Magnus

Magnus remained in his spot outside of the cave before standing and turning to face inside. His eyes scanned the wolves inside of the cave before he made his way towards the medicine den. He could smell the strong scent of Amaruq's herbs even before he poked his head into the den. As expected Timur, her son, was in the den as well. Despite the loss of their beta he knew he needed to continue on. "Morning Amaruq-" He dipped his head in greeting before rising it and greeting the other brute, "-Timur." Once his greetings were done he got straight to business, facing the elderly wolf. "I came to ask how your stocks are Amaruq. Are you in need of a patrol gathering anything for you?" He asked calmly.

Enver watched as the black wolf stood and stretched. It made him want to do the same, however, he remained in his seated position despite the urge. Rather than the want to stretch Tynan's next words held his attention. "On your own?" He questioned, his eyes suddenly shifting a bit to show he held some worry. He knew that aside from his inability to hear Tynan was a fully functioning wolf and could handle himself, but the idea of him going to the river alone worried him a bit. What if something happened and something snuck up on him? Enver glanced towards Magnus to see him entering the medicine den before looking back, perhaps he could skip the morning activities just this once? Before he could protest the idea though Tynan spoke again, confused about the word moose. Enver looked back to him quickly. He felt a bit bad that he hadn't been clear enough so he slowed his thoughts and spoke again. "Moose." He slowly enunciated the word in hopes it would help the other wolf. Perhaps the double O made the ord hard to make out? "The Moose we caught days ago is gone." He repeated the sentence and for good measure he looked over towards the pile of bones in one corner of the cave where the moose had been. It was usually an omega or trainees' job to remove the bones once prey was stripped and eaten.
Redd
{Counselor--Male--11 yrs--Dog pack--Irish setter mix--Calm--TAGS:Skittles&Phoenix--MENTIONS:none--LOC:Forest}
After finishing his talk with Morrie, Redd made his way out of the camp. The old setter dog took his time as he padded through the long grass outside of the glade. He took in all the sights as he headed towards the river. The heat made him pause in his route and head towards the shade of the nearby forest. As he got closer the sudden scent of dogs upwind drew his attention. He froze for a few minutes, taking in the scent and confirming that they belonged to dogs and not wolves. Once he was satisfied he followed the scent, eventually coming along a pair of strangers. Redd watched them for a moment before clearing his throat to announce his presence.
"Good catch there little one." He said calmly, his greying eyes watching Skittles and her mouse. His eyes then traveled to the large brute next to her.

Clove continued to play and splash in the muddy water a while longer before she began to tire. Her once white coat was not covered in wet, brown dirt. Her tongue rolled out of the side of her mouth as she panted. She had played to her heart's content when she finally made it to the edge of the waterhole and laid down. She rested in the shallow mud for a while, rolling around every now and then to provide more protection from the harsh heat and sun. All the playing and splashing had made her work up her appetite and she considered leaving the gorge to go on a quick hunt.
