xxxxxxxxxxLore had been up for some time in the den, attempting to salvage even thirty more minutes of sleep. though with everyone else waking and moving about it became near impossible. even more so when the loud voice of Pyyrha reached her ears. she rose to her feet and shook her sandy pelt, casting everything from small twigs to dirt and burrs to the other side of the den. the sun temporarily blinded her as she stepped onto the warm path. her golden eyes cast to the ground as she blinked the spots from her vision. Lore glanced to where some of her pack-mates stood, with Pyyrha and the starlet Magnar in the center. she knew those two would eventually end up in an altercation, and Magnar would obviously be the loser. Lore admired his determination, but scoffed at his poor foresight. Pyyrha, on the other hand, got into Lore's skin with her obnoxious ways and she wanted nothing to do with her.
xxxxxxxxxxshe didn't care to see the outcome, so instead Lore began making her way down to the river, and then eventually to the woods where she hoped to find some prey. although it was spring and time for regrowth, prey had been awfully scarce as of late, and to be honest, Lore didn't foresee catching more than a rabbit or two.
xxxxxxxxxxbefore she reached the river however, her attention was drawn to a familiar figure. Faustus. Lore knew there were only two groups in relation to the brute. those that knew him, and those that wished they didn't. this only fueled Lore's fascination with him. mustering up all of the courage she could find, the wolf made her way toward him, making sure not to show the giddy feeling that was growing in her chest. he was tall and imposing, both of which drew Lore in. He had the tall, dark, handsome thing going for him, and she couldn't deny that he was extremely captivating. as she approached him, Lore recited in her head what she would say. So far she hadn't had many interactions with Faustus, so her confidence was still shaky, and it surely would be for quite awhile.
xxxxxxxxxxShe was only a few feet away from the male now. She was quite short and slender, so he towered above her. Something that both Lore found both comfort and intimidation. ❝ salutations, Faustus. Lovely day, is it not? I was just about to go for some exercise, as well as search for prey. perhaps you'd like to join me? we're more likely to find food for the pack that way. ❞ her words were said with a smile, and she hoped she'd been strategic enough in her phrasing that he wouldn't catch on so quickly to her attraction for him.
xxxxxxxxxxLore glanced back at the fight that was brewing near the healer's den. it appeared that opinions were split. with some wearing expressions of intrigue and enjoyment, while others shook their heads with disappointment. after all, this wasn't uncommon for Pyyrha. before she could hear Faustus' reply, a howl broke the air. Its origin was clear. Isaac. Lore sighed and turned toward the alpha and listened to his announcement of a loner in the territory.how boring. Isaac was eager, as always, for others to do his dirty work for him. ❛ why don't you chase him? scumbag. ❜ she thought, not caring to get involved in whatever sick game the king wanted to play. instead she stayed where she was, waiting on Faustus' reaction to the situation.
