Somewhere, hidden deep in North America, lies a place untainted by mankind. Here, wild creatures
roam and thrive. But not without hardships. There is one animal that shakes
the land like thunder when he runs. The Wild Horse. In this place the humans
have not found, their biggest predators are the more natural ones. Instead of guns there are claws.
Instead of helicopters there are earthquakes and disasters. Most stallions hope for
the same thing, a flourishing herd. While with mares there is sometimes a little more variety.
Whatever you desire, can you achieve it? Or will this 'Eden's' enhanced forces knock you out?

cs rules;; must be obeyed at all times. They were put on this site for a reason.
literacy & grammar;; since this is in the Semi-Literate category I do except at least five lines per post, hopefully more. Do try and use decent spelling and grammar, if you find it difficult use a word checking program.
forms;; please use your own. I love pretty forms, they show literacy :] If you really do not have one message me and I will give you a form to use.
realism;;the horses can talk. Do try to make it realistic though! I will not accept a 500hh purple pony... Mares usually cannot outrun stallions if they are being snaked but do what you want I guess! Just have fun!
godmodding, powerplaying & mary sues;; No. Just no. Everything has flaws and everybody loses fights or whatever... sometimes. Please do not do any of those three as it is extremely annoying for fellow roleplayers
activity;;If you join I expect you to post. Simple as that. If you are going to be away please notify me :]
characters;; Try to keep them evenish. You can make as many as you like as long as you keep them all active. Really five horses is quite a lot so I wouldn't go too much higher than that.
respect;; Please respect me and your other roleplayers. It's no fun if you are constantly being rude to them, in or out of character (Out of character consistent rudeness will not be tolerated.)

Remember guys! Have fun! This Rp is now... OPEN!
Just for clarification, in 'Eden' the predators and disasters are stronger. So if your horse gets attacked by a wolf, it's claws may be very strong. If there is an earthquake it is usually quite disruptive.
It is spring. Mares are in heat. If covered, foals can be born in the next season which would be summer.
Spring 0/7

"I have no s p e c i a l talents. I am only passionately c u r i o u s."
Name → This young mare goes by 'Kiona'. Her friends often call her, Ki, Kio or KiKi. The name means 'brown hills' she was named after the terrain she was born on.
Numbers → Kiona is about six years old so is still relativity young. She stands at 15.2hh and weighs around 926 lbs.
Outside Information → Kiona is a very pretty leopard appaloosa mare. Her mane is a light flaxen, as is her tail. She has soft brown eyes and a blaze running down her face. Her conformation is pretty good and she is overall a nice looking horse.
Disposition → Curiosity is Kiona's most fervent trait. Fear doesn't seem to restrict her, which can be both a blessing and a curse. Many times, Ki runs into trouble or hurts the horses she cares about because of her foolish inquisitiveness. Other times, she discovers amazing things. As well as curious, the mare is bold and willful. She voices her opinions without doubt, though sometimes she sounds a bit silly. The mare doesn't like to be quieted or told what to do and becomes worked up quite quickly. She is extremely bull-headed and stubborn, her opinions seem to be set in stone. Despite her fiery side, Kiona can be a sweet horse. She always tries to be gentle and welcoming, though sometimes her sparking temper suggests otherwise. Through all these powerful traits, Kiona has a strange flaw. She is afraid to lead. The mare resists ever becoming a lead mare simply because she doesn't want to be blamed for other's consequences. This phobia often leads her to be pushed lower in the pecking order. However, this year she is set on getting over it.
Positive Traits → Bold, curious, willful, sweet, gentle.
Negative Traits → Curious, temperamental, bull-headed, stubborn, resents leadership
The Past → Her history is nothing special. She was born to a small herd where she frolicked until three. Kiona then happily set off into the large word, adamant to discover everything. She has accompanied a few herds but each soon broke apart for various reasons. Now she's a loner, with no real plan, just the will to survive.
Anything Else? → At the moment she has no foals. She has no stallion/herd

• Name: Golden Blizzard
• Nickname: Blizz
• Age: 4
• Gender: Mare
• Foals: None
• Stallion: No one yet
• Height: 16.1hh
• Coat: Palomino Blanket Appaloosa
• Mane and Tail: Creamy white
• Eyes: Deep brown
• Dam: Summer Snowstorm
• Sire: Frozen Desire
• Breed: Appaloosa x Mustang
• Other? Nope
» personality; Blizz is a smart and lively young mare, she is bold, confident and very stubborn. Although not mean, Blizz can be bossy at times, and does like to be the one in charge, but she is patient at the same time. Blizz is about equal with her flaws and strengths, she is never shy and very outgoing, some would say she was fearless but Blizz knows that isn't true. The mare is quite afraid of lighting, it reminds her of the time she was separated from her birth herd in a savage storm that rocked the night. The youngster is gutsy and brave usually, but useless and small in storms.
» history; Apart from the raging storm that took the spotted horse from her herd Blizz's history is about as exciting as a rock and not some fancy multicoloured rock more like a dull grey stone, no different to all the others dotted along the sand. Blizz spent a good year months frolicking and playing by her herd and dam's side, and by then she was on to eating grass but she still couldn't fend for herself very well. It had been a gloriously sunny day before nightfall when a harsh cold rain suddely came falling from the darkening sky. A small rain soon turned to a heavy rain which proceeded into a savage storm. Trees blew frantically and the wind raged like an angry bull. The small filly was already quite frightened but then she lost her way and wandered mindlessly into the storm and away from her herd. Alone and terrified the filly jumped at every sound, she knew the dangers if being alone. A young filly, in the dark, helpless in a storm, any predator would be over the moon to find her. When the storm finally ended, it was morning Blizz was badly shaken up, eventually her herd found her and Blizz was relieved. Ever since then her terror of storms had not moved an inch. Other than that her history is pretty bland, she left her herd when she was two and spent some time in a few different herds until now where she roams as a lone mare. For now...

(Sure thing :]
All the horses start out as loners though, once you get a mare to join your stallion his name will be listed under the Herds thing.)

gender;; stallion
rank;; bachelor
mares;; n/a
foals;; n/a
height;; 17.5 hands
coat;; shiny black
markings;; n/a
mane and tail;; black
eyes;; chocolate brown
breed;; friesian
personality -
Obsidian is a bold, strong and brave stallion. Although he might seem cold and intimidating at first, he is kind and caring in the end. However, despite his kindness to mares and some stallions, he can be incredibly fierce and aggressive. Standing at 17.5 hands high, Obsidian can easily snake a mare, although he prefers not to. If a mare is unwilling to join his herd on his own, however, it is very possible that he will.
history -
Surprisingly enough, Obsidian wasn't the stallion he is today. Born to an unknown Friesian pair, he was frail and incredibly scrawny for his breed. It was expected that he wouldn't survive the rest of the season. A few months after he was born, when he was finally weaned, a tragic event occurred. While moving to a different place to graze, an enormous earthquake shook the ground. His parents and the miniscule amount of other horses were killed, leaving him alone and terrified. Since then he has roamed North America, taking residence in an unknown territory to humans, way less frail and scrawny than he used to be. Due to his experiences, the stallion is not to fond of earthquakes.
