Riversong wandered back to camp, wondering what her apprentice was up to. She wasn't quite in the mood for training him at the moment... She felt the need to talk to someone though. Riversong padded into camp and noticed her leader eating. Padding over to her, she sat down. "Silverstar? May I... Um... Ask you for some advice?" Riversong said softly, looking around to make sure Eagletalon-or any other tom cat for that matter-was around.

she looked up to see riversong asking her for some advice. she pushed the bones to her left with her paw. "sure. do we need to go to my den?" she asked, hushing her voice slightly. she thought of riversong as a friend. she smiled pushing herself up.

she wolfed down the herbs in front of her, not wanting to taste it. then a few moments later it sank into her taste buds. she scrunched her nose but nodded thanks to owlleaf and lostpaw. "thank you!" she meowed gratefully before padding out of the den and settling herself outside of the nursery. she looked down at her belly once more. "I'll take good care of you. I swear." she vowed with a small smile. she hoped that most of them looked like their father, or acted like the tom.

Riversong felt heat rush to her face and she looked abashed. She looked at her paws, her thoughts running. "If it's alright, yes please." Riversong muttered softly, standing up. She took a step back and looked over at Silverstar's den. Riversong felt nervous, what exactly would she say? I have a crush and don't know if he notices me? She knew she was walking on dangerous territory, but she trusted Silverstar and considered her a good friend.

The tom's fur bristled slightly, "Oh! Lostpaw... I didn't see you there." He admitted, sitting himself down next to her. "Morninglight is doing fine... the kits are strong and healthy from what I can tell." He explained. Owlleaf waved his tail gently from side to side. "Would you like to come on a walk with me to collect herbs today?" The calico medicince cat asked, he knew that Lostpaw loved to get out of the camp but wasn't too keen on being with an escort. Sighing gently, "If you would like of course. you may not want to go." Owlleaf teased, a small smile forming on his jowls."But if you want to, I'd go ask the Silverstar before the patrols leave."

Nodding silently, the she-cat waited a few moments before speaking, "Alright. Its been a while since we patrolled the ocean border, correct?" Sedgewing was very precise when she wanted to be and that wasn't very often. However, the musky scents of the forest kept distracting her, she would stop every now and then but only for a few seconds before continuing on. In all fairness, the she-cat couldn't wait to go to the beach. It had been a while since she had been there and she remembered it to be mesmerising. The rolling waves. Beautiful sunsets. Not to mention the abundance of catch when the tide went out. By far is what Sedgewing's favourite place to be.

"No, it's nothing on the territory..." Riversong said, shifting uncomfortably. "It's more personal... I um... I really like this tom... And I'm not entirely sure that he realizes it and I don't know how to know if he knows or if he likes me... I think he might even like a different she cat..." Riversong shifted again, looking down at her paws. "I, uh... I like Eagletalon." she admitted softly.

Lostpaw stayed quiet for a moment, then finally spoke. "er... I guess it wouldn't be so bad to get some fresh air." the molly meowed in reply to her mentor. "Do we leave right now?" She asked, flicking her ears as she was suddenly overwhelmed by the noise in camp. Sometimes all the sounds and scents could get a bit jumbled up and confuse the medicine cat apprentice. Those were the times she really hated, because it made her panic a little, made her feel helpless. Lostpaw took a eep breath, trying to calm herself and focus only on Owlleaf.

The tom watched her silence, she was thinking and her response was exactly what he had expected. Owlleaf listened contently to her question, "If you want to leave right now we can, I'm still to ask Silverstar for permission." He explained diligently to her, keeping his voice calm. The way her body tense told him she was a little panicked. Probably the noise, he thought to himself. Owlleaf licked the apprentices head for reassurance. "You'll be fine..." The tabby tom muttered towards her softly.

Riversong almost started to hyperventilate when Silverstar said she was going to go and tell Eagletalon. She blushed and looked at her paws when her leader came back. "That makes sense. I'm just not very good making friends. I pretty much only have you..." Riversong admitted, blushing. "I know you don't have and never had had a mate... But I thought that you would... I don't know... Know something?" She added softly, her eyes still fixated on her paws.
