Discussion thread⌜xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx⌝
The lovely town used to be a peaceful home for dogs, both
strays and pets. But humans never liked seeing homeless
animals wandering around the streets and stealing their
food. Stray dogs' count kept growing through years, what
eventually caused humans to try to get rid of them. A few
shelters were built and dog catchers had a job to catch as
many of them as possible, preferably all.
Scared dogs watched their families and friends being caught
and taken away. After a few months they formed a pack and
made a difficult decision to move into a large forest right
next to the town, ready to face dangers they've never even
seen.
Now, after a year, the dogs learnt to survive, forced to go
to the town or deeper into the forest in search of food.
Sometimes not all of them return...

↪ All CS rules apply here
↪ I'd love to see this roleplay go active, thus creating plots and dramas is encouraged
as long as owners of the characters involved have nothing against it.
↪ Activity is necessary, minimum of two posts a week.
↪ Forms and OC go to the discussion thread.
↪ You are allowed to have as many characters as you can handle, because characters
can easily die in this roleplay, though it's your decision if they do or not.
↪ High rank reservations need to be done via PM, first come first serve. the rest of the
ranks (including rankless and loners) don't need PM.
↪ Your character form needs a picture, basic information such as age and gender, and
personality. There are no perfect characters, so make sure they also have flaws.
↪ Joining as a pup or pregnant female is allowed. Though if you decide to mate in the
roleplay, fade to black.
↪ Relationship chart isn't necessary, but it's a nice addition that helps in roleplaying.

Leader
Nikan | male | link
Leader is the most important individual in the pack. This dog's
duties include making decisions to provide safety and peace
within the pack and outside of it. The leader can be challenged
and when defeated, the winner claims the title.Deputy
Brutus | male | link
Second most important dog in the pack. This individual can
temporarily fulfill leader's duties when the alpha is absent,
sick or there is no leader at all (when new one is being chosen
after previous one's death, for example).
Deputy can also lead most important and risky trips to the
town or forest. Deputy can also be challenged like the leader.Hunters

Their job is to provide food to the pack. They need to be fast,
smart and strong, because they often have to go to the town
or deeper forest. Hunters' leader is the toughest of them all,
responsible for their safety and organization during hunts. If
a dog/apprentice wants to become a hunter, they need to join
a hunting party and prove their skills there. Whether they can
claim the rank of a hunter or not is the decision of the lead
hunter.

They're the best in the pack when it comes to recognizing and
using herbs. It's a very important and responsible rank, as these
dogs heal sick members. Herbalists are chosen by their leader
carefully, because if one has bad intentions, herbs can be used
to poison a dog. They often take dangerous trips into the deep
forest in search of herbs that they need.
↪ apprentices:

Lili | female | link | mentorRankless
↪ nurses:

The pregnant females of the pack or ones that choose to take
care of pups. They spend time within the pack's territory and
are rarely allowed to go outside of it. Their responsibility is to
keep pups safe.
↪ pups:

name | gender | open | parent/---
↪ subordinates:

name | gender | open

name | gender | open
Dogs that didn't decide which rank to claim. They are the lowest
in hierarchy, because they have no set duties, only do things that
higher-ranked tell them to. Dogs that are new and just joined the
pack also have this rank. They aren't allowed to leave the territory,
unless they want to prove themselves to become a hunter/herbalist
and are under lead hunter/herbalist's watch.Positions in hierarchy:
Leader
Deputy
Leader's / Deputy's mate
Lead Hunter = Lead Herbalist
Hunters = Herbalists
Pregnant females = Pups
Nurses
Apprentices

They chose to live on their own. These dogs either roam the town's
streets or the forest. They are the pack's enemies, because they
often steal their supplies.
Loners can live alone or form small groups to make survival easier
for them. A loner can try to join a pack, but can be rejected when
not trusted or accepted as a subordinate.

The pack's territory is quite large, the pack's camp with dens is located in the middle, surrounded
by dense vegetation. There's a lake and a stream within the boundaries. Because of the size
of the territory, it is often intruded by dangerous predators and loners. In search of prey or
other sources of food, dogs have to leave the territory and either go deeper into the forest
or to the town. Both options are very risky and from time to time a dog or two never come
back.
↦ Wolves. Their haunting howls can be heard especially at night, but no dog has ever seen one of them.
It is believed that no dog can survive the encounter with this animal.
↦ Bears. They can only be chased away by a larger group of dogs when necessary. Have to be avoided at all costs.
↦ Humans. They often wander into the forest to hunt, won't hesitate to shoot a dog. They're the most
dangerous in the town. Dog catcher will take any dog to the shelter, and it's impossible to escape it, only
few has done that.
