Her brown eyes watched as the large male chased after her playfully, speeding up quite quickly. Kasey stayed at her pace, not wanting to run into anyone with in the Northern Pack, that was until, the Alphess spoke up. Kasey immediately stopped running, letting Kai come to her, and stood beside him uncertainly a she spoke. War...Against other dogs?! I've never heard such a thing... Kasey let out a quiet whine, glancing towards her paws. I can't- I wouldn't even think about fighting another dog... She thought to herself with a worried frown.

Dezire did her best to obey him though, being that he was the only dog in any pack who wouldn't hurt her, at least not physically. The fae, before leaping to follow Roero, stared at the ledge and tried not to cringe at a worrisome thought. Just imagine...Falling down there. She soon began to follow him, through the rocky path ahead of them. Her ears perked up slightly, this had been a different way than she'd normally go, but then again, perhaps he was showing her a short cut. "So...What it's like not seeing your brother? You know, he tells me quite often that he wants to see you, but my father won't let him come with me when I'm off-doing whatever." She spoke up as they walked on, her eyes gazing to the male curiously, wanting to start some sort of conversation, alone with him. "He really does miss you.."

>>>> The small saluki tried to obey what his mother had told him, curling up beside her, but even that seemed to make his paw sting with a sharp streak of pain. Cobi then tried laying on his side, trying to keep his paw elevated just a little. Though he let out a small whimper, and woofed quietly. "It hurts so much...And this ground is so hard.." Cobi's eyes met those of a black and white male, who seemed to cringe at the little pups pain. He quickly looked to his mother, then lifted his head and looked at the strange dogs yet again.

~Fᴇʟʟᴇ~
"The Tyrant"|Southern Pack Alpha|Location: Pack Boarders|Tags: Ace, Fox, Dezire

Felle had been focusing on his path, his mind far beyond his pack's lush boundaries... at least until Fox spoke up. Usually he liked Fox, but sometimes her tongue was a bit too sharp for his likes. ❝ You better know where your going.. ❞ Her brash comment made him slow for a moment and then stop. As much as Felle liked Fox, her tone was one of disrespect that he could not let pass. He turned sharply, his hackles raising as his fiery eyes landed on Fox. "How dare you question my direction? This is my land, is it not?" His dutch accent shone brightly through his snarl. "Femke has the newcomers, thus that is where we will find them. If these strangers prove... useless... you will have your chance, but only after I taste their blood first." Felle finished with a swipe of his tongue across his muzzle, spittle forming slightly around his lips.

"But, upon meeting them, we will entice them to our side -we'll show them the right side of the island. They will follow if they have any wish to preserve their lives." With that, Felle turned around and continued to follow Dezire's scent. With his head held low, he traveled in silence for a while.

Felle remembered when he first claimed these lush trees as his own. He'd just tasted victory, very sweet under the metallic blood that covered his muzzle. He also remembered the pain: collapsing by a roaring waterfall, and only the gentle nudge of a soft nose keeping him from drifting away. A young native of the island dogs had fled to that lush forest, escaping Felle's plot: Kiah. Although Felle had won, it wasn't without being close to the brink of death. Why Kiah didn't let him die, Felle had been unsure. She'd lost everything -that had been his plan -yet, there she was, tending his terrible wounds and back. Moons went by in this lush land and Felle grew strong again after her nursing. As his strength grew, his feelings for Kiah grew into something more than he had ever felt. He had been a fool to think he had actually loved her though. It was lust he felt. Kiah had soon become his: his prize possession from the war, yet a reminder that he had failed... fail to completely eradicate all the natives who had had it all.

So, Felle had wanted more. Kiah owed that much to him and more. He wanted two sons, both brave and strong. Instead, under the light of a full moon by the roaring waterfall, Kiah bore him two daughters... two pitiful whining pups: Femke and Dezire. He remembered being so angry with Kiah, warning her of her borrowed time to live until the pups didn't need her anymore to survive. After both pups opened their eyes, Felle dragged Kiah away with tears in his eyes to the very mountain edge in which the three dogs were heading now. His golden eyes had burned like fire when he pressed his nose into her beautiful red fur. Before ending her life, her took a mental image of Kiah: strong, brave, unafraid of death... Felle saw Kiah in both Femke and Dezire as they grew up.

Dezire's scent had grown stronger, accompanied by another scent in the wind, as rocks and hard earth now covered the ground. "They must be atop the cliffs," He announced before beginning the steep ascent. Although Kiah had healed his wounds so long ago, the wounds he suffered during the war never truly went away. He felt that day with each pawstep now, but never would Felle let it falter him.

"Dezire!"

Echo snapped her teeth together just inches away from Miro's face, her canines slashing together with fury. Her voice was muffled with a soft growl, just barely loud enough for only the betas ears to hear. "You're beta to help your alpha, not critique every move she makes! If she does something you don't approve of, respectfully bring up another option, don't just turn down all of hers," Echo snarled, the words gruffly erupting from her mouth with frustration. Miro was her beta, she she showed some respect by keeping her head slightly low and her tail not held high, but she looked him dead in the eye as she scolded the younger beta, clearly showing she meant business. Turning her shoulder towards him as if shaming him for his such cruel opinion towards Femke's decision, she took her place beside Femke. Echo positioned herself so her fur touched Femke every so softly, like a breeze ruffling her fur. She wanted her alpha to know that she was there for her, throughout her decision and her speech as she spoke to the newcomers. Squinting into the afternoon sun, Echo scanned the crowd of newcomers with an icy stare, as if daring them to speak out once Femke finished her speech. Echo glanced at Femke, her eyes bright with approval. "If any of the Newcomers speak out against you, they obviously aren't sane because what you just said was wonderful," Echo whispered discreetly.

Kai had been racing after Kaley, but then he heard a new voice speak up, and Kaley had skidded to a stop. Kai slowed down and came to a halt beside Kaley, then turned to see who was speaking. The hardened voice belonged to a fae who stood beside an older looking dog, and a large brute. Kai felt compelled to walk closer to this fae, who he assumed as alpha. He began to limp towards her, his adrenaline of playing gone which left his wounds stinging once more without the coating of adrenaline to soothe the pain. The only alphas in his life had been his owners, but even then he sometimes saw them as other pack mates. This dog seemed commanding and wise in her words, thoughtful of their opinions. Kai left the comfort of Kaley to walk closer, his ears perked with the intent of sucking in every single word she spoke to analyze what she said to the best of his abilities. By the time the fae was finished speaking, Kai was a few feet away, his mind buzzing with questions. Worst of all, he felt guilty of being suspicious of this fae. She seemed very commanding and truthful, but he didn't want to take any chances. If what she was saying was true, he needed to know everything to know who to fight for. If war was inevitable, he had to pick which side to aid. Then again, we could go off on our own... Kai dismissed that idea quickly, knowing that would just lead to a slow death. "How do I know you are being truthful?" Kai asked warily, his movements stiff as he approached even closer.

Other; Yas why you gotta b so rude,,

xxxFor once, Yasmina's icy composure chipped, reavealing the true alarm in her eyes as the alpha spoke. Merciless slaughter, fighting- wars? They are barbarians, she thought, her stomach churning with dread. For once the fae couldn't dare look at her young son, closing her eyes tightly. Even though the horror of the fae's words unsettled her to her core, she needed to think clearly. That couldn't all be true, could it? She had heard of strays living wild life styles on the streets, but there was always rumors, fabrications. Details added to make things seem much more grand than it they were.

xxxThis was one side of the story, as well. Perhaps there is a great detail the fae is keeping out, a clearer motive to this betrayal? It seemed so unreal, like a silly story pups would yap of. This alpha was young... Perhaps she could be jealous, of this pack living in paradise instead? Yasmina felt mixed, her nerves settling only slightly as she finally glanced down at her pup, eyes gentle and weary.

xxx"I know, sweetling, I know. We will get help for your paw soon, just rest for now." She comforted, though her words felt distant to her. She relaxed her posture, as not to frighten him, and gave him a swift lick on the head. "I need to speak with these dogs now, my darling. Just stay where you are, I will be only a few paw-steps away." Yasmina added softly, before standing tall. With a quick nod to her pup, she walked forward to meet the group forming around the alphess. Using her height to full advantage, Yasmina demanded attention with her posture.

xxxShe gave a sidelong glance to Kai, and while his question seemed valid enough, she had more pressing matters.

xxx"She could have made the entire tale up seconds ago for all I care. We will see soon enough," She snapped, what nerves she had swallowed before coming up as the irritation she felt now. She whipped back to the islander's, indignant. "My son's paw is injured, he needs help, now. This earth is too hard for him, and he is almost too big to carry. It is an open wound, he needs something to cover it, or disinfect," She shook her head slightly, struggling to muffle the desperation and anger in her voice, "You've lived here long enough- you must have something for medical care. Herbs or plants, or something in this blasted desert to stop infection, right?" She tried, a slight crack in her voice as she struggled for ideas. There had to be something that could help keep these beasts going, if they were in fights as they had said, right? The Saluki narrowed her eyes, waiting for a response.

xxxPerfect. An island full of bloodthirsty natives. Bellamy couldn't believe his luck. Possibly reacting the least out of the newcomers to the news, he stared ahead at the Alphess, looking tired, almost bored. He let out a heavy sigh as the fae finished, letting her words sink in. While half of it sounded ridiculous, somehow he felt she might not be making the entire thing up. The story was strange, and wild, but the way she spoke... He didn't have a gut reaction telling him it was a lie, as he was used to. He decided to keep his skepticism to himself for now, watching the older dingo praise her alpha, and the other dogs gather around.

xxxEven the two that had been acting likes pups earlier settled down to listen, which kept a small smirk on his face. When Kai asked a question, the brute felt himself nod in approval, and gave Kasey a small, sympathetic look. At least they were thinking clearly, now, he thought to himself.

xxxBellamy narrowed his eyes at the female Saluki, dreading the need to stare up at her as she talked. Why even make dogs that tell if they had no bulk to balance them out? He thought to himself, frowning. While her approach was less than amiable, and her demands shrill, glancing back at her pup in the dust, Bellamy held his tongue. He almost thought of his own mother, if briefly, before turning the thought away. This Saluki might be a headache, but at least an understandable one, for the most part.

xxx"A lot of us are injured," He rephrased gruffly, ignoring the suspicious look the Saluki shot him. "That whole speech is a lot to take in as well. Ya'll would understand if some of us needed some time to think and recuperate?" He questioned, glancing at the male that had been agitated earlier, before resting his gaze on Femke, his head slightly tilted and ears perked calmly.

|Femke|3 Years|Northern Pack|Alphess|

Femke understood the silence which held fast to the newcomers' muzzles, all except for the one little whimpering pup with the swelling paw, after her sudden and unprecedented speech. She looked at the pup no longer than she did anyone else, conscious of the sound of her almost panting breath and surely pounding heart. She would not deny her fear, the apprehension she felt at the potential judgement that might be cast against her words. It frightened her, as she looked over all of the blank and barley comprehending stares, to think that not one soul out there would believe her and that all of them, in the end, would be fooled by her misguided father. But that was okay, she had to remind herself. She had chosen to become this pack's alpha, chosen to bear the weight of this situation now more than anyone else. The responsibility was extreme, and looking out at so many alarmed, questioning, skeptical gazes was harrowing, but she forced herself to remain standing tall against those stares. A gentle brushing of warmth against her fur and a firm, reassuring whisper in her ear were like the foundation keeping her up.

Femke almost closed her eyes and bowed her head to release a sighed word of thanks. However, she held her composure, believing Echo to be wise enough to sense her unspoken gratitude. Sure enough, her unspoken thanks proved to be the wisest, for there was one dog in the crowd who was both bold and curious enough to push himself forward and bring himself mere feet from her face. Femke looked at this dog, hardly more than a pup, and instantly recognized him as the same dog who had been foolishly running about in the desert just moments ago. She blinked at him (Kai, she believed his name was), surprised to see in his pale stare something she would not have expected of such a recent fool. She saw thought in his eyes, curiosity--she saw provocation. Femke felt a great swell of hope fill her at a look that could have brought a weaker dog to its knees.

She parted her jaws to answer this insightful young newcomer, when, from the corner of her eyes,s he caught sight of the slim and dainty form of another dog asserting itself into her view. As soon as she caught glimpse of her, the female stood squarely just one paw step head of the brave young dog who had dared to ask the first question. Femke's ears did not miss the harsh words the female, Yasmina, sent sharply his way before Yasmina turned to face her directly. Femke appraised the dog who, after beginning to speak, plainly came to her only out of despair. Femke was disheartened by what she already knew, and that was that she surely did not have he answer Yasmina was so desperately looking for.

"I regret to inform you that we have nothing on our land which can help your son," she answered firstly, regret in a tone which hid behind it a promise for hope. "I have noticed the poor condition of your son, as I have noticed the conditions of you all." Femke cast her gaze out to the others once more, pausing for an extra second upon Kai, as if promising the answer to his question would, if not now, come to him eventually. "I refuse to keep from you all the fact that, over the mountains and withing Felle's territory, there are many herbs which you are all in need of. Of course, I have accounted for this. When Roero confronts Felle about our desire to let you all meet him, he has been given instruction to inform Felle that Echo voted to stay behind. The plan is, once Felle grants us entrance to his territory,t hat she will accompany us in secret and part from us once we are over the mountains. While we are all with Felle in his pack, Echo will be finding the proper herbs to take back to our camp. For those of you who choose to come back with us after the meeting, the herbs you need will be waiting," she promised, looking over all of the battered faces of the newcomers. However, they only stopped when they reached Bellamy, the rugged male who up to this very point, it seemed, had been perfectly content to keep to himself.

"I am aware of what you say, and I do apologize for the suddenness of this all. It is only that I know that the Southern Pack is acutely aware of your presence on the island. I kept you here unaware and resting for as long as I thought was safe, but to avoid a potentially dangerous raid, I had no choice but to cave and do what I know must be done. Just know that I do not expect any of you to make your final decisions tonight on where you want to be. I expect some to stay with Felle only to return here, and I expect others will come home with me tonight only to later go back to Felle, and I give my word to respect that." With this, Femke looked out once more to everyone. "Does anyone have anything else they wish to say?"

|Roero|5 Years|Northern Pack|Spy|

For the longest time, it seemed, Dezire was content to follow him in silence. Roero wasn't sure what that implied, but he had a couple of particular ideas in mind. First and foremost, he was suspicious that her silence was a dead ringer to the fact that she knew that he was trying to keep her from the easiest way down, which would mean that she already knew said easiest way. Second, he assumed that he was taking her down a new way which she had never before taken and did not want to admit it. Neither way was Roero necessarily happy. In fact, he was fearful. What would Femke--No, what would Miro, that blasted dog, think when he came back with Dezire in tow? Miro would be unhappy with the change of plans it would bring, and there was no doubt that Miro would blame him for it. Foolish Miro, always sticking his nose where it didn't belong and hating him for it...

Mindfully ignoring the dull throb of his cut paw, Roero had not trekked a particularly far distance down the mountain with Dezire when she finally decided to speak up. Roero, his head still held at no more height than his shoulders, cast a quick glance back at her after he made sure that his paw was landing down onto the proper ledge beneath him. His ears quickly became pinned at her choice of topic, and he scowled. This seductress, this vixen, why was her game always emotion? "I could ask you the same question," he snapped quickly back, desperate to stay out of Dezire's games. "What is it like not seeing your sister? Do you miss her? Do you long for her?" He began to rattle of, his tone mocking that of Dezire's own voice."Would you like for things to be the way they used to?" Suddenly, too sucked up in the action of defending himself, Roero yelped as a misstep of his injured paw caused him to nearly slip and tumble down a particularly sharp ledge. He scrambled back, his tail suddenly tucked. For a moment, he just stared down the drop which had almost taken his life. Then, turning his head away, he cursed under his breath and continued more warily onward.

For a moment afterwards, he traveled down in silence, but at last his conscience towards Dezire got the best of him. He sighed, wondering how long it would truly be that Yuri would miss him. Perhaps it would not be for so much longer..."I am glad he misses me, tutto bene?" he caved at last, but, before he could indulge Dezire any further, a booming voice echoing from above made Roero's heart, at last, almost stop. He would recognize that nightmare inducing voice anywhere. Roero froze. "Felle..." he whispered tremulously, suddenly cowering as he turned to face the direction of that nerve-splitting bark from above. "Santi numi!" he hissed in a petrified whisper as realization dawned upon him and wide, fear stricken eyes turned to Dezire. "You've tricked me," he whimpered in betrayal.

|Maroochy|3 Years|Southern Pack|Prisoner|

Maroochy, not allowing herself to get too lost in her thoughts, could not help but notice all of the muddled blobs of black and brown and red eventually disappear from her view through the waterfall. Of course, she had heard nothing of whatever conversations had taken place among the members of the pack, but Maroochy sensed that something was up. It was not typical that the whole pack took off at once from an apparent group meeting in front of the falls. From her glum lying position, Maroochy swiftly stood to her springy paws and began to pace about in an attempt to determine whether she could see the pack from any other angle. However, she discovered, no matter where she moved, those little earth toned blobs had disappeared from sight. The only blob that remained at all, in fact, was the fuzzy white form of Yuri, the resident coward. Suspicion prickled in Maroochy's mind.

It was highly unusual that Maroochy went guarded by anyone but Ace, that pathetic kiss up. She recalled a couple of occasions where Fox had been the best option, but --and Maroochy couldn't help but get a malicious glint in her eyes-- never had Felle been stupid enough to leave Yuri behind to watch her. The only thing that kept her from laughing were her suspicions. Maroochy had a good mind to believe that this was a set up. She realized that she would not be surprised if Felle was putting her through a little test of sorts, wondering if she was yet trustworthy enough to not take advantage of an obvious and easy opportunity to escape.

A bitter chortle passed through Maroochy's nostrils. She knew that Felle was aware that she was not nearly stupid enough to make a sudden and unplanned escape. There was no doubt she was an opportunist, but she was certainly not a blind one. There was no doubt in her mind, however, that, if she were certain of the pack's absence, she would seize the opportunity to explore the territory. In all of her years of being held prisoner, she was denied access to any land except for the camp and any trail they had once taken on the exploits to massacre the once remaining dogs on the land. Before Maroochy would dare to escape from Felle's binds completely, she wanted to get to know the land she would be running from him and the others on. An overnight escape would not afford her that. In fact, Maroochy knew that, if she were to plan an eventual escape, she had a first place to explore already locked in her mind.

For a while Maroochy sat and entertained these ideas, never failing to notice the lack of everyone's presence. Eventually, after much contemplation, she became convinced of the pack's departure. Maroochy's sharp, malicious eyes targeted Yuri's form through the waterfall, her plan coming to her instantaneously. She backed away from the entrance of her prison, drawing herself into a small unseen corner of her den. There, she was hidden, and there, all the sudden, she broke out into bloodcurdling, ear piercing shrieks and yelps, crying desperately again and again as she positioned her body into a pose of ambush. All she had to do was wait for Yuri to take the bait, and then the situation would be hers for the controlling.

OCC: Felle's response will come after Dezire's post, but for now.... here's Yuri!

~Yuri~
Temporary Player|Southern Pack|Crazed Follower|Tag(s):Maroochy
-----------------------------------------------

Yuri had watched Felle, Fox, and Ace disappear into the shadows. Suddenly, the weight of responsibility that Felle had bestowed upon him came crashing down around him all at once. Felle had never done this to him before, why now? Surely he was setting him up for failure, just so he could kill him. Yuri could see it now: Felle watching from the shadows, his fangs waiting for his throat. No no no! He wouldn't do that.... surely Felle could see how loyal he was, right? Right?? Yuri turned his white head to look over his should at the waterfall, his worried eyes scanning the falling water. This couldn't be hard, right? Maroochy had never tried to run before, why should she now?

Come on, you can do this! Yuri took a deep breath and turned around, padding quickly towards Maroochy's keep. As he was heading that way, one of the worse noises he had heard in a long time hit his ears: Maroochy screaming. Instantly Yuri's heart leap, his trembling paws quickened, and his pants grew heavier. I couldn't have failed already! I just got started! No no no! Yuri slowed as he drew closer, Maroochy's cries tearing him apart. But, something made him hesitate. What if this was a test? One particular yelp made Yuri press forward carefully -he could only hope he was doing the right thing.

The spray of the water moistened Yuri's white fur as he entered Maroochy's prison. The roar of the water was deafening, and darkened the area significantly. "M-m-maroochy...?" Yuri called out hesitantly, his eyes quickly searching the darkness, his eyes unaccustomed to the lack of light. "W-where are you?? Are you okay...?"

That's very true...But these pack dogs must trust her, if they're here with her now... Kasey thought, soon lifting her head, though she did no say a word, only looked to the dogs who had been in the pack. Her eyes soon looked to a dog the pack dogs had called Miro. Surely he would have something to say about the Newcomers questions and concerns, she just hoped he wouldn't come off as too rough.

>>>> Dezire listened as the white male hadn't answered her question, only to put it off until later and ask her about. Her sister. That was the worst subject any dog could bring up, and she felt hatred for every thought about her sister. "I do not want to talk about my -er- sister," The fae bit her tongue from saying anything rude or hateful as she spoke. Dezire then stopped in place, watching him roll down the rocky structure. "Please tell me you know where you're going?" How does he think that a fae will follow if he keeps tripping over every pebble he walks on... That was certainly a rhetorical question, so there seemed to be no need to answer. After a moment of time, they seemed to walk side by side, pelt possibly touching pelt with each step. "I believe he is...Felle..." With that quiet shriek of a bark, she gazed towards Roero in heart stopping fear. "I...I didn't know-I thought...He must've..." She whispered worriedly, soon trying her best to think of a plan. "You run back to the pack, I'll go to Felle, and see if I can find another way around...I won't let him hurt you and I don't think he's here to fight...He really did tell me to get the Newcomers, now go!" The brown and back brindle fae said without thinking, gave him a gentle nudge, then ran off to the sound of her father's voice.

She soon stopped running and began to trot when she saw the small group, looking for any possible way she could go when she gathered the group. Ah, yes, the shortcut Roero didn't want me to take, and are scent is still strong by it, Dezire thought with a smile, letting out a loud bark as she began to walk off the ledge, landing in front of her father. "There's a shortcut just ahead of this ledge...But a stupid, good-for-nothing fox lead me away from it," She spoke eagerly, immediately lashing her tail as she lied. It's for Roero, I'm doing this for Roero, she thought and had hoped that the boney, white male hadn't followed her back.

>>>> The young male listened to the fae's story carefully, tipping his head back and forth. A fight? It's like she thinks we were born without owners! He let out a small, almost irritated sniff, until his mother seemed to calm him down slightly. Cobi sat up uncomfortably, paws continuously aching for the rocky ground pierced into them. I wanna go home... He let out a small whine again, and looked at his mother as she spoke. Then alphess replied certainly. Nothing... How can a dog live with nothing?

A dog not much older than a year caught Echo's attention as he approached Femke. It was the same dog that had been foolishly running around in the desert sun, too naive to realize the real threat of the situation. She rolled her eyes. What could this stupid dog possibly want to say now. As he came closer, his posture stiffened which made Echo look at him differently, uncertain of his intentions. He spoke out, which was bold for such a young dog that Echo, only moments before, thought would be the first to die off in the sun or under the fangs of Felle. His question, the burning look full of ambition in his eyes, made Echo lift her head curiously. Her posture perked up, sensing the future dog that could be formed with his current personality. Despite the fact that she could see him being a good addition to the pack, she snapped back fiercely. "You would be a fool to not trust her," Echo said gruffly, her eyes staring straight at Kai with much more emotion than the words she spoke.

Another dog, of which Echo recognized as the dog she had seen with the pup, came to stand beside Kai, her stance more aggressive. Echo breathed in, and was overwhelmed by the emotions she could smell radiating off this dog she assumed as a mother, as none of them were pleasant. She respected her need to put her pup first, as Echo understood the feeling of needing to take care of others. Echo felt this with Roero, and the rest of the pack. What she didn't understand, was how this fae could just toss aside Femke's words as if they were useless information rambled out of the alphas mouth, and ask for herbs from Femke. The hair along her neck stood up, and Echo had just started to snarl a response when another newcomer spoke. The brute spoke respectfully and with more thought put into his words. The timing of his interruption was perfect, as it saved Echo from having a complete outburst in the middle of the time when they should be as calm as possible.

Femke responded as an alpha should, which was much better than the outraged Echo's response that had been silenced by a brute named Bellamy. Echo, lowered her head from her once dominant stance, and listened to what Femke had to say. Energy had been racing through Echos veins, released by anger, but it was nothing compared to the amount of excitement she had after hearing Femkes plan. It had been awhile since Echo had been able to do something besides ramble away stories and information that other pack members somehow found interesting. Being the dog she was, Echo contained herself in front of the crowd of newcomers, and just nodded her head in approval then scanned the crowd for reactions from the others.

Echo heard a small sound coming from the cliffs, like that of pebbles falling down the rocky slopes. She glanced over slightly, without emphasizing that she was straining to see something, anything. While others may not know it, she was looking for her beloved Roero. She didn't think he would be coming back on paths that would cause rocks to fall, but she never knew. Assuming it was nothing, she focused once again on the crowd of newcomers standing before them.

Kai shrunk down slightly at the elders response, but then was distracted when he heard the Saluki come to stand beside him, and was baffled by her response. His eyes narrowed on her, his tail lashing from side to side with irritation. Her question was valid, as Kai too was in a lot of pain, but the way she worded it just seemed so… selfish. Kai looked back at the alpha, and awaited her response patiently. She spoke of a plan to get herbs and meet Felle, which created a buzz inside Kai's chest. His tail started to wag, and he let his tongue loll out of his mouth lazily. It'll be like an adventure! He was excited to meet Felle, though deep down he was slightly afraid. Femke had spoke of him like he was… a monster. Femke seemed more welcome than Felle sounded, and Kai assumed that either way he would come back to her. Maybe it was her wide words, or encouragement, or the fact that she cared, but he felt like he owed her. In some ways, he did. She found them, and was now offering them their first taste of the island, and it was the truth --as far as he was told. Femke had a lot of leadership qualities which was encouraging Kai to follow her. They didn't have much, but they were offering to sacrifice what they had to share with them, and he respected that. Kai dipped his head to the ground with respect, though by now his tail was wagging with constant rhythm.

The brute ran his pink tongue over his chest before glancing around, his paws moved quickly before letting out a light sigh. Blinking his dark eyes before glancing around as he looked over to his alpha. His eyes danced around following his alpha and fox, his tail swiftly swished to the left and right before running his tongue across his muzzle as a sigh escaped his mew. He looked around watching his alphas paws step on the ground following in line with him. "Alpha. They would be stupid not to come to our side" The brute snickered before blinking as he pulled his nose to the air. "Dezire" He spoke to himself catching the females scent, his tail swished around softly before he sniffed the air once again. His nose catching another scent, a northern dog, his muzzle turned into a growl before moving after his alpha. His paws climbing up the rocks as he caught himself on a small ledge, it was not large could maybe hold one dog at a time as he made his way up the steep hill. The brute was always good at climbing, his claws turned softly allowing grip onto the small clumps of dirt and even snow that covered the ground. His thick pelt sheltered him from the wind as he moved up closer to were the two scents meshed together. "Dezire" He spoke his mew courting into a growl as he clambered himself onto the hill once more pulling up to the cliff side were the female seamed to be conversation with another dog. He watched the brute run off his eyes nodded to Dezire before looking back to his alpha. Following the female back down as he nodded to her voice, "Yes. Weaklings always wan'ting to take the safe way." He sneered shaking his head. The words just pulled out of his mouth, it was rude yes and he wished he could take it back but the fear of being attacked by his alpha keeping him to say these evil vile things.

The female had been listening to the alpha's words. She was hesitant about getting involved into the conversation but as the females words struck her as she moved closer to the cluster of dogs. "I might just be worried" She said picking up her back leg softly limping towards the group of dogs. "If the southern pack is as bad as you say, do you really think it would be that easy to just walk in and take his herbs." She said softly her muzzle going into a soft growl as she looked to the alphaness before dipping her head. "Miss, i can never repay you for what you have done for us but this really does no seam like a good idea." She spoke again her voice coming up as she let out a soft sigh listening around them. "Would it not be better to just like some of us make the dissipation weather to say or go?" She spoke again her eyes blinking once more before letting out a soft sigh. She spoke again her words coming out like she had spoke them time and time before, "Why risk the demise of said southern pack only for our own gain" The female spoke her muzzle reaching out to touch her chest before looking back to the alpha.

[OOC ;; I'm going to make xena really caring of others leading her to be fair.]

The hellions muscular mass glided across the tricky terrain, her talons gripping into every nook to stabilize herself. In her journey she may have stumbled once or twice, only because her concentration was not on her movements, but rather in the bloodshed there could be. When she reached stable ground she let her jowls part, the sickening sents filling her pallet. Worse yet was the comment. As lust filled her lampstra she fought the urge to attack, to kill.

When she was closest then she was able to smell another scent, and hear the comment from ace. Although the comment was rude, it seemed like he was holding back. The vixen could think if a million worse things to say, but he didn't say one of them. She couldn't hold back the thunder that erupted from her jowls, or keep her teeth from protruding her velvets. It angered her that they didn't kill her for her rude words, or the scent of fear radiating off of her. Pathetic. So with a singular step forward she spoke in almost a hiss,
What's wrong, are your nightmares coming true Dezire?.
She them lunged forward her jowls snapping only to come to a menacing smile, spit throthing down her chin

ooc;; I hope this is fine...
