ＰＩＣＫＩＮＧ ＴＨＥ ＥＤＧＥＳ

Seok Jaemin is a twenty year old dance major. He was born on October 13th, joining a family with one brother already waiting for him. Jaemin was born in Busan, South Korea and joined this college as a foreign exchange student. He speaks fluent English, but has a small accent that others might seem cute. Being born in Busan, his satoori comes out when he's angry or frightened. (the way he pronounces Korean words.) Jaemin stands at 5 feet and 7 inches. Some people think he isn't so scary, looking at his small height for a male, but then they see whats under his shirt and realize he is fully capable of defending himself. After joining the college he quickly learned that Jaemin wasn't a common name in America and picked out a nickname for himself; Jay.

ＤＩＧＧＩＮＧ ＤＥＥＰＥＲ

Jaemin's family isn't the wealthiest family you've seen, they are quite the opposite. He was given this opportunity to learn across seas, but that doesn't mean his parents aren't paying for it. Jaemin is his parents last chance at money before losing their home. Jaemin must work hard to be spotted by agencies or reach the top charts of the whole college to assure that he will make it into a group in the future and receive money to keep his parents home. He is not the friendliest of boys. He scowls, quite often, and doesn't hesitate to complain. He is a flirt and the stereotypical bad boy. He approaches women more than he would men simply because he doesn't like normal conversation unless he can end that night with at least a kiss to the cheek and a man is more unlikely to accept that given the way society can be. He's had a rough past involving betrayal. What he needs is someone whose willing to get past his 'spike collar dog' look and see that he's only a lonely puppy.

EDIT: also I feel like he should have at least one friend who knows he's actually harmless so if anyones willing to be that friend then woo! if not than hehe he can be evil at the start of the role play.

personality;; he has a bit of a shy streak, appearing stoic and cold -- which gives a lot of people the wrong impression.
top that off with his height and he comes off quite intimidating. of course, they shouldn't jump to conclusions because
minghao is a gentle giant unless provoked. he's quite caring and empathetic, apologizing a lot, since he feels guilty when
he hurts others feelings.

minghao is pretty good at reading the atmosphere, but sometimes he just throws away reason for what he believes is the best
approach. not that is. if anything, it's the way that leaves him and his close ones unscathed. he has confidence issues, easily
persuaded and knocked down by others words if they dare say them, making him quite jealous when the situation calls for it.
minghao's not the most intelligant of the bunch, often blinking in confusion when he doesn't understand the subject they're
talking about or if they're hinting at something. that being said, he did pass high school with an average grade, quite a bit
away from failing pretty much all of his classes -- except social studies. whatever, his remedial class was fun.

despite that, he's known to be pretty creative, sketching being one of his favourite pass times. he's also quite observant,
picking up when something is out of place, whether it be breathing or inanimate. once getting past his expressionless phase,
you'll find minghao to be clingy and quite talkative, willing to fill any silences. he trusts easily but it's easy to break and if
he finds out you lied to him, will question what else you've been lying about -- his insecurities appearing.

history;; minghao grew up in jiaxing, china and lived without a hitch for the majority of his childhool, his parents divorcing
when he was ten. it was around this time that he got into photography but it wasn't serious at first, something to take his mind
off of things. in his first year of high school, minghao's father got transferred to the californian branch of his company in shanghai.
minghao became friends with some really good people in the media arts class and dance team he joined at his school (he dropped
it after two years since he wasn't very good).

[ jack mardlin ] neu/ Jay doesn't really know about Jordan. He's seen the boy around and considering he's in Media that means he's no threat to his dance career. Jay knows he's probably a nice kid to talk to, but is too lazy to actually do it himself considering he's bad with actual relationships.

[ Chloe Campbell ] neu/ It's obvious the girl is pretty, but that's all he's seen about her. Jay would like to see her modeling skills in action before he can say anything positive or negative about the girl. She seems like an outgoing girl as well, someone with a personality Jay wouldn't mind getting to know as a friend.

[ Adaline Harler ] pos/ Jay thinks she seems a little shy, which make shim want to approach her. He enjoys watching shy people struggle and stutter with friendly questions and fast talk, Jay thinks its cute. He's almost tempted to call her gorgeous simply just to make her blush. Despite her looks he'd like to see the little short thing acting and decide whether shes talented or not.

[ Park Chanyeol ] neu/ Jay is normally threatened by other dancers, but seeing as this boys main focus isn't entirely on dance he isn't as worried about Park Chanyeol. Jay will either get along with this guy, or absolutely hate him. There's no in between. Seeing they are both tough guys they would either both understand the 'I hate more than like' lifestyle or they would butt heads like two alpha wolves usually do.

[Luke Campbell ] neu/ Once again Jay doesn't know much to give a first impression on Luke. Even Jay has to admit the boys handsome, many people want his eyes. Jay wants to hear the boy play guitar since many people have mentioned his skill. Jay could maybe even do a dance collaboration with Luke's music, maybe.

[ Jeon 'Mason' Wonwoo ] neg/ The boy is too skittish, sort of annoying actually. He's nice but, not the kind of person Jay would hang out with. He's probably got no sense of rebellion in him. The boy seems good friends with Jungkook, which probably would just bother me any time I was near the other gymnast. He also seems to love to hate the Park guy.

[ Jeon Jungkook ] pos/ Jay have mixed feelings for Jeon Jungkook. He's seen Jungkook before, actually the boys face is familiar and he wonders if it has to do with his gymnast skills. Jay can do a few flips and turns himself and honestly would like to exchange the boys number for a deal. I'll teach you a bit of dance, you help me improve my gymnast skills. Together we could be a good team.

[ jasper lee ] neu/ Jay is really close to marking this boy as negative feelings. Jasper didn't do anything to deserve a negative thought from Jay, well besides his talent in dance. If anyone could take his spot as number one it could definitely be Jasper. Sometimes Jay just wants to pile up that kid (despite Jasper being taller) stuff him in a box and ship him back to San Francisco.

[ Clementine Wallace ] neu/ Jay doesn't quite know anything about Clementine. Actually, who is she? He's heard, from a few people not worth mentioning, that she was flirty? Does she like to have fun? Spontaneous? Rebellious?

[ kim eunji ] pos/ The girl is most definitely nice. She seems sweet, but shes friends with the little brat Jay dislikes. Which is a big no no.

[ lyric espinosa ] neu/ She seems like a nice girl, talented as well. She seems like the kind of girl that can handle herself if anyone were to mess with her. Who knows she could probably throw a good few punches. Jay wouldn't mind befriending her, but then again he'd never admit that. He's too 'cool' for it. c;

[ Kim Seulki ] neu/ He really likes her talent and doesn't feel threatened by it. He doesn't like to separate by gender but most dance groups are like that so any spot held for him shes most likely not to take. Yet there's still the possibility because there are mixed gender groups. She's probably better than her, one of the first girl dancers who actually dances instead of waving their hips around to be pretty. Sometimes he wonders if she ever gets tired from dancing. Doing a suet with her would be nice, but fast paced one because she obviously could handle a cool dance.

[ minghao zhang ] pos/ Micah is Jaemin's only friend and the only person he trusts. He's also the only person who Jay allows to use his real name, Jaemin. Sometimes he finds himself questioning his friends actions then ultimately regretting it because Micah has never let him down, second guessing peoples actions is just a habit of Jay's. The two boys are polar opposites, Jay's a confident brat when Minghao is far from it. Minghao is imaginative when all Jay can do is create choreography for his dances. Micah is the closest person Jay has right now.

[ Loryne D'Acer ] pos// Jay might just really really be interested in this girl. Shamefully he was interested in her only by her looks, but then he developed a habit of keeping an eye on her if she just so happened to pass by. Luckily for him, she's shy. He must really have a thing for shy girls. he also noticed that she seemed sort of lonely, as if no one really noticed she was someone in need of a friend. Jay's felt that before Micah came along and ultimately he wants to cure her of any possible loneliness.
