many generations ago, there lived a tribe by the name of the tribe of endless trees. they lived a rather quiet life,
not being surrounded by any other groups of cats or any large predators. however, in the summer, due to the trees
and ideal weather, two-legs visited often. for moons the tribe managed to avoid the two-legs; until one day a fire
remained unattended, and preceded to spread across the forest, ravaging anything in its path. when the flames
spread towards the tribe, they were forced to evacuate.

it took moons for the tribe to find a new home. they traveled endlessly through forest, meadows, abandoned two-
leg nests, only to come upon a lake side sheltered within a thick branch of woods. from there, the tribe began to
rebuild everything they had lost. appropriately, they renamed themselves the tribe of burnt ashes in order to have
a piece of history with them forever.

and now, much later, the tribe of burnt ashes still thrives. they live based on many traditions they have created
over the generations, they live in solitude with no rivaling clans or tribes near them, and luckily no pesky two-
legs to ruin the forest. however, there is no telling how long peace will last.

literacy. this roleplay is listed under semi-literate to literate roleplays, meaning i expect at least around
200 words per post. more is more than welcome, and writers block is understandable, it just cannot be
an excuse every single time for not reaching the word count.

characters. you are more than welcome to have as many characters as you'd like! however, please make
sure you are able to keep track of all of them. this being said, i'd like users to have only one high rank
per user, just to make it fair for others. this can be bypassed if something comes up.

forms. all forms should be made by you, or another user with permission/credit of course. on your forms
you should include the basics, your cats name, age, gender, description, rank, you all should know the
drill. if you'd like to add more, PLEASE do! we love details here! forms will go on the discussion thread.

reservations. i will be holding reservations for about 48 hours before i will pm you to check in. however,
if you need more time, make sure you pm me and let me know why! this being said, only the basics have
to be posted in that amount of time, not the full form! i understand we all have lives outside of cs, just
let me know whats going on and we can work it out!

last information. please, make sure you make your character unique to you! this means having deformities,
different sexualities, and most importantly, heterochromia in the eyes (bc its real and your girl here needs
some representation!). if you do have a question, feel free to pm me!

the delegate. the delegate is the same as a deputy. more to come.

the shaman. the shaman is the equivalent of a medicine cat/healer. more to come.

counselors. the counselors are considered to be 'senior warriors' of the tribe. more to come.

guards. guards protect the camp and are used in battle if needed. more to come.

hunters. hunters are the cats who hunt and provide for the tribe. more to come.

scouts. scouts are used to patrol the territory and make sure everything is okay. more to come.

trainees. trainees are cats that are trained to be either a guard, hunter or scout. more to come.

nurturers. nurturers are she-cats who are carrying or are raising kits. more to come.

wise ones. wise ones are the eldest cats in the tribe. more to come.

tradition one
when trainees believe they are ready to be promoted to guards, hunters or scouts, they go to the puddle in the
middle of camp and stick their paws in. if they can clearly see their paw prints, they are ready to be promoted.
each rank requires a different trial. guard trainees are to spar with older guards to show their strength, hunter
trainees are too go into the forest and hunt a specific amount of species and scout trainees are to go out and
scout for their hidden tribe mates or show their skill in sneaking. once each trial is complete, there is a ceremony.

tradition two
kits are to stay by their mothers side until they are around six moons old. when they are at least one moon old,
the crowned one determines their rank. larger, muscled kits are to be guards, lean and quick kits are to be the
hunters, and small, timid kits are determined to be scouts. if, in the future, these ranks don't quite work out
for the cat, they are able to switch, but they have to be re-trained.

tradition three
the tribe is more centered around celebrations than ceremonies. when a trainee gets promoted, and so forth,
instead of having a ceremony, the tribe celebrates by having a feast, a vigil, a relaxing night, or whatever they
feel is right.

at the end of each moon, instead of a gathering, the clan celebrates something along the workings of dia de los
muertos, where the day is considered sacred, and the clan believes its the one day of the month where their
ancestors come down from the tribe of endless hunting and visit them.
