ββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββββ pets and strays have been stolen from new york city.
they've been taken from their homes/ territories and dumped in a forest
miles and miles from their homes. these dogs are determined to
get back home and have now formed a pack. one brave dog
takes charge and decides he will help them return.
this leader has traveled there many times, but it is a long
trip. they will be faced with many dangerous challenges
on their journey. will this pack learn to work together, or will they struggle to
survive against the weather and predators they will come across?
v1. here. returning roleplayers,
we will be resuming where we left off. the dogs are now leaving
and heading out towards the meadow.
disclaimer;; typically, and i both own this roleplay together.

this is a semi literate roleplay. at a minimum i expect roughly 200
words per post, more is always better but quality over quantity is alright at times!
and please make sure not to go very far without me
and/or @typically. no more than three pages unless we notify that you can all move ahead! one;; follow tess' rules. two;; this is going to be a longer lived roleplay.
please try to be active within the roleplay. if you'll be gone for a while then please let me or typically, know.
three;; drama is fine! fights, romance, sickness, etc. just make sure not to over-do it and ask if you're unsure. so yes, drama is okay as long as it's within cs rules and so long as you can keep it between characters and not with the user! hate the character, not the person playing them. four;; if you have any questions, issues, or ideas for the roleplay then please message me!
five;; post all forms and ooc on the discussion thread, also please remove signatures! it makes the thread
look much cleaner. six;; try to have a variety in dog breeds! it's no fun to have eight siberian huskies also we're only going to accept very few wolfdogs. this is a dog roleplay. seven;; please make sure to specify whether your dog was a stray or pet in your forms. eight;; you aren't allowed to start with a puppy character (under one year) but they can be born into the roleplay. nine;; last rule, i promise! no overpowered characters. each character needs to have strengths and flaws i also recommend only having as many characters as you can handle. no more than four at once. characters might die in this rp since they will be fighting the climates, etc.
by the way, starting with a pregnant female is okay. when a female
has a litter of pups other people can play the pups and make forms for
them as long as they first contact the user who plays the mother!
disclaimer;; typically, and i both own this roleplay. typically,
can also accept or decline character forms and she has just as much ownership
in this roleplay as i do!

forest. the pack starts off in
a forest and they will get to know each other
here, this is where their big journey begins before
they even know it! this area is vast and buzzing
with life. there are many birds, rabbits,
squirrels and plants surrounding
the dogs. the prey here is plentiful.
the potential dangers here are snakes, poison
ivy, and although it doesn't inhabit
the main area of the forest, there's a
grizzly bear deep within the woods.
meadow. after some time in the forest,
they will stumble upon a vast field.
these meadows are bright and peaceful. the meadow
has mice, birds and foxes here as prey.
there are plenty of those animals, but they
aren't exactly filling. there isn't much
shelter here so the dogs spend their nights
hidden within the flowers or under
a tree. there's a stream that runs through these
fields for the dogs to swim in and
get water. the meadows go on
for a good while until there are less plants
and it becomes slightly colder.
xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
cabin. from the meadows, they will come
down a slightly lengthy path then the pack
will reach a unoccupied, and cozy cabin. it
will provide them warmth
and a place to sleep. at this point
the pack is beginning to realize this
won't be a constant journey, they
will stop and have plenty of time
to chat among themselves. some dogs
may see this as a good thing, but some
might start dreading the trip to come.
around this area has similar prey to the forest.

mountains. these mountains are tall and steep,
it will be difficult for weak or sick dogs to get through them.
prey is tough to find due to the freezing temperatures
and will take the entire pack to catch meals. the predators
that roam here are mountain lions. the prey consists
mostly of caribou, snowhares and the
occasional mountain goat. these mountains are
very steep. far too steep for the dogs to travel
all the way through therefore they will
take a shortcut through an icy cavern. it will be difficult
for dogs with short fur to adjust to the climate changes.

caves. from the mountain, they will wander through the icy caves.
the caves are dark and freezing cold. if someone misses a step it could send
icicles flying down at them. coyotes live outside of the cave,
just around the area but there aren't many to worry about.
a thin path runs through the cave systems for the dogs to follow.
the pack won't have to bare the cavern for long (if everything runs smoothly).
once they reach the end they will come to one more wooded area.
the dogs will spend only a few days in these woods before they
find a bridge. all dogs will have to cross the bridge but it is
broken and unstable.

tracks. after trekking for a while, the pack will come to nearly their last destination
before the city. the dogs will land to a large area full
of trees but not much sunshine. they'll find a set of train
tracks and once the train rolls by, it will come to a stop. each dog will have to hop on
the train and stick close with the pack. if not, they risk being
left behind. the train is stuffy but has comfortable
straw sacks and old cloths that the dogs can
curl up in. they will have to escape once a group
of men find them in the train's cart. after that it's roughly
a day's run before reaching the city. finally, home.
the whole journey will take about five months for the dogs. it will be a true test on how loyal man's best friend really is.
