Stumble is a kind and determined warrior, her mind always set on what she has to do. She is a very focused cat and is very strategic when it comes to making plans and setting goals. She tries to keep a positive outlook on life while at the same time trying to be practical about situations that could potentially cause harm to the clan or to herself. She has a natural motherly instinct, but she has never had any kits of her own. Polite and generous, Stumble does not gossip or degrade any of her fellow clan members and treats them as closely as her family. Most often, tries to ignore the stares and questions she gets about her deformity, but occasionally the comments get the best of her and she spends a few hours in doldrums. She never lets one thing keep her from being productive or making her depressed. She is most basically a "live and let learn" type of personality.
нιѕтory::
Stumble was born in secret, the result of a forbidden romance spiraling out of control. Her father had several genetic faults, but none of them were shown physically in his composure. How could Stumble's mother know that her kits would be born so grotesque and misshapen? Stumbles mother, Poppy, did not want to raise her kits after being constantly made fun of and whispered about by her other friends. She gave the kits away to their father, a loner named Frost. Stumble, along with her two brothers, was raised far from their mother. She was separated from her brothers not long after Frost was killed by an oncoming car on the highway. She taught herself to hunt and defend herself, making allies with a few other stray cats in the area but never forming any close bonds. She lived this way for many seasons until one day, while out on a hunt, she came upon a scrawny, pale cat that seemed very sad. She walked over to him, planning on comforting him, when all of a sudden she realized that it was her younger brother Celandine. They had a joyous reunion, not much later joined by their brother as well.

Celandine is in no way childish or dumb despite his crossed, impaired eyes. He is very neat and proper and is quite the perfectionist, demanding order from himself (as well as others on occasion) and always makes sure to carry out orders and duties in an exactly precise fashion. Although he is completely loyal to his clan now, he does sometimes feel a bit nostalgic when he thinks of his kittypet days, so he continues to wear his collar even though it is old and rotting. He is very smart and practical, and is the one to talk to if you ever need advice or medical help.
нιѕтory::
After his father died, Celandine fell into a deep depression, unable to eat or sleep or even think. He was a shell with nothing but emptiness inside, and felt so numb that he barely had the will to go on. He was separated from his sister by accident a few weeks after his brother left them to be on his own, which made it even harder for Celandine to survive. What he needed was love, and all he had was loneliness. One day, a twoleg took him into its home and fed him, gave him affection. It was the first sign of love - or food - Celandine had seen in the longest time. He lived with his twoleg for as long as he could remember until one day, the old twoleg tom died of old age. The cross-eyed cat was left alone again, and thought his life was over until he was gloriously reunited with his older sister.

He is a stiff and stone-cold cat, almost never giving away any certain emotion besides hostility. He stays mostly to himself, not talking much unless needed and often seen muttering or twitching his ears as he watches his siblings do childish things. Amber has an almost cruel way of thinking, often trying to resolve things by fighting rather than by talking things out or trying to make a compromise. He has the "conquer all" mindset of a rogue, even though he promised his sister that he would never go back to that way of life. His temper is dangerous and his hunger for power gets him in trouble at times. Secretly, he does care for the ones that are close to them, and deep down, they know that he loves them.
нιѕтory::
After his father died, Amber felt like he was old enough to live on his own, leaving his siblings to fend for himself. It was hard, having to hunt and fight for scraps of food just to stay alive. That is, until he found Talon. Talon was a fierce rogue, leading a small group of tough cats that called themselves the Vultures. The Vultures lived in loose alliance, but often fought each other as well as other animals for food and shelter. The young tom quickly learned that in this world, it was kill or be killed. Amber was not going to be killed. One night, after the others had fallen asleep, Amber tried to kill Talon in his sleep. Talon was larger, stronger, and more skilled than Amber, easily defeating him and preparing for the death blow when Amber managed to slip from Talon's grip and ran as fast and far as he could from the band of rogues. In his frantic running, Amber slammed head-on into Celandine and, not recognizing him, viciously took off his brother's ear. Slowly, as his adrenaline-fear died down, Amber realized who he had attacked and acknowledged that his brother was alive and well. His sister was there too, but she was so angry at him for hurting Celandine that it wasn't much of an exciting reunion. Eventually, they settled things out and decided to combine their skills and currently live together in the wild.

The young she-cat had to practically run to keep up with CoalFrost's long stride. She had only met the tom a few days ago when she had bumped into him in the woods. She hadn't been scared of him, in fact she had been happy to met someone to talk to. He seemed a little cold on the outside but she had gotten to know him over the past few days and found he was really rather a softy. Her stomach growled and she hoped he would stop for a snack. She was glad for the company but he hardly stopped for food. Perhaps that was all good and well for him, a grown Tom, but she was still growing, she was only 6 moons old. She needed food and good food at that. She picked up her pace again and managed to catch up enough to trot along at his side. "Are we going to stop yet Mister CoalFrost?" She asked in a sweet voice, she looked at him with her best sad eye expression and hoped that he would stop. She was getting rather tired of all this. Still he offered her protection and though she was young she was fairly mature for her age and understood that being alone at 6 moons was a good way to get yourself eaten by hawks or coyotes or simply murdered by some ruthless Tom. She didn't slow her steps but she again gave CoalFrost a sad look. The look had worked on her father many times, perhaps CoalFrost was no different. Her mind slipped away from food for a moment as she thought about the dream she had dreamt a week or so before. The dream of going to The Great Rock and meeting 6 others. She had mentioned it to CoalFrost and he said he knew of a Great Rock and would take her there. Then her stomach growled again and she was brought back to the here and now.

CoalFrost bit back a sharp reply to the young apprentice at his side. The she-cat had proved to be not a helpless young kit but a feisty and rather smart apprentice. He of course would not leave her alone and had agreed to let her join him in his search for a clan, a few days before he had caught the scent of some cats, whether they were in a clan or not he didn't know, but he aimed to find out. Plus he needed to get the young apprentice to the Great Rock before Winter. Sadly DovePaw, as she called herself, was still young and needed to rest and eat more then he did. She also was slower and not used to his quick pace. Even now she struggled to keep up with him. He slowed his pace to a more slow walk and he should find her some food. If they did find a clan he wanted her to be healthy and able to work. A clan wouldn't want to take in a weak apprentice. Besides he had to admit he did have a sort of soft spot for DovePaw. Not that he would admit that out loud to anyone. But it was alright to admit it to himself. He glanced at DovePaw and held back a smile at her sad face. "Alright Miss DovePaw, what should we try to hunt down today?" CoalFrost had taken to teaching DovePaw skills like hunting and fighting when he could. If they ever found a clan at least she wouldn't be behind and would be able to become a warrior with the others her age. And DovePaw soaked up his training like a sponge. She was quick to learn and already was showing signs of being a great fighter. He heard a twig snap not far away and quickly placed himself over DovePaw glaring toward the sound, a growl rising in his throat. A BlueJay flew out of a bush and he relaxed. DovePaw laughed. "I don't think the bird is going to hurt us, now how about a couple of mice?" CoalFrost scanned the area even after DovePaws words. Then he nodded. "Alright, mice it is."

Amberleaf
{ Loner | Female | 32 moons }

The innocent she-cat woke with a start in her small makeshift nest, one composed of twigs and leaves. The scent of blood hung fresh in her nostrils and seemed attached to her pelt. For the third day in a row, Amberleaf had experienced a terrible nightmare with an omen attached to its text. Surely, this was not the work of StarClan; they hadn't spoken with her since the devastation of her Clan. Though she didn't doubt the presence of StarClan, she often questioned how they could be so cruel and ruthless, to watch more than a dozen of their kin die of famine and disease right before their very star-tipped paws. But Amberleaf held up to her beliefs; StarClan was all that she had, and she was certain that they would speak to her eventually. Today did not seem to be that day.

Amberleaf knew of the dark powers that lie opposite of StarClan, and she didn't even think once about skipping the meeting. She recited the scripture in her head countless times: The doom of our time draws near. Our future rests in the paws of the Seven. The young one. The cold one. The fighter. The healer. The survivor. The faithful. And the one with the blazing eyes. Unite at Great Rock at Winter's Solstice, and then our fate will be decided. She pondered over the seven categories, drawing conclusions for each one; one cat would be an apprentice or young warrior, one would have an unbreakable shell, one would be strong, one would heal others either in physical or emotional health, one would have survived a terrible tragedy, and one would have had to remain faithful to something or someone. But blazing eyes? Was the term to be taken literally or fluidly? Assuming that this message was beyond StarClan's realms, she concluded that she was the healer. Even if the dream was caused by something she ate or even stress, she would still show up to prove herself right - or perhaps wrong.

Now that she had gathered her thoughts, Amberleaf felt a sense of adrenaline. Her life had been nothing more than survival ever since that terrible day when LightClan split; she felt worthless. There was no structure or order out here, just other cats living the same exact sadistic life. They didn't have to live like this, but they just... did. Was there really any questioning it?

Too worked up to feel hungry, Amberleaf cuffed a pinecone with her paw, following it as its spokes rolled endlessly over the soft ground underpaw. She didn't notice how distracted she really had been until the cone slowed down at the paws of a tricolored she-cat that stood only three fox-lengths in front of her. She froze and felt her body become rigid, her emerald eyes locked with the galaxies that would soon notice her and dart up.

      Clearpaw looked around him, his eyes trained on the beautiful water of the river he was walking on. It's beautiful... Clearpaw thought, his spirits soaring so far above the stars that it made him wonder if perhaps there was something even more beautiful beyond StarClan. Then, he slipped on something warm and sticky. He didn't have to look to see what it was. He had slipped on blood more than enough as a kit. Clearpaw scrambled to his feet, which seemed more than impossible on the red liquid. As soon he was on his feet, he stared in horror at his white fur completely covered and matted with blood. He took several startled steps back, holding back a scream and his claws sunk into flesh and fur. Flipping around, he meet eye sockets completely empty and yet staring at him accusingly. The white tom gasped for air, not realizing that he had been holding his breath the whole time, and stumbled away, but the beautiful area he had been at before was now just blood. Scarlett, shiny, disgusting blood. Clearpaw let out a piercing yowl and he turned to only meet a mountin of dead cats continuing on and on and on and on staining the very stars red.

      Spiderfang blinked open his eyes and met the bright light with a squint. He had been awoken by something, but, by what, he wasn't quite sure yet. He lifted up his head and glanced to the side, out of the rock he and his brother had been sheltering under that night. Then, the yowl came. Something so thunderously loud that it echoed off the sides of the gorge. Spiderfang leaped up and looked around wildly, failing to hide conceal his fear. His eyes landed on Clearpaw, and discovered his fur drenched and matted with sweat. Spiderfang took the two steps to his brother and put his paws on his chest. "Clearpaw," Spiderfang said as he shoved Clearpaw a little to the side, "Your having a nightmare. Get up." Clearpaw's eyes flew open and the white tom jumped up from his lying position. Spiderfang jumped back as well, shocked to find unsheathed claw flying towards his face. "Clearpaw. Be calm," Spiderfang told him, keeping his face passive. His younger brother was standing now, but still shaking and almost crying. Spiderfang sighed, "I'm going to hunt. It would be helpful if you did, too." He padded out of the shelter and sighed once more. He had woken up the same way the last two mornings. Clearpaw wouldn't tell him what the nightmare was, but he knew it had to be terrible. Maybe it was about their father. The very thought of Jayeye made Spiderfang's fur stand just a little on end and it also made several scars sting. "Idiot," he whispered to himself, "Calm down. He's probably dead..." Just like Blueblood. Spiderfang gave himself a smack with his tail. "Shut up. Shut up." He didn't want to think about that. He didn't want to at all.

Small

|She-cat|7 moons|Currently- Trying to catch a Blue Jay|Feeling- Curious and a tad worried|Is with- Dovepaw and Crowfrost|

Say hello to everything you've left behind
It's even more a part of your life now that you can't touch it

Out on this lovely day, a day just like any other, where life continues its daily rhythm, a small young she-cat cat wandered aimlessly through the woods. White and gray with her most noticeable feature being her somewhat small ears. Her blue eyes took everything in with huge fascination. She was a somewhat sheltered cat and had never strayed from her home before. But she couldn't help it

Two days ago, there had been a butterfly. A really pretty one. Wings the color of sunburst. She had never seen something so pretty before. So she followed it. Away from home. For hours. Then the pretty butterfly got trapped in a spider's web. The young she-cat, named Small due to her ears, wanted to help the butterfly, but she hesitated. The spider was hungry right? He needed to eat too. But then again that would mean the butterfly would die. A sacrifice for another. And that butterfly didn't want this sacrifice. It fluttered violently to try and escape this fate. Before Small could make up her mind it was too late. The butterfly was wrapped in sticky web, no longer moving. Hesitation. This made Small ponder the action of hesitating. Cats hesitate when they are unsure, when they need to make a decision. There are different types of hesitation. Each cat also seems to have their own special kind...Small quickly shook her head. She was getting way too ahead of herself. Small had then decided it was time to go home but a grim realization suddenly dawned on her. She was lost. She had no idea how to get home. The young she-cat felt a sudden wave of helplessness, but she pushed it down.

This all happened about two days ago and Small was still lost, alone, and hungry. Young cats like her needed food more often than adults. Small honestly had no idea what to do, so she just kept walking and admiring life. Suddenly, Small spotted a Blue Jay that was the same color as her eyes. It was an amazing creature. Small couldn't help but be entranced. What was life like for a Blue Jay? Do Blue Jays have emotions too? Was food hard for them, did that have to fight for territory, what where it's predators besides cats? All these questions raced through her mind. She wanted to know. She wanted to know really bad. The idea of eating it suddenly came to her. She gave it a sad look. She didn't want to eat it, she wanted to study it. But it's been two days since she's eating. She was starving. An unwilling sacrifice. With a twitch of one of her small ears, Small went into a stalking position and slowly crept forward, her eyes never leaving the bird. Such amazing feathers, and what a lovely blue....is it singing to itself? Small started to space out midway through her hunt. The bird noticed her and let out an alarm and took to the sky. Small let out a cute little gasp, and ran after it. She barreled through a bush, and suddenly two cats were before. She had never met cat's that weren't her family before. She gave them a blank stare, studying their features. Her eyes slowly went to the ground, and then back up to the two cats.

"Hi..." she greeted shyly, and a sweet delicate smile soon came upon her face.

Ice

|She-cat|20 moons|Currently- Eating|Feeling- Smug and a bit empty|Is with- No one|

Lie to get what I came for
Lie to get just what I need
Lie to get what I crave
Lie and smile to get what's mine

The dark brown tom with the white paws squinted his amber eyes at Ice, who had her eyes down and was fidgeting.

"I don't know..." the brown tom said, hesitating. Ice quickly shook her head. She then pawed at the mouse that was in front of her paws.

"No sir, you don't understand! I'm serious! This is a very special mouse. It drinks from the mountain rivers. Those rivers are the purest in the world. This mouse really can heal anything!" Ice insisted, looking serious. The brown tom gave her a wary glance before he finally shook his head.

"Ah fine, I'll take it." He said and pawed the mouse over to him, and in exchange, gave Ice a very big rabbit. Ice was overjoyed. She let out a happy meow.

"Thank you so much sir! You won't regret it!" she promised. The brown tom nodded.

"Good. My mate is very sick right now so hopefully this will heal her. Now get out." He said with a huff. Ice nodded and grabbed the big rabbit and walked off, not being able to help dragging it on the ground.

About half an hour later, Ice finally came to a big tree stump. A tree from long ago must have fallen either from age or the elements. She hopped onto the stump, taking her rabbit with her. She gave it a curious stare with her two different colored eyes. Her expression soon turned into a sly smile.

"Idiot. Like a mouse can heal someone." Ice snickered to herself and started eating the rabbit. Ice had encounter that tom just as he had caught this rabbit. She wanted that rabbit really bad. So she dug up a mouse that she had buried and approach the tom with it, claiming it has the ability to heal and that she would give it to him in exchange for that rabbit. Ice was a sly cat. She survived by taking advantage of others. Acting all innocent and trustworthy. She was taught to be this way and no one has ever corrected her or told her this was wrong so you cant completely blame her for her actions. She was a white cat who looked like she had her fair share of life. And she believed that she did. Now Ice just wanders around, surviving as a lowlife. A life with no purpose. Most likely she would never find a mate and she would just eventually die alone. She didn't mind that too much. After all, she didn't see much of a point of living anyways. All she ever did was eat and sleep and try to not die. She did not find this life rewarding. But hey, what can you do? Purring to herself, Ice continued to munch on her rabbit, not a care in the world.

Rabbit

|Tom|22 moons|The Survivor|Currently- Having a breakdown|Feeling- Scared and confused|Is with- No one|

Help me if you can
It's just that this, this is not the way I'm wired

Rabbit was an emotional wreck. He was still having a breakdown and now he was seeing and hearing things. Whispers of unspoken horrors and long slim shadows were stretching towards him. He quickly closed his eyes tightly and tried to stop his sobbing.

It's not real...

He thought to himself. He was trying hard to shake off the illusions. The whispering got louder, he could sense more shadows appearing, getting closer. Then all of a sudden, the voices where gone. He slowly opened his eyes to find the shadows gone too. Rabbit let out a shaky sigh of relief. For as long as he could remember he always saw and heard things that weren't there due to his paranoia. He reassured himself by saying everyone probably has this. He's not insane. He's fine. Perfectly fine.

Rabbit tried to calm down, his eyes still watery and his breathing was rigid.

"Pitter-patter..." he whispered to himself and slowly started to move forward. He was near a mole hole so he figured he would just the mole up. Three days without food was something he was use to, but Rabbit was sure it would be easier to think right now if he could get some food. Thus he forced himself to move and headed towards the mole hole.
.:If you fall up:.
...Just pick yourself back down...

Ƨ ω α и

Swan jerked awake with a gasp, and immediately sprang up to look wildly about her.
Only the faintly waving weeds of her impromptu den met her gaze.
Swan sighed and shook out her fur, padding out of her small den. She didn't bother to relieve herself, or try to groom out her fear-scented fur; it was a waste of effort, anyways. The nightmares came every night, and brought along with it the heavy stench of blood and rank fear-scent.
She gazed into the water of the river, watching the small fish swim and dart around the surface. She amused herself for a while trying to catch minnows, but soon gave up and dove into the river, swimming strongly. She paddled against the current for a few minutes and managed to catch a fish, before she pounced out and shook out her pelt. Her long fur she'd water like a duck's.
The fish was too large for her, and reluctantly she rolled the remains of the prey up into a leaf to eat for later.
Her heart was still pounding from the dream.

After a while, she started hearing strange noises. Odd mutterings, and every once in a while a shuddering cry or a low keen would pierce the air and make her jump. Who is there?
She eventually came across a small tom who lay huddled on the ground. He was trembling wildly and was slowly creeping towards a large mole hole in the ground. Swan's eyes widened and she slowly approached him, touching him tentatively it's one paw. "Are you alright?" she murmured.

    (at college, shortish post.)

grey

    The tabby closed her green eyes and rested her chin on the rough bark of the oak tree. One foreleg, her left, rested on the bark beside her head and her right hung down. Her hind legs also hung down, along with her tail. Yet despite her relaxed posture, her ears remained pricked. Grey was sat near the border of her territory, just a couple of foxlengths away. Occasionally she raised her head and parted her maw to taste the air.

DovePaw was just catching the scent of a near by mouse when something tumbled out of the same bush as the Blue Jay. Except this something was not another bird, but another cat. She jumped back surprised and wondering if this cat would attack them, had it been an ambush? Of course as the calico she-cat studied the other cat she saw it really wasn't much older then her is at all. It's ears were rather small too. The other she-cat spoke and DovePaw smiled her most friendly smile not at all as reserved or untrusting as CoalFrost who seemed to still be in shock. She didn't miss that his fur was up n his back. She rolled her eyes at him then turned back to the other she-cat. "Hello!" DovePaw replied in a soft friendly tone. "What's your name?" DovePaw asked, not at all worried that the young she-cat could be part of an ambush or anything of the like. She would admit it was odd to find young cats out by themselves, unless their clan was attacked and they had escaped, or like her they had a dream and left.

DovePaw of course had been scared to leave her clan at first, after all her old clan was all she had ever known. But after her father died there was no one worth staying for, the others were nice but she hadn't felt like she belonged. After having the dream of being at a Great Rock with 6 other cats a few nights in a row she had talked to the Medicine cat about it. LittleWing was the Medicine cats name, a small Tom who was kind to everyone and everything. He had told he she needed to fallow her destiny and not worry about what the others would think of her. He confided that since the day she was born he knew she was destined to do great things. Having felt leaving was the right thing to do she had slipped out early in the morning. It had been hard to find food at first but after finding CoalFrost things got a little better. Now it looked as if they might be adding another member to their little group.

CoalFrost had been perfectly happy just escorting DovePaw to the Great Rock. He nearly pounced on the young she-cat that tumbled out of the bushes and into their path. He honestly wasn't sure why he was so on edge, normally he could be found joking around and teasing everyone. Of course things were different now that he was with DovePaw, he didn't want the young she-cat to get hurt, he guessed that DovePaw reminded him of his sister, the one he had failed to protect. He turned back toe the threat and nearly brought DovePaw back by her scruff for walking up and talking to the stranger. Somehow he managed to keep from doing that.

Getting an eye roll from DovePaw brought a small smile to his face and he clamed himself and sat down deciding to let DovePaw do the talking for now. He took note of the other young cats ears, smaller then most it made her look more kit like the apprentice like. Still she seemed nice enough, unless of course this was an ambush, he had seen things like this happen before. He shook his head, no it wasn't an ambush, he would have caught the scent of the others by now anyway. He decided to let the two she-cats chat and stalked off a little ways away as he caught the scent of a mouse. Maybe he wasn't as friendly as he once was, but he could still catch mice for himself, DovePaw and their new friend. He scurried toward the scent and then crouched with his tail low to the ground his whiskers forward. He didn't move a muscle as he spotted the mouse. It was ruffling through the dead leaves on the ground. As it turned away from him he sprang up and landed right on top of it. He quickly killed it and then buried it before moving on to attempt to catch at least 2 more.

GingerRose sat perfectly still as her whiskers detected movement in front of her. To her eyes the animal was just a blur, until it came close enough to see with her right eye, now she could for sure see it was a mouse. Of course she had known it was a mouse before she had seen it, she knew the sound and scent of mice and could easily catch them even being mostly blind. With a graceful leap and landing she caught the small creature and smiled proudly as she settled down to enjoy her meal. She thought about the clan she had once had, a great clan it was. Big and in the perfect spot, until the dog attack. That had been a horrible day, a day of sadness and heartache. It was not long after that she had lost clear sight in her left eye, and now her right eye could only see clear when something was less then a foot in front of her. Thankfully she had made it through well enough and everyone she met never notice she was mostly blind. She planned to keep it that way to, she didn't want anyone's sympathy. Besides if she ever found a new clan and they knew she was mostly blind they would not want to give her a rank such as Huntress, no they would want to stick her with a medicine cat or even retire her to elder.

She nearly hissed at that idea but settled herself down and started eating her meal. It felt good to have some fresh meat, this was the first meal she had been able to catch in a week, prey was running low around these parts so it could only mean things, this land was bad or winter was coming. Maybe it meant both things, ether way her stomach thanked her for the meal. She cleaned her whiskers with her small paws the washed behind her ears before walking on. She still had hopes of finding some other cats, finding a clan that would take her in and believe in her. She walked softly on her paws and surprisingly she walked rather fast for being mostly blind. She had to admit to herself that she had been able to learn fast. Her sense heightened she not noticed things that she always missed when she had been able to see clearly.
