Junior shook out his mane and nuzzled the girl to tease the stallion that he was with the girl and he wasn't. Flicking his tail he looked to the other girl and shook out his mane and watched the two girls silently, (wb sorry)

Crystal shh'd the mare gently, coaxing her with her voice and once more gently running her fingers in a soothing manner through the mare's mane. She didn't want her frightened and she knew she wouldn't be able to leave the mare's side if she decided to fall asleep in the stall. So, she was going to take her to an open pasture. Slowly Crystal led the horse out of the stables. No one was really around the ranch. Most of them had gone to the stables to see their horses so the two were practically alone and away from the stable commotion now. "That's a girl... good girl. Just follow me," she murmured soothingly, gently placing her hands on either side of the mare's head gently to act like blinders while still using one hand to caress her mane. She knew horses could be easily spooked and read that they were more at ease when focusing directly ahead of them and not with the wide range of vision they had so long as nothing came from the side and honestly, Crystal wasn't expecting anything or anyone to do such a thing. Sometimes, it helped that Crystal was such a bookworm.

Elle followed the girl, her heart racing as they walked out into the open, it was quiet, everyone else was with their horses. Elle knew this girl was not hers. She could tell by her scent, she already had another horse. She was curious who owned her. Elle's head lowered as the girl covered her eyes. It was calming to know she was there and not going to leave Elle. Elle started to feel like she was a regular horse, and not one that was insane. She walked smoothly again, giving all her trust she had to Crystal as she led her on.

Crystal smiled gently, watching as the mare in front of her calmed down, head lowered and giving all her trust to her. She had never worked with horses before, especially not like this but oddly, she felt a connection to this mare. It may not be her own horse and she knew she likely never would be but she was happy to have made friends with her and helped her. She felt happiness soar in her, not in the fact that she was working with this mare as if she had worked with horses all her life but in the fact that she had managed to help one and on her first day spent personally with horses. It was a thrill and yet outwardly and even inwardly she was calm, even if her joyfully fast paced heartbeat wasn't calm.

She gently led the mare, with her hands acting as blinders, to an empty pasture. She replaced one hand with her head and gently whispered into the mare's ear in a soft voice. "Calm girl... I'm going to open another gate. But here, you'll have a lot more room and you'll be free and safe," she promised gently, using her freed hand to open the gate behind her. Of course, it had a bit of a squeak but due to swinging it open a bit quickly as the horse wouldn't see it, it had a much lower, almost inaudible to the human ear squeak. Geez, they really needed to oil these things.

Crystal led the mare into the pasture now and then unclipped the lead rope from her harness, finally moving away gently with a kiss to the horse's forehead before she closed the pasture gate though with her still on the inside. The paddock that she was in was empty of horses and it was pretty large, enough for her to stretch her legs, run, and feel the wind in her mane again. Crystal gestured to it gently. "You should feel safe here, girl... no confining walls and the freedom to stretch your legs and run," she cooed gently, petting the horse with a gentle smile, running her fingers through the mare's mane, knowing how it seemed to soothe her before. To be quite honest, she was very surprised at how her first encounter had gone with a horse, especially one that didn't seem to know the life of human contact and stalls. Crystal had no knowledge on horses but what she had read in her books and it seemed in this case, it was all she needed... as well as the small amount of help from another horse in the stall next to her. That also helped and she would have to thank the horse later for it.

Elle nudged the girl as she unclipped the lead line, thanking her in her own way. She slowly backed up then turning on her haunches to gallop down the fence line. Letting out a squeal of happiness as she frolicked through the field. It may not have been the field she grew up in, and it did have boundires. But it was better than a confined stall. She knew she would always have a place for Crystal even if she was never her true owner. No human ever truly owns a horse, they only borrow their lives.

Crystal felt a surge of joy and freedom come from within her own self as the mare nudged her and knew it was what the horse was feeling as she frolicked about the field now, happiness showing in her squeal and in her frolic. She may not own these feelings but she was happy that the mare was happy and no longer frightened. She watched from outside the paddock, leaning on the fence and watching the mare run around, her gaze one of gentle joyfulness. She had helped and it made her feel warm and fuzzy inside as it always did and couple that with the way the mare's feelings were rubbing off on her, it made her want to skip about as well.

She moved off a bit from the fence, a little uncertain about leaving the mare but if she didn't want her to leave, that was fine by her. She would stay if the mare wanted it. However, she was probably late as it was for class though she couldn't exactly tell without a watch. Speaking of a watch, she should have bought one before coming here... Stupid brain, she reprimanded herself. Well, it was too late now. Instead, she headed back to the stables to look at the board for today's schedule though on the way she accidentally ran into someone. She made a sort of squeak noise and fell backwards onto the grass, frowning. "I'm so sorry..! I didn't mean to..." she murmured shyly to the person, standing up and dusting herself off a moment before she would get a good look at the person she ran into.

{Btw the person Crystal ran into can be anyone they wish. :3 And also, she's not far from Elle's field just so you know 4 T R I S :3}
