You are alone, wandering the streets of New York City. The city pound has closed, they set all the strays free. They catch no strays. You are a Lone Roamer. No dog can trust anyone, not even family. Your soft pads are peeling of your paws, your nose is scratched and scared. You have to fend for yourself. You may meet trustworthy dogs, but they are hard to find.

Ashfall demands respect from those around her, her bravery in battle and during troubled times has earned her honor and fame among other dogs. Strangers will quickly learn of her name, and those who stand up to her will learn their places. She is strong, strict and battle-eager. Yet, for those close to her, Ashfall would never bear a fang, she is dedicated to care for his friends and family even if it means she, herself , should perish.

Ashfall padded down an alley way, a small rat swinging from her jaws - its eyes wide but unseeing, its neck twisted awkwardly - she settled down next to a dumpster in a bed she had made. The bed was made of soggy cardboard and bags of black plastic bags and the alleyway where it rested was quiet and rarely disturbed; as far as she could scent she was the only dog there and the alleyway stank of her scent. She ate the rat, the bitter and tough meat was chewy and tasteless but it was all she had. Once finished she took the inedible remains and perching on her hind legs and using the dumpster as a support she dropped them into the waste before lowering to the ground again. She liked to keep where she lived clean, and basic tasks such as throwing away the dirt kept it as such. She padded back towards the street, muscles rippling smoothly under her clean and well-kept pelt.

Neko lay in the remains of a derelict house just outside a dimlit street covered in orange lamp posts. He was curled up in a ball and in a deep sleep when he woke to a scuttling sound on the wooded floor. A rat had ran across the ground. He got up and chased after it. After killing it with one swift movement of his paw he chucked it down his throat in one. He saw a cupboard was lying open so he crawled into it and curled up again.

Ashfall scented another dog and padded toward the scent. Her paws hit the ground quietly, she saw a cupboard laying open and the scent strong within. She approached cautiously, a soft growl in her throat increasing with volume with ever paw step. She waited outside, wondering if the other dog would show its face before she sought it out. She could now also smell the dog's prey, though the scent was fading and she knew she wouldn't be able to get any easy seconds - besides it was just another rat. She had her teeth bared and ready should there be a fight.

Neko heard a soft growl outside his cupboard. He peeked his head out and saw a large dog outside it. He flattened his ears and backed of deeper into the cupboard, "Don't attack me, please." he was wimpering since he was such a smaller dog. He looked through the gap where the hindge connected the door of the cupboard to the sides, she was still there.

Ashfall softened her growl, "I will not. You are close to my territory." She replied, before sitting and scratching her ear; seeing how small the dog was she felt no threat from them. She began to groom her fur to show her relaxation, there was nothing to gain from a fight. She waited for the other dog to emerge, curling her tail around her toughened paws. The smell of the streets strong in her nose, though she found it distasteful, it was the smell of home.

"Okay..." he said, pushing the cupboard door ajar and emerging out of it. His tail had flattened and it was held between his legs. He straightened his ears and sat watching the dog. He licked his own paws and rubbed his ear out of instinct since Inus are always cleaning themselves. He was quite clean since their coats are ment to repel dirt ayways. "I'm Neko." he looked at the dog while he spoke.
