Welcome to the city. It is the place that many strays call home, but do not fear. You can make a decent living here if you're smart enough. In this city of destitute, you may find many like yourself, abandoned and alone. They too have no real place to call home, their people may have thrown them out, died or they're just gone. Of course, this place isn't easy to live in. There is little food and even less water, though you might get lucky and have the occasional friendly person give you a small scrap but don't count on it. Most people would rather tell you to scram. People do not like us drinking from the puddles after the rain, the food that we manage to find is old and stale or wild. Diseases are quite common among us, and finding a safe place to sleep at night can prove to be difficult, occasionally shelter is found beneath the broken buildings left behind by people, just as we were. However, most time we are forced to sleep in alleyways with no protection from the rain and cold winds. Life isn't easy out here without your precious people. They are no longer here for you. they abandoned you along with the others, to starve and die in your panic to survive. They knew what would become of you all, yet they still left you. Now you must care for yourselves. Your days will be spent searching for anything that could let you survive to the next day. You can stay wandering alone, or join the ever-growing packs of abandoned dogs. Both come with their own problems.

All dogs start as loners!

One. Follow all of the basic rules of CS.
Two. Be active! I expect at least a post every two or so days.
Three. PM me all reservations.
Four. Only one high rank per person.
Five. You must post all forms and OOC on the discussion thread (yet to be made).
Six. All characters must be realistic, they are all normal stray dogs so they may have injuries. No wolf-dogs, or images that look like wolf hybrids please. All dogs must be over a year of age. Pregnant dogs are not allowed straight away, that will come in time.
Seven. LGBT+ characters are allowed, just don't make all your characters LGBT+. Dogs can identify as a different gender than to their sex, but there can't be a biological change, there isn't a sex change surgery for dogs!
Eight. This is semi-lit! I expect a paragraph or two at the least.
Nine. Disable your signatures when posting on the main and the discussion thread. It makes things messy when they're enabled.
Ten. Keep the discussion thread talk related to the role-play as much as possible, otherwise, use PM's.
Eleven. No sexual or overly graphic posts. If two dogs mate then you fade to black, insinuate it don't explicitly say it. This is a forum that young children can access! Obviously, these dogs are going to get into fights, just don't go too in-depth with injuries. 'A slice across the dogs face begins to bleed' is fine, talking about muscles and tendons being visible in gory detail is not.
Twelve. You will be allowed to have three dogs at the max, there are limited slots! Remember to keep genders even!
Thirteen. Make your forms pretty. There is a post underneath that includes the minimal required information. Do not just post this information by itself, write about other things too!
Fourteen. Have relationships develop over time, you can have set up crushes and such but keep it realistic! Drama is encouraged, and in this setting, it won't be hard to find.
Fifteen. PM me for anything too drastic, eg deaths, big scale fights etc
Sixteen. I have the right to decline people for this roleplay, if I don't think you can write enough then I won't accept you.
Seventeen. Enjoy the roleplay!

This is the minimum information that I want you to post. Please write about more than what is just here. Please pretty them up as well. By doing these things, it helps me decide if I want to accept you into this roleplay; it tells me about the amount of effort you will put into this roleplay and how good you are at writing. Post it in the discussion thread (yet to be made!)

Post an image of your dog. It must be an actual dog. If the image only shows the head of the dog, include a description of its body or include a separate image, using a link, to show it's body markings somewhere in your form.
Name. Try and relate it to its breed, for example, a Russian breed will have a Russian (sounding) name.
Age. Dogs must not be any younger than 6 months old. If the dog is younger than a year old they must be accompanied by another one of your characters. A young dog would be lucky to survive by itself.
Gender. Speaks for itself.
Personality. This will give other users an idea as to if the relationship between each other's dogs will be good or bad in the future.
Skills. Don't make a perfect dog, every dog has its strengths and weaknesses. Try and relate it to your dogs breed.
History. Use this to maybe explain the personality of the dog, or how they ended up on the streets.
Relationships to the other dogs. I recommend posting this separately to your main form for your dogs.

Once some of the dogs have grouped up, rules will be established. They will be posted here for future notice. Any dog found breaking these laws will be punished. The severity of the punishment will come from what law they have broken and on how many instances.
