced to kill the soldiers they'd defeated. At first they wouldn't do it, but then they'd be lashed and finally give in. After a while, though, they'd do it without hesitation.
This left Talitha with many emotional and physical scars. But she somehow survived and made it out with the powers and abilities they had wanted her to have. They also gave her and her brother massive, black wings that could disappear at will. Finally, the two siblings decided to escape. However, they had to fight their way through tens of hundreds of soldiers. Alpha was mortally injured in this hopeless escape attempt and died in his sister's arms. That's when the Germans realized what they'd done. Talitha was completely enraged and went berzerk. She killed several hundred people before being caught and subdued. They froze her alive, knowing she was too strong to use in the war and that they couldn't control her but not wanting to waste their money and effort put in to her by killing her. When the war ended, Talitha was forgotten and stayed in ice for over eighty years.
Then, she was found by a group of tourists who had gone off the beaten path at a German museum and found the basement lab where she'd been put. They screamed, guards came and got Talitha to hospital, where the doctors had no idea what to do. Then, she'd been shipped to America and slowly unfrozen in their best facilities. When she had been completely unfrozen, Captain America had been there as they'd told him that she was from his same era. He'd helped her to understand what had happened and where she was, but she still refrained from telling him, or anyone else, about her 'abilities'. Whenever the doctor tried to take her blood, she'd always find a way out of it. They'd also found there was a stave frozen in with her and gave it to her when she'd regained conscience.
After a bit, she was let go and went on to try and live a normal life in upstate New York. Then she heard about the Avenger's fight over the accords and about the disappearance of Cap. She came straight to Tony, and basically just notified him that she was going to be on his search team so he would either have to deal with it, or be burned to death. He knew that she knew Cai well and that they were fairly close so he'd hoped died be useful in that respect.
