Quailpaw, Duckpaw, and Dovepaw were now apprentices, as Jaykit was stillborn. After hearing all of the wonderful stories about their mother from the queen that had taken care of them, her best friend Lakeivy. She fell quiet, and the siblings grew farther apart. Quailpaw and Duckpaw had still interacted until Duckpaw had been attacked by a loose dog near the twolegplace. She'd lived for a while longer after the incident, but eventually died of wound infection. She was extremely hurt, and became reclusive but she trained harder once she'd heard some of the comments about her. "Oh but Pigeonheart was so strong, it's surprising that she had Quailpaw.", "I know, I personally don't think she'll ever become a warrior." Those were just a few to speak of, but she became a warrior nonetheless.
